It was* the best until the competitive scene came in and started the crouch spamming trend just for casuals to keep up with their constant sweating. It's not about the game, it's literally the community killing games with competitive repetition in EVERY casual/quick play and SBMM just makes it worse.
@AutismoGame Crouch spamming is just a mental fuck. For me, it makes it easier to kill the sweats because they're nearly stationary. I mean, seriously. What's easier to hit somebody moving at crouching, speed, or dashing around?
I feel like it’ll be a slow burn like siege or warframe. This team is tiny relatively speaking to the rest of the industry, it would take a total disaster to take them out
Its so good that I don't want to play another competitive fps again, so I'll be here until the gates close. I think many other have the same thoughts about it. So the fanbase may be smaller than expected but its solid
I dont have skills and i like this game. You don't need skills to enjoy this, while those who have it can enjoy it too, that's why i don't understand why it is not much more successful.

I don’t understand why shroud is speaking like the game failed and can’t ever succeed. The game has a dedicated community that has been consistent. Thats step 1. It hasn’t even been out a year.. Do people not remember Apex! It took forever for that game to get to where it is now. Success aren’t made over night. It takes time to be a top played game.
Im not saying the game is bad either, i liked it, but its obvious something went wrong, i mean Valorant didnt fall off so much when it released, something just went wrong. :/ Idk what, i uninstalled it too after some time, since it just didnt feel right.
@herring1835 because valorant was very similar to CSGO imo which is why it was so easy to pick up and play. the only game I could compare the finals to is apex in terms of how different it is compared to other games on the market. maybe it's the slower TTK in The Finals that turns people off?
@@herring1835 Okay, Valorant. But the majority of games that top the charts have a large decline (e.g., Helldivers, Paleworld). My point is that games take time to build up to the top played games. Nothing comes in and takes over immediately. Every top game took time to grow to get where it is now. To act like the finals failed and cant succeed doesnt make sense to me.

Trust me it’s nothing wrong with the game is the “gamers” HD2 is a repetitive inspiring game …but the hive mentality and the collective “need” to stick it to the man wins with simple minded ppl . Have fun dripping for the 1000 times to fight the same enemies, for the same “loot” rinse and repeat… no other modes , no camping, no story
Not fully at all. 1. If you wanna make a competitive game you have to listen to your competitive players and not cater to the casuals all the time. 2. Content, its extremely lackluster the meta has barely changed. Melee is cool and fun but we need weapons that will actually be viable in the long run the meta won’t change otherwise.
Every game isn’t for everyone. The vibe I felt on release, from the lobby, kills, arena brought back feelings, excitement, and joy that I haven’t felt for any game in a long time. Regardless of what the game goes through this is the game for me. Even took me from Apex. So doesn’t really matter how streamers feel the game is great to me and many people who enjoy it will feel the same.
I agree but I think the finals releasing before it’s time is good. The finals will hit its peak potential around season 5 I think. I think it’s great now but it’s trending upwards and we need to hope the peak happens when interest resurfaces
I think the key piece this game is missing is Esports and official tournaments. Cause let's be honest, this will be insanely fun to watch and it will probably bring more people to the game. Besides, The Finals is already set up thematically to be an Esport game, so why not go there?
The finals to me is such masterpiece to me. The music, sound design, gameplay... It's amazing to me and I won't let everyone change the way I feel about it
I feel like although the competitive aspect is definitely where the finals has the peak potential, as in, how well executed team composition shows off most of the aspects of any single match the best; the game itself in its core is very low-stakes and casual in comparison to modern FPS fads, be it battleroyales or extract shooters in the other end of the spectrum, the Arena Shooter is inherently extremely laid back. And although it excels as a laid-back deathmatch, the overemphasis on ranked play at least in the streamers' side eventually drove the game to becoming a month-long fad. As Shroud said, if this were released in a particular time where people wanted Arena Shooters, it could've seen a lot more mainstream attention, however, as a big fan of embark and player who pays a lot of attention to the inner workings of the game, I believe this game has the core game design, direction and standards good enough to, as another commenter said, age like fine wine.
all I feel like I'm seeing when you boil it down is "why isn't this more like cod?" I know no one is literally saying that, but it just feels like because it's different compared to those types of games people can't enjoy it

Agreed, i always thought the respawn timer has a lot to do with it, maybe the lack of achievements to go for like camo grinds, or even attachments. People want a game they can enjoy and grind at the same time. A fun game isn’t enough for most anymore. (Ex. Cod: People criticize for the lack of fun they have but then still grind the camos.)
@@samhyatt4863 Sure but the respawn timers hold it back. TDM ideally would have like a 2-3 second respawn time with no obj to defend or go for(besides getting kills) and 4 squads of 3
The Finals is the best FPS game and idk what happened to shroud... Also when you have people who like fps games having brain rot from COD/Valorant its hard to rewire their brain into playing something else. The Finals have everything great FPS game needs and it is a great fps game.
We just gotta keep playing and supporting the game until the day that it does really blow up, and hopefully we can keep it going until then. I just hate it when good games struggle to stay afloat because they just didn't catch on (Spellbreak is my most recent thought) so I hope The Finals can stick around for the future.
Funny that Embark are chasing the extraction shooter fad with arc raiders but had so much fun demoing the Finals prototype that they rolled with it. It's genuinely fun and they wanted to share it with the world, but it's not what everyone wanted. I feel like at this point we're just waiting for other games to fuck up to pick up their pieces. After seeing the latest community update video I'm optimistic but like with every live service game time will tell. Hope to see everyone in S3.
Season 3 is going to be great. They are clearly playing their cards in the best way they possibly could. Working on making cashout the best it can be with World Tour, and refining TA. Focusing on refining modes to make them as good as possible through things like world tour and ranked TA could be super crucial to having a flourishing future
These are some of the reasons new players quit the finals before getting hooked. For starters, unlocking stuff is very time consuming, most new players that dip into the game will likely never get to use a vast majority of the equipment since the time investment required to unlock it is too much, what if they grind to get enough vrs to buy a gun, try it and it's shit, while they see their teammates running around with better weapons? they quit and done. Then you have the new player learning curve for cashout and quickcash. They get confusing feedback from playing ranked and quickplay which makes it harder to understand what's happening and since kills don't affect the outcome in a major way it also doesn't carry over any knowledge from previous games. You also have the character appearance. Out of all the faces they give at the start, only the chinese woman is attractive, the black woman is ok, the rest are outright bad. There no male face that's good, the black man may be a bit passable but not much. Also the bodytypes of the characters. Female builds are too flat and don't have clearly overt characteristics and males are not more muscular. Changes are too subtle in my opinion and it results in significantly unatractive "contestants". Then finally, weapons have increasingly gotten less effective over time when compared to the OB. The policy of nerfing weapons and gadgets constantly has downgraded the effective feel of weapons and worsens the player experience. And nerfing weapons by increasing recoil pattern difficulty is a very bad way to balance, since it punished new and lower skilled players that don't train aiming while sparing anybody that puts some time into learning it. Those would be some reasons that have likely contributed to people dropping this masterpiece of a game we got. It's sad to see it's current state and I will keep filling my daily hopium canister every morning hoping for the game to take off again but oh well. I've been playing nische shooters ever since Tribes ascend and dirty bomb back in the day so...
I needed this game honestly my primary games are fps games and this game is the most unique its the most polished game ive played in a while its the first time in a long time ive actually enjoyed playing a video game

I feel as though it could come off as desperate, i think the issue is that the fps community doesnt want anything new despite their crying for it. they already had the chance with titanfall 2 and the finals but they always circle back to what theyve been hooked on for years as well as what all their friends are probably hooked on.
This will change nothing. It‘s allready dead. You got CoD, XDefiant, R6, Valorant, Overwatch 2, Apex and so many more coming. There is no place for a small try hard sbmm niche game like The Finals without TDM or any non objective mode

I have the same feeling with season 3 trailer. It has all right elements but it’s just too idk… quiet? Sponsors theme is massively underused. Same with AI announcers. Even main menu was blant and stagnant for most of season 2. I feel like The Finals needs to overstimulate players from aesthetic/vibe point and it’s just too normal.
They need a casual mode with big teams like a battlefield. When you have small teams you feel lots of pressure and can't relax. As a new player or a casual you will enter a game and just get walked over and quit. The movement, destruction, and gunplay for the finals is some of the best on the market.
I feel like the game's popularity has been fine, it's not the most well-known game but it only cam out a year so.... Also, I enjoy the game itself personally, it have some interesting mechanics and stuff to play with. But i think the main problem with the finals is that some gamers may be putting too much expectations on those fps game, so people starts quitting I guess
Shroud didn't like the game from the beginning. His opinion is worthless. he said the shooting and movement felt BAD... two of the greatest aspects of the game. He changes his mind about the game every time it comes up. It's really irritating.
Yeah Palworld/Helldivers took all the players who just want to mindlessly play a fun, chaotic and trending game (nothing wrong with that) And for the competitive kind, games like Apex and Valorant are solidified. The majority of these players have already spent hundreds on skins and cosmetics, as well as countless hours grinding, so to come to a game that "might die" is a HUGE risk. It's ultimately the reason I think people are constantly blathering on about how the game is "dead" already, because these players are kinda all or nothing. They either: (a) make the full transition over to The Finals, abandoning their previous game (b) ignore The Finals and pray on its downfall so the game they are currently playing grows in popularity, and the grind they put into it is more impressive. I hate to admit it but I think the only way The Finals "blows up" so to speak, is if one or two of these games really mess up or die completely. Not saying that The Finals doesn't deserve the popularity, It's a really fresh and well thought out FPS experience with cool concepts, It's just there are lots of people who aren't even giving the game a chance.
I think one of the issues is just that game players dont want to give it a chance. With the average player mainly playing fucking warzone and cod as their shooter game, they just don't know about The Finals. All they know is CoD. The Finals is such a much better, much well-rounded game, with it having absolutely beautiful graphics at only around 30 GB of storage compared to CoDs nearly 200GB storage for graphics that get turned all the way fown for FPS gain and visibility, reasonably priced cosmetics, freedom to dress your character how you want, with different pieces of clothing, the weapon skins are artistic and unique, especially for the price, the battlepass is amazing every time, i find myself using every item because there are no bad ones. In CoD, you have weapon blueprints that wont matter once you unlock mastery camos, in some other games a battle pass weapon skin is just a JPEG put over the weapon model. The Finals has that capability of becoming the next Fortnite in my opinion, where EVERYONE knows about it, where it becomes a household name that even the parents know about, where its talked about EVERYWHERE. I PRAY that The Finals gets the recognition it deserves.
Nice. You know Epitomy, life is like pandoras box. All that hatred, unluck,illnessess and mishappenings. But at the bottom of Pandoras box is a little faith. Thats all we need. I have a good example. During WW2, a small village near the ocean in Japan was about to be attacked by an enemy ship via rockets etc. All villagers gathered together in a Temple and just prayed together, that they will remain unharmed. Just a few minutes later a big storm happened and eventually sunk the enemies ship. Just like in that story, we have to hope and believe in the succesion of The Finals. In every great story is faith a big factor in a plot twist. Goodnight.
Idk I feel this is a pretty solid take tbh and I agree with it in a sense but bad timeing was not the result because I mean this last year we came off a really middle of the road cod migration were the devs just couldn't keep the game in mind for the casuals and competivite players me being one of them had like many others left as the cycle Is and then Xdefiant not soon after with a rather small beta that people loved then we had this big pause of man I wish I had something awesome to play in this pause while we wait and that's when this game stepped into the arena like it could of not have been perfect to try to swoop in and try to grab as many players as they could truely it wasn't about the timeing I think. I just think it was the fact most gamers are spoiled by daily shop with new content each week on a bigger scale than the last and 3 or 4 small bundles and updates in games where updates come weekly and massive amounts of content hold a weight like 4 new weapons were added like prime example is fortnite back in chapter 1 haveing a solid update of new content a new gadget or weapon each week constant patch notes weekly map changes and item shop events,modes anything u can think of it was done in minutes to weeks but it was almost always consistent and out while the trends where lively and they managed to keep the player base because players had a reason to get on every week if the finals had idk something more unique with its shop or pass maybe even something gameplay wise that gamer haven't seen or experienced before it would of stuck alot better with players that's likely the reason it slipped so far down and this comes from a finals fan with 500 hours and has played closed beta so to say I love this game is an understatement and if this game fails idk what hope I have for FPS if this fails I just feel these other games held a weight CSGO a legacy icon in the scene fortnite a pioneer and invented the battle pass pubg the first major game that pushed the BR genre into the light alot and what we got was a cod like game with battlefield destruction witch isnt anything inventive I would love to believe this game had bad timeing and I disagree I think its great it's more of a long term investment and waiting for new maps to play more weapons more content to draw players in isnt a grand strategy for staying afloat in the game industry as of today especially after the microsoft situation but I'm hopeing that the long term goal is well long term and maybe they keep the game in a committed cycle where it has time to blossom and grow and maybe we see more players come into the game into the future and have a great time and stick to makeing loyal fans I'm sorry this was a bit long but a worthy write to explain how I feel on the situation and hopefully u all think its actually a valid take would love to play with people if your Intrested as well if so hit me up ❤
Honestly the one standout moment where I was like "ehhh not so sure about this game..." was C4 + carriable nuke. It very quickly turned meta to just run around as a heavy with 2 C4 strapped onto a poison barrel instead of actually shooting people and it just took way too long to nerf correctly. On top of that there was the double whammy effect of cheaters using that keyboard into controller spoofing exploit which ruined a lot of lobbies for me personally. I still play The Finals; I think it's awesome. People need a reason to give it another shot though.
Saw him playing Power Shift today, kept complaining about shields and heals while running Mesh Revolver while chat constantly kept telling him to use glitch nades or barrels. He either read it and completely ignored it or he chose to ignore chat for the entire match while complaining all the way through
I think the biggest reason for the distaste for the finals is that there IS NO reason, people are just so used to the games they have before and have found a type of gaming that they just like, and that's fine. It is OK to not like The Finals, the problem starts when they don't realize their own preference of genre and project their unfounded hatred onto others, and tend to just go with the wind because they don't really have any other excuse, "everyone else hates it so it must be bad, dead game." If the game picks up steam in the future, many of these people may just change their minds. In my personal opinion, I have never played a game I enjoy more than this in my entire life. I find it hard even headache inducing to play FPS titles, but that's just me. I joke about COD players being boring, but if they like it, then more power to them, but I would never force someone to like this game if they don't like it, its always personal preference.
3:52, sorry Shroud, as a Battlefield fan, we were missing something crucial in 2042... and that was the sandbox freedom of destructable envrionments. The Finals came out at the perfect time to take a massive dump on BF2042.
I honestly think the biggest issue is the weapons for most people. The iron sights on a lot of weapons are trash combined with recoil. I know skill issue, but I’m just saying the best options are FCAR and MP5 strictly because they have short range optics.
I don’t agree with their ranked changes. but cash out does need to be cleaned up a little bit. and the only reason why they’re changing the ranked game mode is because they want to fix up cash out. I’m not a big fan of terminal attack But is it just me? I can’t wait to learn a new ranked system and see how it feels to have a 5v5 against players who are equal skill set. Like that sounds really fun. but I will say this. if roll lock isn’t a thing in terminal tact ranked it’s already in shambles. You should be only allowed to use two heavies, two mediums, and one light. if they allow people to use five heavies. ranked will be cooked. let’s not forget. The amount of mind and turrets. but they did say it did some big changes to terminal tack. let’s wait and see what kind of changes they made.
The only thing this game need is a casual game modes, domination, team deathmatch, hard-point, I’ve been following this game since they first announced and this game is awesome but the casual gamers are the ones who makes the games successful, ask Epic.
Being good just isnt good enough anymore sadly. Hyperscape is a game i thought was amazing but that died i really hope the finals doesnt suffer the same fate. I think licensed characters could help
The game's not fun because every match is full of only full-auto weapons. We have SO many fun and interesting weapons yet everyone uses only full-autos, why? Because they have roughly the same time to kill (TTK) as other weapons but they're INCREDIBLY versatile, able to be used in close range, medium range they excel at, and some have very strong long range damage as well. If this game removed all the full-auto weapons it would immediately become 2x times more interesting with tons of new strategies popping up.
Here’s a few problems 1: shroud and others big streamers get paid big money to play certain games don’t think they don’t . These are contract level deals. 2: gamers rather be ok in the games they already know …example COD… point and shoot …most ppl won’t jump into a game they’ll be crapped on 3: hive mentality, “my fav TH-camr/streamer says they don’t like this game I also don’t like it”
Shroud is exactly right, but I think it's just one aspect of the explanation and not mutually exclusive to others. For instance, I've had a theory for a while that the game is just too "high stakes," and thus too stressful and exhausting, for the average gamer. High stakes mean way higher highs (which is why I keep coming back), but I suspect it also leads to lower lows. Just a theory. If that is part of the reason, along with reasons like the one Shroud highlights, the solution seems pretty easy. A game mode that inherently feels lower stakes in each moment (EDIT: Extending TA to best of 13 might actually help with this some). Anyway, I should be able to control my emotions and just play "for fun," but if lots of other players have the problem I have, they can't even play the casual modes without getting amped up eventually. Maybe you guys can tell me whether I'm more the exception than the norm?
the problem is theres too many fps games out on the market rn. XDefiant, COD, Fortnite, Valorant, CSGO, (overwatch?), TF2, Siege, theres just too many. thats why hienas shut down, though i am sad to see it go that game was fire
The FINALS is the bomb, its so so good and hopefully like people said below itll age like fine wine. But its seriously the best and most fun FPS ive played in like ever? Its also the most difficult, which i appreciate, and the most manic, which is great to blow off some steam with, and its so so clever, and i like tricking opponents and being tricked. And it looks fantastic and has some of the slickets cosmetics ive seen.
If someone like jinxy started grinding this game and pumping out content it could prolly alter its path dramatically for the better. It seems to me to be a fun, solid, refreshing game. I think lotta the hate is unnecessary and just people going against the opinions of the cult like following that is the finals fanbase lol. But a strong small passionate community is extremely valuable and a great opportunity for the devs to do the best they can to make the game even better. Also making the ranked system better and more rewarding would prolly help, just a thought. Siege would have died years ago if not for its passionate community. The finals is fresh and I think it will end up having much higher numbers than it does now down the road. The team behind it seem like they are are listening to the players which is leaps ahead of other competitors.
My game keeps stuttering, and I don't know why. I have a 3060 Ti and have set everything to low, getting at least 90 FPS, but it's still lagging badly since Season 3. What can I do to fix this?
I like the finals but there’s not enough new content during the season to keep me for the whole season and also I don’t think new seasons have enough content
The Finals is the best game since Apex at launch and Apex has gradually gotten worse. Finals never loses my interest, it’s just so fun, the most fun I’ve had in an online game in a long time. The cosmetics are the greatest too. In my opinion, it plays better than Apex too and the destructive environments just add such a great element to fights. It’s impossible for this game to be called “not fun”… it’s so fun, so well made and anyone complaining: skill issue.
The finals is an enigma. The game has everything you could want and IS fun when it’s fun. But very not fun when it’s not. I think cheesy comps can make the game very not fun. Like 3 mediums with mines everywhere and 3 turrets. Or two heavy being healed by a one medium. They’ve made some balance changes to help. But going against certain stuff isn’t fun and every weapon doesn’t feel viable. Like having a sniper on a light class and nothing else sucks when the whole enemy team pushes you close. I think you should be allowed to carry two weapons.
The Finals came out after the mediocre Battlefield 2042 which was the best timing ever. Both game have something that gamers would expect, destruction and Embark delivers the physics very well.
Needs more more more maps. More variety gamemodes. More sense of “commotion going on” Like tf2 had all kinds of gamemodes and maps and character Just needs to capture that vibe. I love that the story of the game is faceless contestants, the 2 announcers, anonymous ai holding it all together, CNS and sponsors. We don’t need main characters like tf2 or overwatch But with all those characters, we really get no lore. Less lore than dark souls We need just a tad more to in the cinematics department
Before i get to my main point the finals has more interaction on x etc that xdefiant wich doesnt boat well for xdefiant its normal for a games playerbase to drop in players. Se wiöl happen with xdefiant if it already hasnt happened. Secondly we know finals is mostly console based on dev comments and if i remember correctly 300-400k daily player count at its lowest isnt bad its above average.The game needs marketing wich they started doing these season. The more you see of a game the more you think about it etc. Thw start of the fknals is sadly peetty similar to rogue company we have a great excample there how to save the game and what not to do if you want it to fail. Perception matters a lot thats why steam charts might be more harmful that useful in cases like these. Bad pc port whilst mostly clnsole players, low steam charts =bad perception
I have forced almost all my friends to play this game and they were pretty excited when they first started out. Then it became stale for them due to how much chaotic the game became. Its too much they can’t understand whats going on and always gets killed by someone third partying. Its funny but also highlights probably the biggest reason the game didn’t took off. Its too much happening at the same time. I always tell them that its ok to die you can always respawn but I guess dying for them is too punishable. Thats why I believe TA is at the very least a much more manageable game mode that most people could play. I just wish they would let people play it casually first before jump into ranked.
There were honestly no valid points made in the video, not one point was made. When are people going to stop letting “pro gamers” and “influencers” tell them how to think about games. It’s simple, play games if you enjoy a game, keep playing. If you do not enjoy a game, stop playing the game, but let it be your reason to stop playing instead of a gamer with a couple million followers tell you what’s wrong with the game.
ever since the beta the main thing that made me stop playing was the movement, I just didn't like the way it felt kinda unresponsive, I don't know when but it seems they changed that and it feels much better now, the only thing now is fps, for some reason I can't get the game to run above like 50ish fps, might be a cpu thing cause I have a pretty old cpu and my gpu since to hold up well, it's kind of a shame cause it feels so good when I'm playing in the firing range with 100+ fps
the main detriment of The Finals is being similar to Battlefield despite being an arena shooter - Battlefield is the least popular it’s ever been, so when people hear the comparison, I imagine they’re completely turned off - it sucks because The Finals has crazy potential but like Shroud said: gaming goes through fads, and hating Battlefield is one of the biggest fads in gaming atm
Alright my opinion about "The Finals" i feel like it's not rewarding enough for me thus i enjoy playing it. They should give out a "grind" reason to play the game. For example some people care about cosmetics so if there was a good way to earn free cosmetics by playing that would bring some people on. Also the game itself isn't for everyone cause it has a good skill cap and someone needs to play a lot to get good. Now you might say that same goes with almost every competitive game like Valorant but the thing is Finals is a very unique game that mixes a lot of new things that players aren't used to. Another reason i believe is that content available isn't compelling to most players, thus season 3 might work well cause many people enjoy japanese culture. The game is still new and has a lot of potential, i do believe that will eventually get the attention it needs but like in 4-5 years when the game will have too much content for a new player to get along with. Give the game some time and let the devs "cook" and also needs a bit more advertising not many people know about this game.
I’m just sad about cash out being gone. There’s no longer a 3v3v3v3 mode, which was all I ever played if I wanted to have fun. Sure, I guess change the comp mode, but why get rid of both?
most people clash the game only because they're not good at it, despite the fact that the aimiste silk is too strong on controller it's clearly a game based on placement / movement so bad for children controller, or children keyboard mouse who just want to launch a game for fun. And since the studio wants to please everyone, we good players get nerfed on weapons/equipment to narrow the gap... which sometimes makes the game too average...
I love everything about season 3 except the new ranked TA. In my opinion its just way to slow of a game mode for a game that was built on a speedy first come first served 3rd partying meta kinda game thats why quick cash was its primary mode and game. Add the speed plus the destruction and the abilities that make winning fights 1 sided this game was never made with the intention of a SnD kinda game mode. I think its a big step in the downhill for this game bc so many games have started out as something different and fell into this same type of game mode and then soon after became a dead game and i cant help but to think that this game mode will backfire and hurt the game unless they stay a non competitive game but i cant see them ever getting into esports now they had something unique and new then quickly switched to what almost all games are now and esports already have enough games like what the finals are tying to become with this TA gamemode. But before any body says anything this is just my opinion and i am not saying the finals is bad or anything i am just saying its turning into games we already have CSGO, Overwatch, XDefiant, valorant, Paladins, etc ( lots of other smaller games) and i dont mind the finals taking a stab at this gamemode and keeping it in there game but making it there main focus and making it the games competitive scene and basically making it the face game mode of the game i think is a fairly bad idea but hey it might turn out great i just want this game to succeed and land in a stable spot.
I also have no idea why the player numbers have dropped other than people must be playing a different version of the game to me? It's been a brilliant breath of fresh air where no game plays the same twice even on the same map and mode and all 3 classes play so different I switch between them all the time. To me it's simply the best FPS going, but people want to stick with the stale games like COD and just moan rather than try something new and innovative
I think it is timing. Right now, at least for me, im at point where the fps genre is just getting exhausting. Ive been looking more forward to 3rd person story games, like the elden ring dlc or gta6. I want to love this game, and i do, but its just a time where i want to take a break from them. (Sound like a break up lol)
The game was good my pc is not helldivers2 50/60 fps medium graphics The finals 30/55fps everything at the lowest graphics Plus in pvp fps are a lot more important
i love the finals, having so much fun in the game. Maybe they need some standard game modes like domination or capture the flag - could be rly fun with the destruction. And maybe at some time add some weapon customisation. I dont know what there Plans are for the future but maybe do a survey and find out what the playerbase wants or player who arent playing what they wana see so they come back. Lets see what the future brings
There’s this weird skill gap for people who approach the game and there’s a lot of nuance compared to other fps games. It’s not run and gun and it’s not a BR so people don’t understand how to approach it. Also realistically speaking you do need to be open minded and not get mad about losing when you start. I’m lucky I played day one and now I’m pretty good and have a decent understanding but it takes time.
The Finals is fun. People call it "boring" and everybody repeats it like NPCs. We call it "epidemic hysteria or mass hysteria" there is a mass psychogenic illness. Embark needs to dispel this bad belief.
i love the finals, but my pc is so ass that i powered through season1 with average 50fps~. not helping that the optimal setting wants you to have rtx on. just like apex, might get addicted few years after i get new hardware. and then people will naturally follow after they get their new hardware too.

The Finals marketing was also non existant. They were entitely relying on streamers and tubers whike having THE WORST promo video ive ever seen on the steam store.
I feel like people dont like the class system, if the game was a hero ability shooter with swappable gun/equipment window it probably would perform much better
personally they just half ass what direction they want to go so they dont get the top of anything group. they need to go hardcore competitive or hardcore casual. if they do this then better players will come to create better metas or if they take it the casual route then better streamers would come. tbh doesnt matter if its overwatch or anything tanks ruin games and the excitement they can bring for highlight videos to bring more people in
I feel like it’s the amount of annoying things in the game things like cloak. Cloak is one of dose things that’s annoying to use and play against and I play lite. turrets are also really annoying and so is the amount of shields heavy has how is it fair that he can shoot me but I can’t shoot him
There's nothing wrong with the game it's fun it's polished, it has some small issues like cheaters and balancing but that's the case with every mp game
I've been playing for a long time, and I actually think all the gadgets should be unlocked from the start. Unlike when it was first released, the entrance for new players needs to be wider now.

I don’t understand why shroud is speaking like the game failed and can’t ever succeed. The game has a dedicated community that has been consistent. Thats step 1. It hasn’t even been out a year.. Do people not remember Apex! It took forever for that game to get to where it is now. Success aren’t made over night. It takes time to be a top played game.

@herring1835 because valorant was very similar to CSGO imo which is why it was so easy to pick up and play. the only game I could compare the finals to is apex in terms of how different it is compared to other games on the market. maybe it's the slower TTK in The Finals that turns people off?

Nothing comes in and takes over immediately. Every top game took time to grow to get where it is now. To act like the finals failed and cant succeed doesnt make sense to me.

Content, its extremely lackluster the meta has barely changed. Melee is cool and fun but we need weapons that will actually be viable in the long run the meta won’t change otherwise.

The Finals feels like it’s ahead of it’s time right now
I feel like although the competitive aspect is definitely where the finals has the peak potential, as in, how well executed team composition shows off most of the aspects of any single match the best; the game itself in its core is very low-stakes and casual in comparison to modern FPS fads, be it battleroyales or extract shooters in the other end of the spectrum, the Arena Shooter is inherently extremely laid back. And although it excels as a laid-back deathmatch, the overemphasis on ranked play at least in the streamers' side eventually drove the game to becoming a month-long fad.
As Shroud said, if this were released in a particular time where people wanted Arena Shooters, it could've seen a lot more mainstream attention, however, as a big fan of embark and player who pays a lot of attention to the inner workings of the game, I believe this game has the core game design, direction and standards good enough to, as another commenter said, age like fine wine.

Agreed, i always thought the respawn timer has a lot to do with it, maybe the lack of achievements to go for like camo grinds, or even attachments. People want a game they can enjoy and grind at the same time. A fun game isn’t enough for most anymore.
(Ex. Cod: People criticize for the lack of fun they have but then still grind the camos.)

The Finals is the best FPS game and idk what happened to shroud... Also when you have people who like fps games having brain rot from COD/Valorant its hard to rewire their brain into playing something else. The Finals have everything great FPS game needs and it is a great fps game.
We just gotta keep playing and supporting the game until the day that it does really blow up, and hopefully we can keep it going until then. I just hate it when good games struggle to stay afloat because they just didn't catch on (Spellbreak is my most recent thought) so I hope The Finals can stick around for the future.
Funny that Embark are chasing the extraction shooter fad with arc raiders but had so much fun demoing the Finals prototype that they rolled with it. It's genuinely fun and they wanted to share it with the world, but it's not what everyone wanted. I feel like at this point we're just waiting for other games to fuck up to pick up their pieces. After seeing the latest community update video I'm optimistic but like with every live service game time will tell. Hope to see everyone in S3.

Season 3 is going to be great. They are clearly playing their cards in the best way they possibly could. Working on making cashout the best it can be with World Tour, and refining TA.
Focusing on refining modes to make them as good as possible through things like world tour and ranked TA could be super crucial to having a flourishing future
These are some of the reasons new players quit the finals before getting hooked.
For starters, unlocking stuff is very time consuming, most new players that dip into the game will likely never get to use a vast majority of the equipment since the time investment required to unlock it is too much, what if they grind to get enough vrs to buy a gun, try it and it's shit, while they see their teammates running around with better weapons? they quit and done.
Then you have the new player learning curve for cashout and quickcash. They get confusing feedback from playing ranked and quickplay which makes it harder to understand what's happening and since kills don't affect the outcome in a major way it also doesn't carry over any knowledge from previous games.
You also have the character appearance. Out of all the faces they give at the start, only the chinese woman is attractive, the black woman is ok, the rest are outright bad. There no male face that's good, the black man may be a bit passable but not much.
Also the bodytypes of the characters. Female builds are too flat and don't have clearly overt characteristics and males are not more muscular. Changes are too subtle in my opinion and it results in significantly unatractive "contestants".
Then finally, weapons have increasingly gotten less effective over time when compared to the OB. The policy of nerfing weapons and gadgets constantly has downgraded the effective feel of weapons and worsens the player experience. And nerfing weapons by increasing recoil pattern difficulty is a very bad way to balance, since it punished new and lower skilled players that don't train aiming while sparing anybody that puts some time into learning it.
Those would be some reasons that have likely contributed to people dropping this masterpiece of a game we got. It's sad to see it's current state and I will keep filling my daily hopium canister every morning hoping for the game to take off again but oh well. I've been playing nische shooters ever since Tribes ascend and dirty bomb back in the day so...
I needed this game honestly my primary games are fps games and this game is the most unique its the most polished game ive played in a while its the first time in a long time ive actually enjoyed playing a video game

I feel as though it could come off as desperate, i think the issue is that the fps community doesnt want anything new despite their crying for it. they already had the chance with titanfall 2 and the finals but they always circle back to what theyve been hooked on for years as well as what all their friends are probably hooked on.

I have the same feeling with season 3 trailer. It has all right elements but it’s just too idk… quiet? Sponsors theme is massively underused. Same with AI announcers. Even main menu was blant and stagnant for most of season 2.
I feel like The Finals needs to overstimulate players from aesthetic/vibe point and it’s just too normal.
They need a casual mode with big teams like a battlefield. When you have small teams you feel lots of pressure and can't relax. As a new player or a casual you will enter a game and just get walked over and quit. The movement, destruction, and gunplay for the finals is some of the best on the market.
I feel like the game's popularity has been fine, it's not the most well-known game but it only cam out a year so.... Also, I enjoy the game itself personally, it have some interesting mechanics and stuff to play with. But i think the main problem with the finals is that some gamers may be putting too much expectations on those fps game, so people starts quitting I guess

Shroud didn't like the game from the beginning. His opinion is worthless. he said the shooting and movement felt BAD... two of the greatest aspects of the game. He changes his mind about the game every time it comes up. It's really irritating.
Yeah Palworld/Helldivers took all the players who just want to mindlessly play a fun, chaotic and trending game (nothing wrong with that)
And for the competitive kind, games like Apex and Valorant are solidified. The majority of these players have already spent hundreds on skins and cosmetics, as well as countless hours grinding, so to come to a game that "might die" is a HUGE risk.
It's ultimately the reason I think people are constantly blathering on about how the game is "dead" already, because these players are kinda all or nothing. They either:
(a) make the full transition over to The Finals, abandoning their previous game
(b) ignore The Finals and pray on its downfall so the game they are currently playing grows in popularity, and the grind they put into it is more impressive.
I hate to admit it but I think the only way The Finals "blows up" so to speak, is if one or two of these games really mess up or die completely. Not saying that The Finals doesn't deserve the popularity, It's a really fresh and well thought out FPS experience with cool concepts, It's just there are lots of people who aren't even giving the game a chance.
I think one of the issues is just that game players dont want to give it a chance. With the average player mainly playing fucking warzone and cod as their shooter game, they just don't know about The Finals. All they know is CoD.
The Finals is such a much better, much well-rounded game, with it having absolutely beautiful graphics at only around 30 GB of storage compared to CoDs nearly 200GB storage for graphics that get turned all the way fown for FPS gain and visibility, reasonably priced cosmetics, freedom to dress your character how you want, with different pieces of clothing, the weapon skins are artistic and unique, especially for the price, the battlepass is amazing every time, i find myself using every item because there are no bad ones. In CoD, you have weapon blueprints that wont matter once you unlock mastery camos, in some other games a battle pass weapon skin is just a JPEG put over the weapon model.
The Finals has that capability of becoming the next Fortnite in my opinion, where EVERYONE knows about it, where it becomes a household name that even the parents know about, where its talked about EVERYWHERE. I PRAY that The Finals gets the recognition it deserves.

During WW2, a small village near the ocean in Japan was about to be attacked by an enemy ship via rockets etc. All villagers gathered together in a Temple and just prayed together, that they will remain unharmed. Just a few minutes later a big storm happened and eventually sunk the enemies ship. Just like in that story, we have to hope and believe in the succesion of The Finals. In every great story is faith a big factor in a plot twist. Goodnight.

Idk I feel this is a pretty solid take tbh and I agree with it in a sense but bad timeing was not the result because I mean this last year we came off a really middle of the road cod migration were the devs just couldn't keep the game in mind for the casuals and competivite players me being one of them had like many others left as the cycle Is and then Xdefiant not soon after with a rather small beta that people loved then we had this big pause of man I wish I had something awesome to play in this pause while we wait and that's when this game stepped into the arena like it could of not have been perfect to try to swoop in and try to grab as many players as they could truely it wasn't about the timeing I think. I just think it was the fact most gamers are spoiled by daily shop with new content each week on a bigger scale than the last and 3 or 4 small bundles and updates in games where updates come weekly and massive amounts of content hold a weight like 4 new weapons were added like prime example is fortnite back in chapter 1 haveing a solid update of new content a new gadget or weapon each week constant patch notes weekly map changes and item shop events,modes anything u can think of it was done in minutes to weeks but it was almost always consistent and out while the trends where lively and they managed to keep the player base because players had a reason to get on every week if the finals had idk something more unique with its shop or pass maybe even something gameplay wise that gamer haven't seen or experienced before it would of stuck alot better with players that's likely the reason it slipped so far down and this comes from a finals fan with 500 hours and has played closed beta so to say I love this game is an understatement and if this game fails idk what hope I have for FPS if this fails I just feel these other games held a weight CSGO a legacy icon in the scene fortnite a pioneer and invented the battle pass pubg the first major game that pushed the BR genre into the light alot and what we got was a cod like game with battlefield destruction witch isnt anything inventive I would love to believe this game had bad timeing and I disagree I think its great it's more of a long term investment and waiting for new maps to play more weapons more content to draw players in isnt a grand strategy for staying afloat in the game industry as of today especially after the microsoft situation but I'm hopeing that the long term goal is well long term and maybe they keep the game in a committed cycle where it has time to blossom and grow and maybe we see more players come into the game into the future and have a great time and stick to makeing loyal fans I'm sorry this was a bit long but a worthy write to explain how I feel on the situation and hopefully u all think its actually a valid take would love to play with people if your Intrested as well if so hit me up ❤
Honestly the one standout moment where I was like "ehhh not so sure about this game..." was C4 + carriable nuke.
It very quickly turned meta to just run around as a heavy with 2 C4 strapped onto a poison barrel instead of actually shooting people and it just took way too long to nerf correctly.
On top of that there was the double whammy effect of cheaters using that keyboard into controller spoofing exploit which ruined a lot of lobbies for me personally.
I still play The Finals; I think it's awesome. People need a reason to give it another shot though.
Saw him playing Power Shift today, kept complaining about shields and heals while running Mesh Revolver while chat constantly kept telling him to use glitch nades or barrels.
He either read it and completely ignored it or he chose to ignore chat for the entire match while complaining all the way through

I think the biggest reason for the distaste for the finals is that there IS NO reason, people are just so used to the games they have before and have found a type of gaming that they just like, and that's fine. It is OK to not like The Finals, the problem starts when they don't realize their own preference of genre and project their unfounded hatred onto others, and tend to just go with the wind because they don't really have any other excuse, "everyone else hates it so it must be bad, dead game." If the game picks up steam in the future, many of these people may just change their minds.
In my personal opinion, I have never played a game I enjoy more than this in my entire life. I find it hard even headache inducing to play FPS titles, but that's just me. I joke about COD players being boring, but if they like it, then more power to them, but I would never force someone to like this game if they don't like it, its always personal preference.

I honestly think the biggest issue is the weapons for most people. The iron sights on a lot of weapons are trash combined with recoil. I know skill issue, but I’m just saying the best options are FCAR and MP5 strictly because they have short range optics.

Being good just isnt good enough anymore sadly. Hyperscape is a game i thought was amazing but that died i really hope the finals doesnt suffer the same fate. I think licensed characters could help
The game's not fun because every match is full of only full-auto weapons. We have SO many fun and interesting weapons yet everyone uses only full-autos, why? Because they have roughly the same time to kill (TTK) as other weapons but they're INCREDIBLY versatile, able to be used in close range, medium range they excel at, and some have very strong long range damage as well.
If this game removed all the full-auto weapons it would immediately become 2x times more interesting with tons of new strategies popping up.
Season 3 Hype!
Here’s a few problems 1: shroud and others big streamers get paid big money to play certain games don’t think they don’t . These are contract level deals.
2: gamers rather be ok in the games they already know …example COD… point and shoot …most ppl won’t jump into a game they’ll be crapped on
3: hive mentality, “my fav TH-camr/streamer says they don’t like this game I also don’t like it”
Shroud is exactly right, but I think it's just one aspect of the explanation and not mutually exclusive to others. For instance, I've had a theory for a while that the game is just too "high stakes," and thus too stressful and exhausting, for the average gamer. High stakes mean way higher highs (which is why I keep coming back), but I suspect it also leads to lower lows. Just a theory. If that is part of the reason, along with reasons like the one Shroud highlights, the solution seems pretty easy. A game mode that inherently feels lower stakes in each moment (EDIT: Extending TA to best of 13 might actually help with this some). Anyway, I should be able to control my emotions and just play "for fun," but if lots of other players have the problem I have, they can't even play the casual modes without getting amped up eventually. Maybe you guys can tell me whether I'm more the exception than the norm?
the problem is theres too many fps games out on the market rn. XDefiant, COD, Fortnite, Valorant, CSGO, (overwatch?), TF2, Siege, theres just too many. thats why hienas shut down, though i am sad to see it go that game was fire
The FINALS is the bomb, its so so good and hopefully like people said below itll age like fine wine. But its seriously the best and most fun FPS ive played in like ever? Its also the most difficult, which i appreciate, and the most manic, which is great to blow off some steam with, and its so so clever, and i like tricking opponents and being tricked. And it looks fantastic and has some of the slickets cosmetics ive seen.
If someone like jinxy started grinding this game and pumping out content it could prolly alter its path dramatically for the better. It seems to me to be a fun, solid, refreshing game. I think lotta the hate is unnecessary and just people going against the opinions of the cult like following that is the finals fanbase lol. But a strong small passionate community is extremely valuable and a great opportunity for the devs to do the best they can to make the game even better. Also making the ranked system better and more rewarding would prolly help, just a thought. Siege would have died years ago if not for its passionate community. The finals is fresh and I think it will end up having much higher numbers than it does now down the road. The team behind it seem like they are are listening to the players which is leaps ahead of other competitors.
My game keeps stuttering, and I don't know why. I have a 3060 Ti and have set everything to low, getting at least 90 FPS, but it's still lagging badly since Season 3. What can I do to fix this?
I like the finals but there’s not enough new content during the season to keep me for the whole season and also I don’t think new seasons have enough content
The Finals is the best game since Apex at launch and Apex has gradually gotten worse. Finals never loses my interest, it’s just so fun, the most fun I’ve had in an online game in a long time. The cosmetics are the greatest too. In my opinion, it plays better than Apex too and the destructive environments just add such a great element to fights. It’s impossible for this game to be called “not fun”… it’s so fun, so well made and anyone complaining: skill issue.
The finals is an enigma. The game has everything you could want and IS fun when it’s fun. But very not fun when it’s not. I think cheesy comps can make the game very not fun. Like 3 mediums with mines everywhere and 3 turrets. Or two heavy being healed by a one medium. They’ve made some balance changes to help. But going against certain stuff isn’t fun and every weapon doesn’t feel viable. Like having a sniper on a light class and nothing else sucks when the whole enemy team pushes you close. I think you should be allowed to carry two weapons.
The Finals came out after the mediocre Battlefield 2042 which was the best timing ever. Both game have something that gamers would expect, destruction and Embark delivers the physics very well.
Needs more more more maps. More variety gamemodes. More sense of “commotion going on”

I love that the story of the game is faceless contestants, the 2 announcers, anonymous ai holding it all together, CNS and sponsors. We don’t need main characters like tf2 or overwatch
But with all those characters, we really get no lore. Less lore than dark souls

Before i get to my main point the finals has more interaction on x etc that xdefiant wich doesnt boat well for xdefiant its normal for a games playerbase to drop in players. Se wiöl happen with xdefiant if it already hasnt happened. Secondly we know finals is mostly console based on dev comments and if i remember correctly 300-400k daily player count at its lowest isnt bad its above average.The game needs marketing wich they started doing these season. The more you see of a game the more you think about it etc. Thw start of the fknals is sadly peetty similar to rogue company we have a great excample there how to save the game and what not to do if you want it to fail. Perception matters a lot thats why steam charts might be more harmful that useful in cases like these. Bad pc port whilst mostly clnsole players, low steam charts =bad perception
I have forced almost all my friends to play this game and they were pretty excited when they first started out. Then it became stale for them due to how much chaotic the game became. Its too much they can’t understand whats going on and always gets killed by someone third partying.
Its funny but also highlights probably the biggest reason the game didn’t took off. Its too much happening at the same time. I always tell them that its ok to die you can always respawn but I guess dying for them is too punishable.
Thats why I believe TA is at the very least a much more manageable game mode that most people could play. I just wish they would let people play it casually first before jump into ranked.
There were honestly no valid points made in the video, not one point was made. When are people going to stop letting “pro gamers” and “influencers” tell them how to think about games. It’s simple, play games if you enjoy a game, keep playing. If you do not enjoy a game, stop playing the game, but let it be your reason to stop playing instead of a gamer with a couple million followers tell you what’s wrong with the game.
ever since the beta the main thing that made me stop playing was the movement, I just didn't like the way it felt kinda unresponsive, I don't know when but it seems they changed that and it feels much better now, the only thing now is fps, for some reason I can't get the game to run above like 50ish fps, might be a cpu thing cause I have a pretty old cpu and my gpu since to hold up well, it's kind of a shame cause it feels so good when I'm playing in the firing range with 100+ fps
the main detriment of The Finals is being similar to Battlefield despite being an arena shooter - Battlefield is the least popular it’s ever been, so when people hear the comparison, I imagine they’re completely turned off - it sucks because The Finals has crazy potential but like Shroud said: gaming goes through fads, and hating Battlefield is one of the biggest fads in gaming atm
Alright my opinion about "The Finals" i feel like it's not rewarding enough for me thus i enjoy playing it. They should give out a "grind" reason to play the game. For example some people care about cosmetics so if there was a good way to earn free cosmetics by playing that would bring some people on. Also the game itself isn't for everyone cause it has a good skill cap and someone needs to play a lot to get good. Now you might say that same goes with almost every competitive game like Valorant but the thing is Finals is a very unique game that mixes a lot of new things that players aren't used to. Another reason i believe is that content available isn't compelling to most players, thus season 3 might work well cause many people enjoy japanese culture. The game is still new and has a lot of potential, i do believe that will eventually get the attention it needs but like in 4-5 years when the game will have too much content for a new player to get along with. Give the game some time and let the devs "cook" and also needs a bit more advertising not many people know about this game.
I’m just sad about cash out being gone. There’s no longer a 3v3v3v3 mode, which was all I ever played if I wanted to have fun. Sure, I guess change the comp mode, but why get rid of both?
most people clash the game only because they're not good at it, despite the fact that the aimiste silk is too strong on controller it's clearly a game based on placement / movement so bad for children controller, or children keyboard mouse who just want to launch a game for fun.
And since the studio wants to please everyone, we good players get nerfed on weapons/equipment to narrow the gap... which sometimes makes the game too average...
I love everything about season 3 except the new ranked TA. In my opinion its just way to slow of a game mode for a game that was built on a speedy first come first served 3rd partying meta kinda game thats why quick cash was its primary mode and game. Add the speed plus the destruction and the abilities that make winning fights 1 sided this game was never made with the intention of a SnD kinda game mode. I think its a big step in the downhill for this game bc so many games have started out as something different and fell into this same type of game mode and then soon after became a dead game and i cant help but to think that this game mode will backfire and hurt the game unless they stay a non competitive game but i cant see them ever getting into esports now they had something unique and new then quickly switched to what almost all games are now and esports already have enough games like what the finals are tying to become with this TA gamemode. But before any body says anything this is just my opinion and i am not saying the finals is bad or anything i am just saying its turning into games we already have CSGO, Overwatch, XDefiant, valorant, Paladins, etc ( lots of other smaller games) and i dont mind the finals taking a stab at this gamemode and keeping it in there game but making it there main focus and making it the games competitive scene and basically making it the face game mode of the game i think is a fairly bad idea but hey it might turn out great i just want this game to succeed and land in a stable spot.
I also have no idea why the player numbers have dropped other than people must be playing a different version of the game to me? It's been a brilliant breath of fresh air where no game plays the same twice even on the same map and mode and all 3 classes play so different I switch between them all the time. To me it's simply the best FPS going, but people want to stick with the stale games like COD and just moan rather than try something new and innovative
I think it is timing. Right now, at least for me, im at point where the fps genre is just getting exhausting. Ive been looking more forward to 3rd person story games, like the elden ring dlc or gta6. I want to love this game, and i do, but its just a time where i want to take a break from them. (Sound like a break up lol)

Plus in pvp fps are a lot more important
i love the finals, having so much fun in the game. Maybe they need some standard game modes like domination or capture the flag - could be rly fun with the destruction. And maybe at some time add some weapon customisation. I dont know what there Plans are for the future but maybe do a survey and find out what the playerbase wants or player who arent playing what they wana see so they come back. Lets see what the future brings
There’s this weird skill gap for people who approach the game and there’s a lot of nuance compared to other fps games. It’s not run and gun and it’s not a BR so people don’t understand how to approach it. Also realistically speaking you do need to be open minded and not get mad about losing when you start. I’m lucky I played day one and now I’m pretty good and have a decent understanding but it takes time.
The Finals is fun. People call it "boring" and everybody repeats it like NPCs. We call it "epidemic hysteria or mass hysteria" there is a mass psychogenic illness. Embark needs to dispel this bad belief.
i love the finals, but my pc is so ass that i powered through season1 with average 50fps~. not helping that the optimal setting wants you to have rtx on.
just like apex, might get addicted few years after i get new hardware. and then people will naturally follow after they get their new hardware too.

make everything feel lest stiff movement feels slow and useless unless your usefing the jump pad
aiming feels janky with the cross hair on the gun not shooting were the cross hair is not rewardfing to players

The Finals marketing was also non existant. They were entitely relying on streamers and tubers whike having THE WORST promo video ive ever seen on the steam store.
I feel like people dont like the class system, if the game was a hero ability shooter with swappable gun/equipment window it probably would perform much better
I would love to see more tournaments, and its on its way. Then add some big numbers of price money. And a CS-like spectator tool for the tounaments ✅
personally they just half ass what direction they want to go so they dont get the top of anything group. they need to go hardcore competitive or hardcore casual. if they do this then better players will come to create better metas or if they take it the casual route then better streamers would come. tbh doesnt matter if its overwatch or anything tanks ruin games and the excitement they can bring for highlight videos to bring more people in

I feel like it’s the amount of annoying things in the game things like cloak. Cloak is one of dose things that’s annoying to use and play against and I play lite. turrets are also really annoying and so is the amount of shields heavy has how is it fair that he can shoot me but I can’t shoot him
