- Hello my fellow NSMBW enjoyers, here's a new level for you !
I have seen a lot of people asking where 1-5 was, here's the reason: On the Worldmap, there is a fork that allows me to get to 1-5 or 1-6. I don't plan on doing every level right now, so I chose to go to 1-6 in order to go to the castle.
This level was pretty easy to do. No special tricks, no difficult sections, I think it's the easiest level so far.
In fact, I have so little to say, that this description is already almost over !

1:26 the way luigi comes up from the pit only to go straight back in at an incredible velocity is just so funny to me for some reason
Luigi saw the pit known as genshin impact within that hole

They tryna upgrade cardio while on their jump less adventure
I liked the part where the toads ran on the rolling circles like a hamster wheel
But, these rolling hills are convex, whereas hamster wheels are concave.

I feel like this level was less confusing to tas and more just annoying to tas due to the rolling hills. Nice job!

My favouritw part about this challenge is that it requires the four player to actually teamwork
That's why it is a TAS. A real-game can't happen as everyone would try to do it alone
yah if 4 friends did it, it would take like YEARS if not DECADES.

I love these videos. it has me asking myself how far you could go in the next level jumpless. I know TASses take a lot of time and work so I'm thankful for you doing these videos, keep up the good work
You know the best part about those videos? I totally lore. The power of the toad keeps increasing, they are about to win against the bad and evil peach (bowser is not the vilain, he is nice)

i always liked how this level just sort of, existed. it looks like a harder continuation of 1-1, taking the rolling hills and expanding upon them to make them most of the terrain, and in a lot of ways it is but it’s the little things that it introduces into the game like jumping paratroopas and goomba spawners, not to mention being the first level where fire flowers are your main powerup
Your consistent effort in making these is very enviable
Man, for some reason this one just hit me with nostalgia... I used to play this game with friends during my childhood, it was a real challenge for us back then^^ I still remember how we had fights about who'd get the best item from the ones that come out of the ?-blocks :')
That was almost 10 years ago now... at some point I lend my copy of NSMBW to a friend so he could play it at home... never got it back^^'
It's been ages, he was one of my best friends... haven't seen him in 8 years... these days I don't have anybody to play games with anymore so eventually I stopped playing all together... I'm getting melancholic thinking about this... but I hope one day I'll have a chance to play through all the games of my childhood again, together with someone who perhaps shares my nostalgia for them...
There's a service called Parsec that allows you to connect to someone else's computer to play couch multiplayer. I know it isn't quite the same thing, but people tend to play NSMBW on there from time to time. Perhaps that's a way you can get back in the groove?
These are so addicting I look forward to every new one

i'm used to seeing people jump out of sliding, so although i've seen way too many jumpless videos, this got me to double take every other second because i forget you can just cancel slides.
Wow that trick at the end was insane
ngl id love if these were commentated/annotated, this level atleast was pretty straightforward but for some of the other levels some of the decisions seem rather odd. totally understand if it’d be too much work tho, fantastic vids, cant wait for the next one regardless

i think if you coordinated your hands and feet enough you could do it
@@overcooked2808 2-4 real people maybe. either one for each character, or if lack of willing friends is an issue you and person 2 can play with their feet as well

lol at this point 1-6 just became by far the simplest level of the series which is kinda funny

There's a fork in the world map, the other level is 1-5, but I decided to take the route that goes to 1-6

I got a question, so these are tool assisted runs right? So, how do you predict the movement of bubbles, is it not random?
I'm starting to like the sped up music now...anyway, I find it amazing how you manage to always find your way to the exit and still not jumping (except last level) great work!

At this point it seems like they are trying to train their skulls to be as strong as titanium so they can just headbutt the bosses to death with how much they jump on each other
Would it have been possible to use the yellow toad to clear the jump at the end of the level?
0:58 the bounces are perfectly in time with the bahs.

If the rules are no 2 button, how do you get the high bounces off of the other players?
I bounce on a player that is bouncing on another player. This way, the game gives a higher bounce than normal

Since this time you put the rules, I'll ask it: why no shaking, even when they are inside bubbles?
Banning inputs is much more common for these sorts of challenges than banning specific actions. It's the same reason the folks doing Super Mario 64's A Button Challenge don't have exceptions like "pressing A to fire a cannon doesn't count because it's not a jump".
I really wonder after what point the levels actually start getting impossible
1-tower is impossible (at the moment)
