Love your channel. Nothing you do is boring. I'm elderly and have done many of the things you do but can't anymore. So when I see you stack bales, throw flakes, scoop grain, make mash, muck stalls, pick paddocks and stomp on the ice in water troughs I smile. I miss those days. Know that watching your hard work and the kindness you give your horses brings people joy, for it's ALL for the love of an animal. Thank You

One thing I like with TH-cam videos is if the person has a good speaking voice. I’ve watched some videos that I’ve had to click out of because the person’s voice is irritating. Your voice is nice.

So the thing I like best about your videos is that your focus is on the horses and the story and not getting your face in front of an audience. So refreshing when the majority of people approach life from the “me,me,me” standpoint. Well done!

So, I want to share my opinion: I think that your voice and narration of your videos is also a positive factor. I grew up listening a lot of radio, I still love listening to radio when I am cooking, or shopping, etc, so people that have a nice story telling skill and a nice pleasant voice, draws me in.
As for the haters, the good thing is that, their comments also boost your views. So, it's kinda ironic that they post their trashy comments on your videos, and they are helping the TH-cam algorithm to reach even more viewers...

I am 73 years old with cancer. During my life, I had little or no experience with horses. At my age I am interested in learning new things. I feel that to stop learning is a death sentence. I appreciate what you do. Even the ordinary things. You provide little or no drama. The world has gone crazy. Thank you for what you do!

I started watching because of a short, which led me to your channel. I quickly subscribed after watching a couple of your videos. For me, you're a natural storyteller and you have some kind of magic sauce that ties it all together. I have better things to do but I’m somehow enchanted watching you do farm chores (yes, we like the boring stuff). I used to have horses and currently have no pets so watching is therapeutic memory for me.
It’s your compassion and great respect of a horse’s right to be a horse and to shine, especially after being treated poorly. It’s the fact that you bought a starving pony at an auction and paid vet bills so he could eat again because it’s the right thing to do. If I ever need a good cry I watch that video of Nigel or think of all the horses you can’t rehab. This platform is a double edged sword as I'm sure you're aware. Follow your heart and we’ll follow you wherever you go. ♥

Congratulations on reaching a milestone. How can anyone find something negative to say about your channel? Maybe they have never heard a horse softly whinny when you enter the barn or felt the soft velvety touch of a horse's nose against your cheek. Some people are just sad. Ignore them. ❤

Your genuine love of horses and their well-being (above your own at times) is obvious and makes for a much more profound, watchable experience than the many young women / girls (in the UK at least) with their posh ponies their parents have bought and the endless, endless stuff they’re always banging on about, trying to sell you half of it! The fact you don’t shove sponsored stuff down our throats is appreciated (but if you do get sponsors that’s fine too - we understand, it’s for the ponies sakes!).
Plus, you have scenery and weather I find fascinating, a great cat, a very soothing voice and a work ethic seldom seen.
Personally I don’t mind seeing less auctions - I quite enjoyed the videos of them you’ve done because I knew you were going to help the horses you could, but honestly they were a bit stressful because we all know there’s many there you can’t help.

I am disabled and your videos allow me to enjoy the day to day chores of taking care of horses. It has been a while since I have had horses and I will not get the chance to do so again, so your vlog style videos are great. I also enjoy thrifting, so your videos with you showing how you can afford your horses are also great. Keep up the awesome work and God bless your efforts. I think it is great that your channel is growing well. Have a blessed end of the week.

Very interesting, never boring. You keep the narrative organized and not rambling, which is good. Whats different about your channel is that you don’t focus on you, but on the horses, you’re almost anonymous, which is consistent with your story. both visually and topically. And it works because your storytelling is strong. Really authentic content, so satisfying. One video i loved was about how you buy used clothing and sell it, and you explained the process. I love episodes about particular horses and what you are doing to develop that one. I liked the barn flooding story with the trench building. So clearly just love the variety of your daily life. You’re really hard working which i appreciate. I wish you continued success.

You're down to earth with a comfortable come have coffee with the horses and I.😊

Basically, we're just people who find solace and joy in the presence of horses. There's something truly therapeutic about being around these magnificent creatures and everything involved in their care! It's not about seeking anything more than a chance to escape our minds and for some our bodies, for a short while. Hopefully, this perspective sheds light on the fact that we don't need much to keep watching. Sometimes, all it takes is a moment around these beautiful animals to lift our spirits and fill our hearts! 🐴🍎

I am among those who were drawn to your chanel via the shorts. Now I could say: I love horses, I love mountains, and for several reasons, I have none of that in my life and probably never will. So what more is there to ask?
But what really made me stay was your sensitive, reasonable, no nonsense approach to life and also way you educate your non-horsefolk viewers like myself about things.

I love your channel and when I was in my teens we lived on a cattle ranch for a short time. I loved walking through the fields. I had a horse off and on. Your channel is "real" and this is what makes it special. As I get to know the backstory on your horses, it is so much more interesting. At first I was drawn to Scarlet and the daily halter breaking was really interesting to me. The entire process. Then Stewy caught my interest and then Skeletor. Thank you Clever Cowgirl.

Let me share some observations I've had as a retired woman, who---while still quite active with this, that, and the other, watches A LOT of TH-cam (lol!). I love this video of you sharing tips, #1, and I've had the pleasure of watching your channel grow for the last 8 months or so, whenever you popped up in my newsfeed. I have been watching various "horse video" creators for about 3 to 4 years now. What I love about your channel is that there are no politics (that I can pick up anyway), the animals are always going to be appealing, fun, or even inspiring, you have a pleasant voice to listen to, as well. Believe me, if a channel is put out by someone with a consistently horrible tonal quality to their voice, I won't watch. Also, Montana is actually a kind of exotic Western State for a lot of us who do not have gigantic mountains on our horizons, nor do we have to deal with 50-below-zero temperatures! And yeah, I LOVE your Auction Videos. It's a bummer they won't let you keep on filming there. But, Keep Going! Keep up the great growth and learning! (I can't even deal with a mobile phone, so your journey of learning how to film and edit, etc. is very cool to this ol' Grandma)

The real boring, is what is real. A look into what is really involved in all of this and that - the real stuff. The haters, you need to just pass those by, do not give those any spare time. For me I’m pushing 75 have worked very hard in all kinds of weather, have lived all over the West and I just love the everyday down and dirty. It is easy to step into your life. I miss seeing Huckleberry, how silly is that. Stay with what makes you - you. What has built your following. Understand the sale lots/barns position, others have ruined it for people such as yourself.

I'm not naive, but still--it stuns me that you have any detractors. Your YT is just the Best--no matter the topic. Interesting to learn these 'secrets'. I understand now certain things are 'off limits' in what you can record. I have learned so much and enjoyed all of it---whether looking at tack sales & explaining saddle construction; or, you reaching into a winter trough(!?!), to check a heater device. Similarly, the horses' behaviors & idiosyncrasies---your manner of accepting them & just finding meeting them where they are--is inspirational. TY

Now if I could just get a t shirt with Nigel, Scarlet, Skeletor, Primrose and the others. I haven’t even looked to see if you have merch.

I think many folks love to watch farm chores, the horses, the barn, the sales, all of it. If you love horses but don't have them it's like a window into how it would be. I do all the same chores every day with my horse's and chickens!!! And I still enjoy your videos!
I miss going to the sales and auctions so it's cool to see what's happening now.

I subscribed back when your content was the lovely Miss Scarlet’s training journey & the auction content. I’m not an auction content person tbh but I loved your voice, calm sensible outlook and was curious! I’m so glad you’re here, still making vids and exploring new content. I adore the “boring” stuff as you put it! Ha! 😊❤ Also love getting to know the horse’s names and stories and the diff care routines. Grew up taking care of a barn full so I love seeing this again. Also Tiny! Basically the footage at the end of this vid - the still camera showing you caring for beautiful Primrose while Tiny wanders around…. If you added the natural sounds & took out the stock background music…. Awwww I’d be in horse heaven! 😊 So so grateful for you & your lovely channel. Keep up the good work & keep on experimenting. And thank you for sharing your beautiful life ❤

You know I've been watching your videos now for some time. There are several other channels that show horses, their lives and what goes on helping, training and giving some of their horses back the life GOD created them for. Most claim they didn't start their channel to make money and certainly never thought of becoming wealthy with it. Most started a channel to perhaps educate others and show the world of their love for that particular breed of animal... ie horses, dogs, big cats and so on. Most people really do care about animals and would love to be able to do some of the same things, but can't for whatever reason. It's one thing to have a dog or cat in your home, but multiple horses is quite another. Taking care of as many as you do is a lifestyle, not a hobby 😊😊. I have always enjoyed watching horse videos of people who know how to care and train them. Watching you take a horse like Scarlett, or Stewy, or Skeletor and give them back their health and life is a blessing to those of us that can't or don't have the means or knowledge to do the same and I am one of these people. I've watched other channels that are relatively young and small grow at a nice steady clip. They all have started their channel to just share their love of what they do. One fellow and he's not a horse person, in particular kind of said he was wondering why his channel wasn't growing as fast as others. I simply asked him one day WHY he started it. For money or to share content with others. He's closing in on 60K subscribers and has a nice steady growth. Folks like me follow you for what you share with us. You share for your love of your horses🐴🐴. We watch because you don't hide what really happens and just how difficult it can be at times doing what you do. Please don't worry about the nay sayers and those, like me, that have no real knowledge. I and others like me may ask silly questions at times, but it's only because we don't don't know and you take time to answer and even show on video. I know I admire you for what you do and yes, even sacrafice to take care of your horses. It can't be easy, but all good things take time. Don't change your content because the viewers you have and continue to get are like minded as you. We love your videos and your horses and look forward to the next. I know I do. Thanks for all you share and the difference you make in the lives of the horses that have come into your care yesterday, today and tomorrow. You ARE making a difference ❤❤❤. Ron

Every channel has the ridiculous trolls..not sure what is wrong with people who feel the need to be so awful..but like in life ..surround yourself with those that are supportive and ignore the rest. Negative comments really say everything about the people who are making them and not their targets. You work incredibly hard giving these lovely animals a second chance..so giant kuddos to you.

Thanks for clarifying why several of the horse auction videos were blurred out. I continued watching but really prefer your daily activity videos. I can watch you feeding and interacting with your horses all day long, they are not repetitive to me, I LOVE them!!! I only wish the horses out in the elements with the below zero temps, had a real barn to get into. I grew up in upstate New York on a dairy farm, and experienced outrageously cold temp, but always put our animals in a barn. Perhaps with more YT income and on your rented land, this may one day become a reality. I would contribute to a fund for you. God Bless. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK AND AWESOME VIDEOS!! WE LOVE YOU!!!!
PS I don't pay attention to your thumbnails and watch regardless because I know your videos will be worth watching!!!

Hello CC! Greetings from North Texas. Have been meaning to drop a note to say that I am thoroughly enjoying all of your videos. Can so relate to the work you do. I do it on a much smaller scale (3 horses - 2 minis and 1 full size) and at a milder winter temperature than you do. It is not easy even then sometimes, especially when you are solo with little to no help, you have to power through many days. It is nice to know I am not the only solo equine caregiver out there morning, midday and evening, busting barn chores and keeping everyone cozy and healthy. Love your channel, please keep up the great videos of yourself at work and cool shopping/auction trips. It helps us from getting burned out! 😅 Cheers and much health to your back! and your many rescues! Stay safe. 🍀❣️P.S. Congrats on 35,000!

Thank you for another great video! It was really interesting to go through the story of your process. The big tip that you didn’t mention - maybe because it wouldn’t have occurred to you - is to be authentic. Not something you can teach or fake. I watched your first video within hours of you posting it and immediately gave it a « like ».
I love horses, (but I don’t ride nor own one) and I love your way of approaching them. I’m also one of those people who enjoy the « boring » stuff, the authentic drudgery of doing day by day what needs to be done. Your tips about how to be a TH-camr were really good, I thought, (I have no desire to do this myself), but what makes your videos so watchable is the way you find depth, meaning, beauty, fulfilment and love through the daily grind of working with your horses. What you do is not glamorous but it is beautiful even in the harsh pain of the winter blast. Please keep doing what you do. Very best wishes.

My favorite part of all your videos was the story of the horse you bought while drunk. 😂 Love Scarlet’s story and everyday life with the horses. And of course Tiny❤. Congratulations on your 35,000+ subscribers! I love all your videos. I look forward to a new one everyday. But if you haven't posted for a while l go back and view ones I've already watched. You have such interesting content hearing about the horses DNA testing. You have a great mind and thought process. When l compare how l have thought about caring for my cats it reminds me that you do that for your horses. Then l think of all the investigating and nutrition and vet care and handling their issues and problems it reminds me of horses too. My herd of 5 cats has had its challenges too! Some dont get along. They have their zoomies. One yowls at times and ive been playing with her more. She loves to play. She gets so into it and no more yowling. I showed my Dr some of your videos. He has horses. When he saw Skeletor take to that ball and play and retrieve it he said now thats quite an animal to have! Says his horses dont do that, kinda boring he said.
Keep up the great work you do. And I am not bored with your routines. Watching your videos is like reading a good book and you imagine yourself in the story. The sound of the crunching snow, beautiful Montana mountains, new green flakes for horses. I was fascinated seeing the clever work you have done with your hay tower and all. My Dr said: you mean she doesn't have a barn for hay? Wow!..
