I'm still debating on whether to buy this game but honestly, if the co-op and the singleplayer are mediocre but the multiplayer is solid, 4/5 does not make any sense. You have to look at the game with all it's moving parts. You can't just give it a free pass by saying,"oh we expect all the other modes to be terrible but multiplayer is great, so the game is great."
Right? That's so dumb. That kind of acceptance of mediocrity is something that should piss everyone off. If a part of a game is there, it should be reviewed, amazing how that applied to Destiny (a shit game that rightfully got shit reviews) but when CoD rolls around, "oh it's okay cuz CoD campaigns suck anyway." Dafuq is that!?
And the 5 star system simply isn't enough to properly rate a game considering how much content they have. A ten point system is far better and less generalized.

Then in that case, GTA v should be a 6/10. In GTA V, people only really play the online and campaign. Everything else you do, like minigames are thrown out the window. Which is good. People won't buy GTA V to play golf. And a game like cod, where people mostly play multi-player, should be looked at with a multi-player mind set. There was no one, NO ONE, that came to this review with the mindset of "Oh, I wonder If they will give the campaign a ten out of ten! It really is the best part of the game!" No one came here with that intention.

In all honesty, campaign is a bit better than it has been in the recent games, sure there is the linear routes and all, but how you approach it is totally changed and is refreshing to play it. Co-op mode is very similar to MW3 spec ops survival, bar a few more customisation such as what weapon class you want to use and an upgrade system using points you have earnt whilest playing in the co op match, its really nothing to rave about. Multiplayer i think they have done a good job, id say its just under black ops 1 multiplayer at the moment, tonnes of custimisation, the exo suit dash and hover is very well done, a change that people have been waiting for. Maps are quite small tbh, i think the largest map in the game would be similar to something like rundown in mw2. Much faster pace, and it takes a fair bit to be real familiar with how the game plays and how to control movements, 15 prestiges, 50 levels, quite easy to level up tbh, i think about 8hrs to prestige. Online seems much more harder then it has been recently, not a bad thing tho Overall, a nice change in the franchise, huge difference to ghosts, thank god! Id say pick this up if youre looking for a change, be more optimistic and open minded and the game is a blast. 7.5/10
Uplink sounds like Bombing Run from Unreal Tournament, so does dodging actually. Don't understand why people keep comparing it to Titanfall, it's nothing like it.
The fact that they didn't mention that zombies are coming in dlc kinda pissed me off. They ripped on the co-op mode, but it's clearly put in as a place holder till they could make zombies what they wanted it to be. Also momentum is not a new mode, it's a renamed version of War from World at War.
I was about to buy this after work, but no zombies and meh campaign and co-op have me skeptical now....but it would be the first COD I've bought since MW so I don't know.
Ppl are just not satisfied with anything nowadays at all. I love this game up and down. Campaign is amazing (especially on next gen) and multiplayer takes a new fast paced approach to the game. COD is the best shooter on the planet and the numbers don't lie. If you like the series get it.
i feel like the exo suit abilities really dont add much to the gameplay. its not like the maps all have been redesigned specifically for this addition. just bread and butter cod with a little jelly added.
I'd say a 3.5 out of 5, game's awesome, but you gotta give it needs room to improve, if they can perfect the boosts after they're perfect polishing of cod mechanics they'll be right on, but it's still a wonderful game hard to get off of

I didnt buy ghost however bought this as it looked similar to future soldier and I have to say i like it. The colours are slighty washed out so no new visuals but a good game.

I thought the campaign was excellent. Around 7 hours in length. Kevin Spacey delivers a villain I actually wanted to root for. Certainly a much better campaign than Ghosts or Blops 2
It amazes me how we as a consumer base are never satisfied anymore. No matter what changes a developer makes, it's always the "same ol' thing." I completely disagree with Kevin Spacey being another face, I felt his presence and the story was great.
I can honestly say that the issues with the story are unfounded. This is the first CoD game since Modern Warfare 3 I've actually returned to playing the campaign and I'm glad I did. It's the best campaign I've played on a CoD game.
remember these are Moderwarfare makers!, So Treyarch got Zombies, Ravensoft got Aliens, and Modern Warfare got Survival! Co-op! or did you just start playing Call of duty by Black ops2?
This game looks stunning, I didn't liked too much Ghost but this one looks promising, it's like destiny with steroids xD can't wait to play it when it gets downloaded

No, it has its weak areas but its still looks solid and has some great particle FX & Character models, they were aiming for 60 fps on consoles so you can't expect Crysis like visual fidelity.

We are assuming there's Zombie DLC since at the end of survival (when you unlock all the tiers) there's a zombie wave.
