In the LN when Ains showed up himself Renner was shocked and she felt that just the presence and intellect of Ains was insurmountable. She felt like he could see straight through her. She knew Albedo and others would be against Ains belittling himself by doing the "evil overlord act" and they would blame her for putting him in that position. His offhanded comments and her overthinking things, like always, led her to believe that Ains knew that she had held back, forgave her for it, but did the play in order to use up any goodwill she had earned up until that point and push her into a corner. It was at this point that Renner gave up any hope of manipulating Ains or slacking off and decided to commit her all fully to the service of Nazarick. Meanwhile Ains was panicking because he could barely hold the façade with Albedo and Demiurge. Now he has to deal with another at their level.

The princess song at the end of the episode is what I love about storytelling in anime vs novels. And the anime taking liberties like that bring a lot to a series.
"Primpcess did nothing wrong, she just made a deal when she had no choice and he used his evil magic to curse her! " Climb, while bedridden and at her mercy.
Ainz: gets the entire Re-Estize Kingdom, Razor Edge, Renners servitude... Renner: gets immortality and orphan boy Renner: "This has been the best trade deal in the history of trade deals, maybe ever"
Ainz receives: an eternal legend of annihilation and horror, so that everyone in the entire world knows the punishment for opposing him. Renner receives: a shiny boi. Renner: "Pfft. Those suckers got hussled so bad XD"
What Renner REALLY wanted, and which she attained, is freedom from the shackles of her noble obligations, which, in short, was to become the property of another noble, likely from a foreign nation that Re-Estize wanted to strengthen political relations with, via a forced marriage. She found everything about her obligations as the youngest princess detestable and hated her family and her nation for forcing it upon her simply because of her birth. Everything else she gained -- immortal life, eternal beauty, and her ignorant little pet -- are just added bonuses.
What a culmination of this character's story arc! Brilliant story-telling harking back to the gruesome roots of The Brothers' Grimm as you allude to! The "Full Disney Princess" was a masterful touch, for the ending too. Truly "magical"!
But it wasn't quite _Full_ Disney Princess, now was it? Real Disny Princesses sing about what they want; Renner sang after she already had everything she wanted.
Near the ending of the last episode, they showed various scenes where Princess Renner (now imp Renner) was passing information to Nazarick. You should explain some of those in more detail. Or how Demiurge and Albedo were speaking to each other about Renner. Demiurge was very excited, and Albedo wanted to see her too. Or when Renner meets Momon for the first time during the "Flames of Gehenna" mini arc. Or we can look at how she talked about Climb dying and being resurrected by Lakyus. You know women pick which clothes to wear. Renner has to pick which smile to use.

Remember that Renner's primary motivation was to escape her fate as the youngest princess: to be married off to some noble, likely from another nation that Re-Estize wanted to establish stronger political ties with. She detested this fate, and hated her nation and family for forcing it upon her simply because of her birth. But the deviously smart woman that she is knew that she could ask for more -- NEEDED to ask for more just to be taken seriously, so she went all-in on asking for everything that she could desire: eternal life, unfading beauty, access to the wealth of knowledge that Nazarick has to offer, and, of course, her precious pet. Worth mentioning: I think that Renner has made a critical flaw in judgement in that Climb is not likely to be able to fulfill the requirements to become an imp. In fact, I expect that in learning about the process he will realize that his beloved Renner has done something truly abhorrent -- even if he never learns the details -- and become disillusioned with her when her heart is revealed to be black as coal. I expect that he may kill her, possibly in her sleep, or kill himself, or take some action to cause harm to Nazarick as a whole that results in his execution. Climb is just too good, too wholesome, for the terrible world that he has been born into.
he will talk with her, refuse to race change, which will make renner goes on a plan to obtain a race change that doesnt harm clinb like that, in a few years. maybe angel?
I doubt Climb will do that for a couple reasons: 1. Renner is smart and will probably frame it as if she was forced to do these heinous acts by the oh so evil Sorcerer King 2. Renner will guilt trip him saying she gave up her humanity(in multiple ways) just to have him alive, and that she couldn't bear to live an immortal life under the tyranny of Ainz alone 3. Climb is well aware of what the alternative is for the last remaining royalty of Re-Estize who have incurred the Sorcerer King's wrath, after seeing what she was made to do to Ramposa. He likely thinks that either way, a life of suffering awaited her at Ainz' hands, and hence will only feel resentment for Ainz for doing this to her, wholly unaware that Renner did this of her own volition
Ehhh, i'm not sure loyal is the right term to use. She did do all of this for HER happiness, not his. At the very least, i highly doubt someone like Climb would want any of this.

Didn't she suffer from anorexia when she was younger, most likely hurt her growth for her human body. So demon body is what she should've looked like minus the wings of course
I feel like the statement that Rennier is now the same race/class as Albedo is somewhat inaccurate. Albedo is an NPC boss monster, created at a high power level to guard a player created dungeon against squads of level 100 players using team tactics, who happens to have a demonic knight theme, and matching weaknesses and resistances. (Remember that floor guardians couldn't even level up in Yggrasil, but now they are able to learn and train.) Rennier is a former-human who used a cash-shop item to change her race to demon, so she wouldn't age anymore. While monster races from Yggdrasil can raise their teir and gain new abilities and stat bonuses as they level, Rennier is still a tier 1 demon, who can't be higher than level 20. A level 100 Rennier could potentially tier up her monster race the same way Ainz raised his skeleton into an elder lich, and thus get the demon racial bonuses that Albedo is emulating. --assuming the right items and quest exist in this world. However, the tricky part is getting to a high level.
I just feel pity towards climb that his whole life what he believes is a lie and now all eternity he be a play thing rather than pure true love he desire and rather than a kinght of his love he just stay as a dog in Renner eyes or all he love or Cherished are long gone and what he believes his last piller of support which is Renner for climb how in reality is mostly the reason for that but as some great wise person said "ignorance is a blessing"
You could easily make another video on her song and her relationship with the Disney tropes... or perhaps even more in general her relationship with historical princess/Disney princess/modern heroine BTW: there's one thing I didn't quite understand about her transformation: why was it multistage? Shouldn't that box open upon her meeting the requirements and that be it? Instead, after she sacrificed the orphans, she got a boost in strength and stamina, but still looked human (or was she already transformed, but disguised?). Also, why could she wield that sword? It apparently had not just a strength requirement, but also a j0b requirement. Lastly, how does a level 10 imp compare to a level 10 human? (HP, STRG, Stamina...) More broadly speaking, I am a bit confused about levels in Overlord. For instance, Climb probably represents what the average human could hope to achieve until his prime, but he'd be a no-one compared to Blue roses, Gazeff, or Brain. Still, compared to Evileye, or even Nazarick, the rest of Blue roses must appear like negligible potential. Yet, Lakyus took quite a beating from the assassins, who are high level for human terms and even tanked hits from that giant woman and resisted even Evileyes magic! Thus, where would they be in a scale: Climb, demon princess, Tia&Tina, Lakyus, Gazeff&Brain, Evileye, the pleades?
Human races, which include dwarves and elves, have no racial classes, so they can spend all their levels in classes. Other races get racial levels, which means an average demihuman or heteromorph civilian is going to be atleast a few levels above the average human civilian, if neither have fighting classes. Evil Eye is around level 50, much higher then all the other members of Blue Roses, which are in their twenties, apart from Lakyus who is around 30. Climb is around 15.
Why can she wield that sword? She have 5 level in genius. These 5 level can be switched for any other class, like warrior, assassin, rogue or idk farmer if she want.
For that first part, what likely happened is she got XP and levelled up from all the kills, hence her base stats went up. The Fallen Seed(the box) then opens up and she can use the item inside now that the requirements were met(there could've been many many requirements) to transform into an imp.
wait, what? I just read the light novels, and I don't remember anything about Renner poisoning the children. I remember her cooking, but nothing about poison. And Climb was with her in the kitchen and commented on how she was so good at cooking. What chapter is that in? And in the light novels, Renner DOES sing. Are there different versions of the light novels?
If ainz got any brains, he will slay renne, as someone who love his family so much, to embrace someone who betrayed her kind, family, reign for a single man , would be foolish , who can say she would not sell nazarick to keep her eternal life span if nazarick ever seems to be falling.
@@Josh-99 but he cant love her back he has no emotions so if the dragon lords show her they can change that with wild magic i would bet money she betrays him its gonna end like it started with him losing the npcs one by one like the guild members left.
I still don't understand why Ainz accept her when the purpose of using her already end as the kingdom has already fell and Nazarick already practically took over the entire kingdom at this point so it's arguable that she already outlive her usefulness in Nazarick's eye. And it's impossible for him to not know what, how, and why she do all the thing she did, which is against every values that Ainz held up when compare to the other time Ainz accept or pledge to protect outsiders, his attitude toward the like of Gazef, Brain, or Zanak, and his treatment to the like of Phillip and other traitorous nobles. It's more logical to think that she should be killed off as soon as Nazarick take control of the kingdom. Everything she sacrificed should be all for naught rather than she get everything she want like this. The whole deal on race change and immortality could be just a bait in the end as well. So, I don't understand. Or maybe, I don't understand Ainz's character enough. Anyway, I think now Renner become the important case in literature study, at least for me. I'm interested in why she got everything she want from turning into dark path while other famous characters from other famous series who choose the similar path to get what they want never get what they want in the end and also lost everything. How can her story compare and contrast to them? Also, what's her story really stand for? If we interpret this whole ordeal as a pathway to liberation, it has quite unique take on the topic compare to other series. I also think of other interpretation but I should leave it as this, it will be more controversial the more I try to think into it. And this is just a literature anyway.
So if Climb becomes a demon that means he needs to do something similar that Renner did, would want to see the corruption of him but hey this is the last note worthy thing will see of them other than their double date with Sebas and Tsuare
Closest would be PDL and the Slaine Theocracy God Kin and even then they would barely stand a shot. As for actual players, not sure if any players can be brought into the new world as Yggdrasil is gone and Ainz along with the great tomb probably had the last world items anyway.

Everyone keeps focusing on ‘why did Renner join Ainz.’ It’s just dumb observation; anybody with a brain would know you can only win with Ainz. What I think is an interesting question is why she was offered the choice and why was she not discarded after she was no longer useful?
Not read the books but In the end, she would lose everything. She is maybe one step above a maid and there is no reason to promote her as she swore total loyalty to him. He fell in love with Renner but once he finds out her true nature he would leave her. Plus if you use western standards he was tricked into the deal which voids the agreement. She did it all so they could say together. So once she understands what she really did she could have a mental breakdown.
Why people said that renner had a happy ending when it's actually just the beginning. You know what being a demon doesn't makes you immune to death even shalltear had died once in the new world. Any adamantite adventurer can easily kill renner if she were to have a fight with them hell even hamsuke can easily kill demon renner

You could easily make another video on her song and her relationship with the Disney tropes... or perhaps even more in general her relationship with historical princess/Disney princess/modern heroine
BTW: there's one thing I didn't quite understand about her transformation: why was it multistage? Shouldn't that box open upon her meeting the requirements and that be it? Instead, after she sacrificed the orphans, she got a boost in strength and stamina, but still looked human (or was she already transformed, but disguised?). Also, why could she wield that sword? It apparently had not just a strength requirement, but also a j0b requirement.
Lastly, how does a level 10 imp compare to a level 10 human? (HP, STRG, Stamina...)
More broadly speaking, I am a bit confused about levels in Overlord.
How can Ainz grab Razor Edge when it cuts anything? 🤔
I don't remember if Renner gave phillip the planes to rob the van.
Cyberpunk edgerunners was one of my favourite animes of all time
The line where ainz said I'm not sure which will Hurt you more 😔 😕 😞 💔 chilling 😎 😏
Girl did nothing wrong!😅
And I like that Disney Princess Moment.
Trick question. She's always been a monster.
So is Renner a demon princess of Tzeentch or Slaanesh?
Both, maybe more in the tit-snitch side.
Yes
Bro that was a masterful episode
"Special Sword", Giggity
Can the race change box make Kline into a Dragoniod like Sabas?
No, he will also turn into an Imp
wait, what? I just read the light novels, and I don't remember anything about Renner poisoning the children. I remember her cooking, but nothing about poison. And Climb was with her in the kitchen and commented on how she was so good at cooking. What chapter is that in? And in the light novels, Renner DOES sing. Are there different versions of the light novels?
always wanted to know what would come of her
Nooooo title typo
there is a typo in the title
she got the demonhood offering the neighborhood.
Thanks dude
"Atleast there is NO NTR that will happen"
-this got me real hard haha
Now we need German bedtime stories with Schaargocks vids....
If ainz got any brains, he will slay renne, as someone who love his family so much, to embrace someone who betrayed her kind, family, reign for a single man , would be foolish , who can say she would not sell nazarick to keep her eternal life span if nazarick ever seems to be falling.
he is trusting Albedo to deal with Renne
She got 100 Infamy and 100 Corruption
I think this is foreshadowing before albedo sells the whole tomb down the river to get ainz turned human and his special sword lol
She doesn't need to go that far. Ainz has access to polymorph magic, should he choose to entertain her desires one day.
@@Josh-99 but he cant love her back he has no emotions so if the dragon lords show her they can change that with wild magic i would bet money she betrays him its gonna end like it started with him losing the npcs one by one like the guild members left.
Craps to Demi to see through her😂
Maybe climb will become Aasimar or some kind of angel
Still want to know who her 2 sisters were
So if Climb becomes a demon that means he needs to do something similar that Renner did, would want to see the corruption of him but hey this is the last note worthy thing will see of them other than their double date with Sebas and Tsuare
I'm very interested in climb being transformed into a demon too.
what's the difference between the nobles betraying the king and ainz killing them and renner betraying the king and not getting killed?
how much it benefited the great tomb i would wager.
12 hours in and noones going to mention "habd"
The best Disney Princess period! Nothing can top her!
Kommt das Video auch auf deutsch ?
Die kommen alle noch auf deutsch, aber erst nachh und nach.
@@schaargock danke
What can an Imp do?
Dumb question, do you speak German? Awesome video!
Singing stealed scene in overlord, Disney take notes
I don't get it, she needed to fulfill certain conditions to be transformed to demon by some item and Climb doesn't have to ?
Frankly I would love to see more strong "players" level characters using world level items to challenge the guardians and Ains himself...
me too.
Closest would be PDL and the Slaine Theocracy God Kin and even then they would barely stand a shot. As for actual players, not sure if any players can be brought into the new world as Yggdrasil is gone and Ainz along with the great tomb probably had the last world items anyway.
@@The_Real_DCT I still dunno what item or skill was used to mind control ShellTear, or who did it.. I hope Ains can also find out and challenge them in Season 5.. if ..there is a Season 5
@@lingth The item is called "Downfall of castle and country" a world item that puts the target under complete hypnosis and is used by the Slane Theocracy (*edit: due to the user being injured before the item could be used successfully the hypnosis only partially affected Shalltear), as for how they acquired this item you should look up the "Six great god" I'm not gonna spoil anything more then that.
@@AmnAker wow useful thanks
I think for Renner to have betrayed anyone, she'd have actually had to give a fk about the side she was on in the first place.
"it wouldn't be the worst one"
I tip my hat to you good sir, for the simple fact that you made the joke and reference about your German bedtime stories. I'm going to safely deduce that a lot of them dimmed from the Grimm's Fairy Tales? I love to explain to individuals how Goldilocks is a vigilante and the story that they recall from their childhood was really watered down and not such a happy ending as most individuals would like to think🧐...
What about a video about how to date an NPC in the New World for their hand in married?
What if Renner manipulates the floor guardians to betray Ainz
Not gonna happen
And he truly doesn't suspect a thing he's in for a rude awakening maybe just leave this crazy woman behind just putting that out there and I'll have to catch on eventually and I don't think he'll play along anymore
With the knowledge of the process needed to become a heteromorph one cannot say "It's not like I wanted to become a monster"
Renner lost her leverage in my opinion cause of ains being the person To fight climb cause really anyone could of fought climb and won but because he did it it made albedo furious cause it made a supreme being shrink to a level beneath the floor guardians
Up to what phillip did everthing else was renner plan. It was cocutus idea to cut off the other natio .
Everyone keeps focusing on ‘why did Renner join Ainz.’ It’s just dumb observation; anybody with a brain would know you can only win with Ainz. What I think is an interesting question is why she was offered the choice and why was she not discarded after she was no longer useful?
Renner makes most yanderes look dumb in comparison
She makes almost EVERYONE look dumb in comparison. That's what makes her so truly terrifying.
ah, you watched cyberpunk! nice
6:33 - 6:37 😏
Not read the books but In the end, she would lose everything. She is maybe one step above a maid and there is no reason to promote her as she swore total loyalty to him. He fell in love with Renner but once he finds out her true nature he would leave her. Plus if you use western standards he was tricked into the deal which voids the agreement. She did it all so they could say together. So once she understands what she really did she could have a mental breakdown.
Wait a minute... Who Killed The womans from the illegal Brothel? The Eight Fingers? Nazarick? WHO?!
Renner Theiere Chardelon Ryle Vaiself
Run
yeah .. the song scene is not canon.. and was very weird..
Poor Climb.
Why people said that renner had a happy ending when it's actually just the beginning. You know what being a demon doesn't makes you immune to death even shalltear had died once in the new world. Any adamantite adventurer can easily kill renner if she were to have a fight with them hell even hamsuke can easily kill demon renner
She was spoiled to much to a point were she left her morals and humanity in the wind.
Spelling error babe
