Glad to see you back on the gacha grind, I found you from Epic 7, then Genshin, now finally Wuthering Waves. Hopefully this is the one that will stick!
Im not spending nothing until Yinlin and thats to get 1 dupe and 1 weapon and thats it, and most of those pulls will come from Battle Pass and the Daily Pass
Thanks for the F2P advice. I'm hoping to get by with just whatever the monthly packs are. This helps since even with that it isn't guaranteed to get most units.
May be recency bias, but I see so much content from CCs about choosing this game to go F2P on, which is the smaller company vs same CCs whaling on behemoths like Hoyoverse despite us acknowledging how much passion and depth is being put into this game.
You do realize that your so called gear is Echos right? Meaning Echos provides the stats and it's not a instance dungeon you can farm but open world map. Gg GL hope this helps
Great points but I kind of respectfully disagree. Imo the most important part of a gacha game is the beginning. If i got back to 1.2, 1.4 and 2.0 genshin, getting Ganyu, Childe and Ayaka was more impactful in my enjoyment than anything after. So i personally think if you want to use all your summons to try out as many characters as you can, you should do for it. Lets say you do what you suggested and you only have the free 4 stars, lets say you dont like any of their playstyles. You might not be having fun and than ultimately might quit the game. Where if you stuck with it longer Moses comes out and you would of had fun. Now on the flip side lets say you go summon crazy and get every 4 star, Verina and Jiyan. And you absolutely love your Jiyan team with Verina. Now your having fun with the game and will stay longer. Even if you dont have enough summons to get Moses, your still having fun with your Jinyan team. I think saving early on is a trap. Launch is the most fun in any gacha and we should use our resources to amplify that fun as much as possible. Just figured i would give you a different perspective. Keep on grinding man
He specifically mentioned that the more powerful characters will come after the initial launch ones (see Diluc). Also, concentrating resources (and maxing power) on 2-3 core characters first, is a better strategy than summoning too many characters and spreading your resources too thin, resulting in several mid-power characters in your roster, rather than 2 very powerful ones. Is this a less fun way to play? well maybe, lol! Always can resort to wallet power.
I remember this same advice with Jean in Genshin Impact all those years ago.

I'm happy for you guys. I probably won't be able to play my left hand has almost no feeling in fingers. I will try but I don't expect much of myself.

In this game, do you need to unlock the characters further with multiple copies of the same 5*?
yes
yes but you can also get dupes in the shop aswell
All im saying is that im gonna not be doing summons for a long time gonna see how far i can push into the game without summoning
