The triumph of the winner ! 👍I never knew before that Disney also sold shampoos and conditioners as some kind of merch, lol ! Big score on the Tiki Art book as well. This time it really paid off to take part in the "battle of the bins", that´s for sure !✌Have a great Sunday afternoon, Renée, stormy and rainy weather over here. Greets from GER, U.
The shops at the resorts sell the toiletries that they offer in the rooms, just in larger bottles. A great marketing idea since they do not provide the little bottles anymore in the rooms and if you want to "smell" like you are on vacation at Disney, you can buy a large bottle or two! I don't poke fun at this, as I have purchased the shampoo & hand soap that the Old Faithful Inn uses in their bathrooms. That smell instantly takes me back to Yellowstone! We had nice weather here, with warmer temperatures & sunshine! I was at the flea market, so that video will be out tomorrow. Hope that you had a wonderful weekend!
All that Disney lotion, shampoo and unction floating like driftwood in the deep blue bin - ocean Renee. Great find. The cabbage patchers were cuuuteee! Loved them. Tiki art book was beautiful.
It's good that the Goodwill bins were nice to you today. Maybe it's a sign of the times and will continue to gift you with a few choice and valuable items, here and there. Fingers crossed.
Lovely hairstyle, glasses, and burnt orange pullover today, Renee. I love that you are such an articulate, young female entrepreneur - great example for young women everywhere.
BTS is one of the more popular/mainstreamed K-Pop group, as in more have heard of them & they have their songs played on regular radio. The K-Pop fandom, from what I experienced at one festival, are some of the nicest people! Very friendly, giving out fan merchandise that they made or paid for themselves, such as bracelets, group photocards, stickers, etc.
I love those Disney World toiletries! I recall even buying some in their gift shop! Last time we were there was 2019! I heard a lot has changed. I hope to go back some day!
There's constant change, like almost everything. I miss the orange blossom scent that they used to have for the toiletries. I wish they would bottle up the smell of Pop Century's shop and front desk area, I love the smell of that place!
@@PaperandMooseIt sounds as if different attractions at the park had their own scent. Very interesting. Not ever having stayed at a Disney accommodation I wasn’t ever aware of the Disney toiletries.
Hello Renee. What a treasure hunt you had. I’m glad you had a great day. My kids had cabbage patch kids like those wish I still had them. I can’t believe that those shampoos and conditioners, soaps can go for so much. Now I have a new thing to look for. I love the sweatshirt . I can see you wearing it into your post office hahaha. Take care. Hope your weekend has gone fantastic. 🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🫖☕️🫖☕️🫖☕️🥰🥰🥰💯💯💯💯💯💯
Cabbage Patch Kids were great toys! I used to love dressing mine up in different outfits and always found it fun to see their "birth certificate" and what name they came with. I hope that you had a great weekend, Verette!
Hey, I have a few of those 80’s Cabbage Patch figures! I got them because they reminded me of my babies. Bald heads and big brown eyes. (My babies are both in their 40s now.) 😊
It's actually not horrible that one doesn't know all the things to pick up to flip & or isn't something in one's wheelhouse. Cause it just means there are enough different items to go around for other resellers.
How fun. Great finds. I had no idea that Disney toiletries were so popular. I have actually never found any here in NC. Our bins are within the regular store. We don’t have an actual bin store. Really enjoy your channel. Thanks for another fun video. You sure are a pretty young lady. 💕
Hi Sweet Renee. So sorry I didn't get a chance to see your video yesterday. But I saw it and amazed on what you can find in the bins. The box of item are a great deal. And the miniature dolls was amazing. God Bless you sweet heart. For a young lady, you make even your mother proud of you. Stay safe. HUGS 🤗. Mari'a. 🤗🤗🤗❤️❤️❤️😊😊👍👍👍👍💙💖💕💜💗
No worries, Maria! The videos will be there, enjoy your day whether relaxing or running errands, doing things. It was a beautiful day here, so I made sure to get outside a little & enjoy the sunshine!
How great was that bin trip! I never would have thought to grab those Disney bathroom products. You just never know. I always check out the books section at my thrift store because there is a section of books in English and I still prefer to read in English, lazy, I know. In December, I found a Terry Prachett book and an Umberto Eco book I had never even heard of so two of my favourite authors came home with me. I sold some pewter candle holders and a copper viking ship this weekend, so I'm happy about that. During my 'Thrifting Thursday' I did find an 4cm antique silver piece of jewellery that had been made into a bolo tie. I'm really surprised it hasn't sold yet. It was made by a famous local jewellery maker around 1930's, H. Møller. I can never guess what will sit and what will sell right away. One thing is for sure: If I don't list them, they aren't going to sell.
The silver piece made into the bolo tie sounds lovely, especially since it's from the 1930s. I've had some success in the past with other hotel soaps, mainly older ones that are not produced anymore or the hotel is long gone. The Disney ones surprised me a bit by how much they actually sell for!
That red apliance that looked like a waffle iron is a quesadilla maker. It has a large, colorful logo on the lid. What to look for is one exactly like it but white. It's the only model of white quesadilla maker any company has ever made. There have been a couple of small models in black and a few in yellow. The vast majority have been and are red. That leaves that solitary model made by a long gone company as the only option for people who don't want a red or yellow quesadilla maker clashing with their kitchen.
When my cousin went to Disney in the 90s they brought back all the soaps and shampoos in their room. They gave me some and I remember thinking it was the coolest thing. I had it in my caboodle and never used it.
What a nice little collection you found in the bins. The book was a good find that will bring you some $$ and everything else is pure profit, well done Renee and a nice video too 😊
I also did some great thrifting this weekend! Best finds we’re an old Craftsman tool box for $6 that is worth at last $60, and a rare Fenton miniature pitcher that I got in a lot of things off of Marketplace. That’s up for auction already on eBay! I also got a ton of books for 20 cents each at the one thrift stone, a few of which will flip quite nicely! Not everything I get is a winner, but I’m getting better at spotting those items that will flip
Hello! Renee I watched you digging in the Good Will bends we don't have that here . They sort everything on shelves. But I'm happy for you in all that you found to make money. You are blessed, I enjoy watching you.Have a great day. .
One day I'll come across an old photo album or scrapbook at the bins, I just know it! I'll be hanging out with Tony this week on a new "pick", helping to look through & pack up items for the flea market. Nothing too crazy, but all items perfect for the flea market. This week I want to tackle and continue with research, including some of the mail treasures from you! Hope that you have a great upcoming week!

Wow. Kind of sad they don't give them for free anymore. But not surprised they are worth a good amount if that's the case. Anything discontinued Disney seems to sell well.
Cool finds!! Love the book .. i d list it at auctuion. Starting it at 28. My local gw doesnot sticker the books. They are flat rated. Hard cover one price , soft cover etc etc . Thank you for your time and video. 😊
My cousin tries to introduce me to other K-Pop groups. While I like a few of the other groups' songs, I keep telling my cousin that it took me months to remember all of the Stray Kids names and now that I know all sorts of little facts about them, that's it - they are it for me haha :0)
Disney bought out the H2O I think the company was closing or something. It`s still the same product but the newly packaged ones will be Disney brand (same formula). I would think that will make the ones you have even more valuable.

I agree. What's worse is when microwaves and other heavy appliances/suitcases/housewares are piled on top of breakable items. Moving them to look underneath usually ends up causing more unnecessary damage to something. This last time, I did see most suitcases put into their own bin, so there are improvements. The employee that "supervised" buyers as the new bins were rolling in kept everyone in line & did not allow people to run, push, etc. to get to the new bins. I told her thanks for keeping things in order, it does make for a more enjoyable experience there!

This location no longer does bulk pricing. They used to do after so many pounds, say for example 50lbs, you'd receive a discount in price, but that no longer is allowed. I do believe they have a cap on the price for books though.
Felix has a great voice! There are many K-Pop groups out there, but I like Stray Kids because their music is a bit different, they have great personalities, love their dancing, and it is fun to talk K-Pop with my younger cousin and share their music with her.
I go out but there is nothing besides actual trash, no "good trash" to be found. When I do find things, I've been filming and saving those clips to make a video once I actually have enough footage for one.
Watch those bins...you don't want to be a "has-been"! $$$$$ Cha-Ching$$$$$! Speaking of "has-beens" we had a GW Store here in S.F., however the whole establishment is a "has-been"...gone, gone, gone! I saw a couple of items I would have picked up. Good luck with the Walt D. items!
What has moved into the building that the GW used to be in? They have finalized the further demise of our mall.... going to be torn down for... can you guess?? A warehouse! Big shocker there!
The GW was a large "anchor store", with a 15 bin space, plus the large store area, well, back in 2015, it morphed into an eight story LUXURY condo complex! In a city that's always crying a shortage of "Affordable" (ha-ha) housing! Across the street (South Van Ness) three other independent businesses were also gobbled up by the luxury crowd, while homeless folks ( many seniors) shiver on the streets! So sad! @@PaperandMoose
@@larryboysen5911 Sounds like Easton, PA... They keep adding the same "affordable" apartments, which are around $3,000 for a one-bedroom. Add to that very limited parking in that town, with requiring residents to pay to park on the street or in a garage. Similar situations, just on opposite coasts!
Well, we are not too far behind...the Greeders (not greeters) are proposing 7 day and neighborhood parking metering...no more holiday and Sunday time off...as well as extending hours! If they could rent homeless spaces, they certainly would! I just viewed a TH-cam clip..."Baby Boomer Life Skills That Are Useless Today"...well, just call me "Mr. Obsolete"!!!! (Actually, I'm part of the Silent Generation...those born between 1927-1945...ops...giving my age, on this planet, away!)
Hey, why not! You paid for the room and not sure what happens to the used toiletries, but my guess is into the trash it goes! You might as well take them home & enjoy them!
@PaperandMoose years (and YEARS) ago I worked at an Econo Lodge right near Ocean City nj and I was a chamber maid, when we cleaned the rooms we were told anything that is used of course you trash but if it wasn't used we were to keep it and reuse it, like I said if it wasn't open.
My bins location does not offer that. They've switched to everything is $1.89lb, with no bulk price discount. The only items that have a cap, if I remember correctly, are books.
Hey Miss Moose,.......as always, your video this morning has turned Sunday into Funday!👍👍👍👍

(Actually, I'm part of the Silent Generation...those born between 1927-1945...ops...giving my age, on this planet, away!)
your hair looks nice long

Hi Renee, where can I find your cabbage patch kid finds for sale?
does anyone know if there is any goodwill bins in California area
If you do an internet search for "Goodwill Bins" or "Goodwill outlet" and your town, it will probably show you what is available in your area!
I am one of those people that take the soaps and lotions home, my husband thinks I am crazy
@@shannon_w. That makes sense! No need to throw out unused toiletries. You probably have some great stories from working there!
I really like your hair longer.

Hairy Tornado gets at the bins a large bag of stuffed animals for $1.00.
My bins location does not offer that. They've switched to everything is $1.89lb, with no bulk price discount. The only items that have a cap, if I remember correctly, are books.
