My daughter wants to go to college in florida and her top choices is lakeland . I had to youtube lakeland because we want to see how it's like and also looking for house . We would love and hope and pray the college pick her . I'm mom of 3 so I'm also checking out schools . We also looking into plans city or town surrounding lakeland but we hope we would end living a lakeland. Thank you for sharing this video and giving us more reason to move .❤ hope to see more videos.

Moved me and my company out of Cali too Lakeland during the Pandemic. This is one of the countries finest cities. Very communal, friendly and FL even though prices are going crazy you are still way better off here than many other states.

I want to get up and move I did find this city but I’m nervous about it due to hurricanes and flood zone how long has anyone on here lived in Lakeland can y’all elaborate this whole scary thing about hurricanes and Florida I really need to make a change in my life I can’t express how much I really need this I have been hesitate about it I don’t want to be afraid to do it I’m
Thinking I will get old never made a change I don’t want to be that one more person to waste waste
I really don’t want to be where I am now so many things that have made my life a little complicated i know there is other states to think of but the beach is so beautiful out there I have to make a change now someone help me with this
Hurricanes are not as bad as non Floridians make it seem. They’re scary, yes but you can prepare for them. The winds are intense and the noises are wild and clean up takes forever, but we will never have the worst of the storms because Lakeland is in the central part of Florida. There’s def flooding and you may get damage but it is not nearly anything you see on tv.
I am planning to move to Lakeland soon, I am running away from Miami. I am excited but at the same time feel nervous because I don’t know much about Lakeland or bad places to avoid. The places I have seen are close to North Lake Wire. Let see how it goes.

I’ve lived in Lakeland my whole life. The city is revitalizing downtown and around lake wire. Wouldn’t recommend anywhere too east or west. Central downtown Lakeland, Dixieland and south Lakeland is best. North Lakeland is more congested.

Lakeland is starting to grow tremendously! Yes it would be a great place for a investment property. Rents start around $1,400. I hope that helps!

Most places in Lakeland don’t have all that space you showed us, we’re crowded as fuck

Might want to check out Mulberry and Polk City in Polk County.
