Some quick things to add on: 1. Ignore what I said about Blood Fury, it doesn't work that way. 2. I went Human for sword spec to avoid glancing but you'll be glancing anyways. Troll might be the best for Berserking Attack Speed. 3. Level with Staves for a while. Firestone isn't technically worth it until Firestone (Rank 2) but you can use it as soon as you get it, if you want. 4. When pulling casters, pull with Curse of Tongues to slow their cast, then instantly swap it to Agony and then run out of range. You'll build Agony damage and take 0 damage and be able to pull them back.

@@psyonicpanda question for your theory crafting. Think it would be possible to make this work on a mage? I was thinking you would have much less dps, since no firestone or agony, I mean, u could maybe us like fire blast and have that ticking fire, but even then would be low dps. i tested out a no weapon shaman and druid (just caster form) and i think it could work, since u have exterior dmg, ie. totems and shocks, or moonfire and roots for druid. idk
@@DieUntoteKlosterfrau Your damage would be absolutely terrible but you would also never die and could perfectly kite every swing. Sounds bad but doable, especially if you use AH gear.
Hey random update, I did actually do a balance Druid run. Died at level 35 because I had a bad case of the "I'm dumb". I thought the build was really strong though, by the time the mob gets to you, they're at 40% HP and you just bonk them the rest of the way to let your mana refill. I made a spreadsheet to calculate the damage your spells would do with each different type of opener. you have to input your min/max and mana values on the right and the rest of the sheet will update.
