You can definitely use a team of all bad characters and still clear the game very easily. However, making teams from the best characters will make it way easier and they are a lot stronger at killing bosses in one turn. I have another video explaining what makes characters good.

@@lavernazear2079 Using a weapon with 3 attacks will give you a lot more meter to start the PWS chain. Try to use PWS with less hits first because you need more and more hits as it goes on.

Yes, that's what we do in the speedrun. We mostly do it because the animation of keeping the item is faster than the animation of sending up the item to Odin. You need to keep your evaluation above 0 whenever you exit a dungeon/area so you have to give up some magical items to Odin.

@@psyonicpanda Thank you for responding, I haven't played it again in many years but I plan to pick it up again and play it trying to obtain all the possible items, it is one of the few games that I want, even if I beat it 1000 times, I don't get tired of playing it. ♥

Thanks! One day I will make that Druid video but doing melee warlock again on Horde and then we'll get to that. Might be a bit though, taking a break from WoW for a few months.

@@psyonicpanda question for your theory crafting. Think it would be possible to make this work on a mage? I was thinking you would have much less dps, since no firestone or agony, I mean, u could maybe us like fire blast and have that ticking fire, but even then would be low dps. i tested out a no weapon shaman and druid (just caster form) and i think it could work, since u have exterior dmg, ie. totems and shocks, or moonfire and roots for druid. idk

@@DieUntoteKlosterfrau Your damage would be absolutely terrible but you would also never die and could perfectly kite every swing. Sounds bad but doable, especially if you use AH gear.

Hey random update, I did actually do a balance Druid run. Died at level 35 because I had a bad case of the "I'm dumb". I thought the build was really strong though, by the time the mob gets to you, they're at 40% HP and you just bonk them the rest of the way to let your mana refill. I made a spreadsheet to calculate the damage your spells would do with each different type of opener. you have to input your min/max and mana values on the right and the rest of the sheet will update. @@psyonicpanda btw, how would you rank the casters among themselves? Or are they interchageable?

@@UserName-hb7hw They're in order but it doesn't matter much. The only big differences is their resistance to elements.

I might be wrong but Gandar ends up more powerful than Mystina at similar levels; Mystina has the edge in being in the party longer, however. Arngrim might as well be in his own tier cause he never leaves your party ever (at least for me).

List is not for Seraphic Gate. Arngrim has a PWS that almost always caps out the gauge so you can use him as a builder for your mages. He is also very tanky, you get him early so you can use him the whole game, and he does a lot of damage outside of PWS. You can clear the game with any team but if you're playing an optimized team, it's different. Wait Reaction sucks because you're assuming that it's ever active when most good teams will kill any story boss in 2 turns. You never really want your mages on CD and Llwelyn makes melee comps viable. Having access to a guard break is so nice and you get him very early.

You can definitely use Lucian haha. Also, I think you missed the point of the video. It's not called "Why is Lucian better"

This video was before the Death buffs. It won't do 700 damage unless it crits and I would say Void Plague is still better in most matchups.

Void plague give u more chance to stun too. I cant play without plague atm

Mind Flay is a bit disappointing :( It's good to proc blackout and get some damage while baiting a kick but the DPS is kind of meh. 75 damage over 3 seconds is basically wand DPS.

I think they buffed its damage while SWP active@@psyonicpanda

Most people don't play Shadow and don't use Shadow Word Death in SOD.

Level 40! Our talents will be a little bit odd since you can't get 5/5 Shadow Weaving without dropping other important talents but it should be fine. Void Plague is going to go crazy, I think. I will note that whenever we get a new Pain rank, it doubles in damage and level 40 is, once again, 2 levels before a new pain rank :P

@@psyonicpanda so are most spriests undead for DP? And does that rank up the same?

@@Streetjesuz-Barthilas DevoPlague should have ranks like every other Priest racial. I'm not sure what rank it gets to at level 40 since I don't play Undead. Undead is good vs Fears but I would say Dwarf is better than Undead. Better PvE utility and you get Stoneform for Rogue Blind.

Haha, it's not bad after the first ten levels. It's not a pure melee Warlock, I allowed myself to use curses and drains and utility spells. No shadowbolt, wands, immolate, corruption, etc. Also don't use a Voidwalker unless the pull is impossible without it. A short guide: 1-10 sucks, use curse of weakness to reduce damage and kite like this video. Buy a Gladius when you can. Get in a few hits before telling your imp to attack for threat. You can do Hogger pretty early, just pull him close to the water and fear+agony until he dies. Once you get the Hogger staff, it's easy sailing. You can even swap to curse of agony over Weakness, if you want.
