I just had a realization while watching this... Thank you so muchhhh for the notes and all!!! I really thought making an artwork would take only a few layers but I realize that...to make such amazing pieces one really has to research techniques and have lots of layers 😭 I------ Now I can just appreciate how much work people put in their artworks 💞😆
Hi! Good video! I really like that you write what you're actually doing lol. I really don't always get what's happening just from the speedpaints and now I have a really good advice about the backgroud colors so you can know where the light comes from. I always struggle with lighs and shadows. Also, the fact that you show your references and how you use them show how much thought you put into this! The song totally killed me x'( the lyrics are just perfect for LBH!! I can't help but remember when SQQ self destructed and LBH was like "I was wrong, Shizun"... that chapter is my favorite and honestly, I had tears on my eyes. P.S: Puppy LBH from the donghua is killing me. I'm dying for ep 6.
Hi! I'm glad you like it! Thank you! Lights and shadows are something I massively struggled with for a bout 2 years til lockdown hit I binged loads of tutorials Haha! Best youtube creator by far that helped me was marco bucchi(?). I'm glad it helped! I'm in no way a professional which is why I don't record my draws as I take ages Haha, but I want to helo others who were like me that needed advice! A lot of content creators don't actually show their references or how they were used so I thought I'd include it just so people could get the idea haha! Maybe one day I'll be able to draw without references but today is not that day 😆
