Questions: is it better to debloat all or customize a list ? the fact that we earn something like one giga of ram after debloating, is it helpfull in game ? Fps or graphical improvement ? Or battery Life ? And if yes, So the video of a Guy saying that hé did not see any différence testing both tiny 11 and original rog Windows 11, is surely false ?

Absolutely, the debloat is more or less to free up a bit of extra ram/space and to make windows feel more "snappy" the debloat tweaks obviously aren't required but I know a lot of people don't like any sort of bloatware on their devices.
Didn’t help me one bit bios 319 is killing 30w turbo mode. Interesting enough I noticed 25w mode had better performance but still not what I’d like. I believe there’s a bug relating to the eGPUs. Rog ally most likely believes the device to be connected to an external unit and diverts power to the CPU to avoid bottlenecking with a more powerful gpu. Just my theory right now I need to test it more but with red dead 720 mid-high mix I got 50fps average even in Saint Denis which was a beautiful experience. Plugged in turbo tanked performance to around 35-38fps. Gpu seemed to fluctuate in clock speeds and quite dramatically at that. I was bouncing from 1800mhz to 2500mhz standing still. Very weird experience. Again unplugged seem to park the cpu and gpu in optimal ranges so they didn’t hog tdp.
@@mikehatten5738 very interesting, I would love to get my hands on the XGMobile to do some testing as well, unfortunately it is still well over 1,000 dollars in Canada, as well they are not readily available.

With these custom OS solutions, they are "better" however they have a tendency to break important things. A lot of those break game pass functionality. @@radioactivebob1 absolutely re:privacy bring dead. Some people (weirdly) are more comfortable with big tech having their info as opposed to some random person they know nothing about. I'm not very tech smart, and I'm just looking for apps and things I can just go to and uninstall 😅. This seems like way to much for deleting/ uninstalling. Is there a list of things not needed for gaming/ youtube/websearch? I don't have the patience for all the steps you say is need.
can you please make an updated debloat guide for the Ally X?
Currently working on one be out by the end of the week
Add to return my unit, but lucky enough Best Buy had more. Second one seems to be recognizing the memory card. For some reason, having couldn't stay updated the new firmware yes. I've had other hand held, and they go through a matter of dates. Some pretty sure we're going to have to wait. And there's going to be many more updates available. As time goes by, for improvements, stability and party. Getting at 120 Hertz, almost all the games.
Currently finishing* up testing on bios 317/319/322 hopefully have a video up later today. Edit:typo
Is Asus Ally a different device with the mediatek tech some other device? When can we expect it to launch globally?
Asus ROG ally is available now, most everywhere. I know there are a few countries it Is not available in unfortunately
Questions: is it better to debloat all or customize a list ?
the fact that we earn something like one giga of ram after debloating, is it helpfull in game ? Fps or graphical improvement ? Or battery Life ?
And if yes, So the video of a Guy saying that hé did not see any différence testing both tiny 11 and original rog Windows 11, is surely false ?
so if i create a restore point and then go through this process will that restore point revert every single change made with bloatynosy? really want to go through this process but dont want to have to do a factory restore if things go wrong with this. i know you mentioned you can change everything back within nosey but i want an extra safety net if i can help it.
I assume Bloatynosy will just skip over any of the things you have selected but have already deleted manually yourself?
Yeah, sometimes it will give an error (which you can check at the top above the fix box) if it doesn't detect the software
Could you do a new video with the updated winpilot please
Currently have all the stats and footage for my new vid just need to vo and edit!
BloatyNoisy app has changed and i've just got my Rog Ally years after, any chance we get and updated version of the bloaty app?
Working on one currently for the ROG ally x (but will be the same for other handhelds)
I had to close this video. I hate people who end their sentences on high notes
I love people who offer casual insults to try and make themselves feel better :)
Have a good day friend.
Edit: had to leave a comment before you left ❤️
Core Isolation seems to make the biggest difference.
Isn't core isolation being off putting the Ally at risk of viruses/hackers ?
@@mikehatten5738 very interesting, I would love to get my hands on the XGMobile to do some testing as well, unfortunately it is still well over 1,000 dollars in Canada, as well they are not readily available.
@@DONUT-FPV calculated risk.
Your computer isn't immediately thrown into a vulnerable state. This is just another layer of device security.
However, as long as you are not downloading torrents, or downloading from shady sites or installing custom drivers you should be okay.
Obviously with anything there is a risk involved, so it is on the user whether or not they are okay with the risks.
For what it's worth I've run it off on all of my devices and my identity hasn't been stolen, yet.
Can you do a update on bloatynosy with the ai version or what would you recommend to still go with the old version?
I didn't actually know about the AI features I'm still using the old version when I use it. I'll check it out and see. Thanks!** Edit
Do you have to run this script just after Asus Cloud Recovery? Or do I first have to do all the Windows and Asus updates and run the script after that?
I would do all of the updates (myasus + windows) then run this
@@WinDeckTechWill do, thanks!
Also, since we have access to the asus drivers etc, what about wiping and installing ghost spectre or tiny11 for less bloat?
I've not tried custom windows installs yet. I will look into that in the future.
I need to do this
after doing so, my MyAsus app was uninstalled and i am unable to reinstall it through Microsoft store.. any help?
Open BloatyNosy klick "Fix" and restore. Minute 12 in the Video...
@mst-mb5lt I did, nothing happen except some system settings.. no apps was restored..
This enables the microsoft store again. U'll find the app in there.
When I right-click the High Search and Remove… under Bloatwear, I get a message that says “unhandled exception has occurred in your application…” not allowing me to go to the next step to uninstall all of those extra apps.
Try running it as administrator
@@WinDeckTech will do. Thanks for the reply!
the only thing that popped up for me that i wasnt sure of was when i went to apply the fix. it had a error message saying something about EXPLORER.exe wasnt installed and couldnt uninstall it. I just clicked ok and it seemed like everything else was fine. But i guess im not 100% sure if all the rest of the fixes applied or not
So it did work. but it uninstalled a couple things i wasnt expecting it to. like the my asus app and the xbox app. but everything else is fine
You can grab myasus from their site and I show how to reinstall Xbox and gaming services in my newest vid.
Informative video, but I cant get BloatNosey to work correctly. When I go to inspect "High" Bloatware, Windows prevents me from moving forward. So something may have changed(?)
Are you running it as administrator?
I like onedrive and will keep it
i never use armory crate, XTU for my i9.
Wink 😜 AMD wink wink
Ae thanks for the heart
After clean win11 install from asus cloud should I install firmware and bios from asus downloads ?
Found my answer. Updates are under the my Asus thing
I would yes. You can either grab them manually from the site, or myasus
Would changing my page file help me with games like Warzone or Forza 5 which tend to use a lot of ram?
I wouldn't recommend it, I would up the vram in bios
@@WinDeckTech I’ve already used 6 or 8gb of VRAM but that only consumes your regular RAM so when the game run i still get error messages saying i don’t have enough RAM
I did this and noticed the "My Asus" app is missing. Is this fine? What if Asus releases patches and updates to the bios, etc.? Does this mean we won't be able to get those updates?
It shouldn't have removed myasus. However if you go to their driver download site you can grab MYASUS from there.
Core isolation was off by default in my case.
On the bloat nosy app When I tried to do the last section about configuring Bloatware apps it would not let me it had the pop up window with the Red Cross and said ”unhandled exception occurred in your application……”
Any help please
Run as administratator. Edit:sp

You can install the drivers from the Asus site!
Under biometric authentication

is it the same with the AI version? do i install the classic ot the AI?
I had heard someone used the AI version with no issues. Although I've not checked it out at all
When I right click the bloat ware and press configure this app I get an error message
Try running as administrator, make sure to right click the top one not the bottom one.
I'll have another debloat tutorial coming Friday hopefully with the CTT debloat
@@WinDeckTech I got it. When I extracted the zip file instead of running it directly it worked.

Run it as admin if you haven't
For some reason after doing this, I started getting screen tearing in Elden ring vs before i never did. Any reason why possibly?
Strange.
Set your vsync on if you're going over 60 or 120fps. There shouldn't be anything causing that
@@WinDeckTech Elden ring caps out at 60fps, and is forced enabled. Docked or handheld mode still causes the issue weirdly enough.

Honestly just go through your programs in settings and uninstall all of the stuff you don't want from there. There isn't too much "bloatware" within windows itself these days and all of the bloat from Asus is light and reasonable imo, as well as necessary if you want the intended experience.

We need to update for this video, please
Just wipe the OS and install something like tinyOS / ghost specter os, personally on ghost specter myself without issues.
With these custom OS solutions, they are "better" however they have a tendency to break important things. A lot of those break game pass functionality.
I would never personally recommend anyone go that route as it's always best to have "official" support.
As well, the privacy concerns with the custom OS are too great in my opinion (I'd rather have microsoft with my data than some random Joe Blow)
@@WinDeckTech tiny might be an exception but ghost specter let's you re-enable anything you want which I've not had to do in the ghost toolbox(although I don't use gamepass), and security "specialists" on youtube have checked over specter os with nothing found.
But in the end it's no more private than Microsoft having your data for it to be sold off or leaked, Personally I don't care privacy is dead and I only use the ally as a gaming device either way, even removed windows defender as it's purely for games / emulators.
This was my question/thought too… did you get all the drivers needed from the asus site then for controller support, etc?
@@radioactivebob1 absolutely re:privacy bring dead.
Some people (weirdly) are more comfortable with big tech having their info as opposed to some random person they know nothing about. Obviously, again, this is down to the user comfort level.
Another "pro" move is to use the windows 10 LTSC version, however support for that ends in 2025 I believe with extended support lasting until 2027.
