What do you do when you need to read things from the computer while streaming and your computer screen is reflecting off your glasses?

Ring light & desk lamp. My ring light is probably at 1 o'clock so there is some glare in my glasses! Great info - fun!

I use window light which is great on a completely overcast day but challenging to do without streaks of light on the walls, floors, etc. on a sunny day, Also it limits the time of day I can film but I do like how I look when all the stars I (well the one star...) align. Actually I got that tip from one of your videos and have shared it many times!

Yay! Window light with indirect sunlight works out great! I actually like to film in my office in the morning because my window light makes a nice back/hair light. Thanks for watching and commenting! 😊 Great hearing from you!

This is great advice - except that if your computer screen is what is causing the glare (and it needs to be positioned under your camera, at the 12 o'clock position), it is very difficult to eliminate. Any suggestions for that piece of this equation?

Am I right in thinking that your a former "Miss Teen USA"? You may not be teen anymore, but your still every bit as attractive today. You chose a subject that millions of people should appreciate if they wear glasses when filming. Having been an optician for 37 years I often watch various glasses reviews from people on glasses they were sent to review. One of the biggest issues is ring lights. You can see the in the persons lenses that a ring light is aimed directly at their eyes and the very distracting reflection of that ring light. I wasn't sure but I thought that having a ring light directly above you or above on either side would solve the ring light problem pretty well. Now that you have confirmed that I will advise others to do that as well.
The fact that your wearing glasses tat you got 10 years ago is amazing and I'm not surprised that you aren't able to see very well wearing them now. Your prescription has probably changed anywhere from 3 - 6 times since you got those glasses. I can see by just looking at the lenses in your glasses that the prescription in your glasses is quite strong and yet not nearly as strong as they need to be. I'm sure everything is just a blur without your glasses. So in looking at your other videos your not wearing glasses in any of them. So your apparently wearing contacts pretty much constantly because admittedly by you you can't see much through your glasses anymore. As an optician what your doing is "so" bad in so many ways. First of all your over wearing your lens which is very unhealthy for your eyes. Contacts should really only be wore no more than 10 - 14 hours a day and not more than 5 days a week. Your clearly far past that. Also as poor as your eyesight in your house where you don't need to see anything at a long distance things are quite blurry for you. Now try going outside wearing your glasses and take a good look around. Over the years you have been very lucky in not having some type of issue which would have prevented you from wearing your contacts. I'm talking about an eye infection or eye ulcers. Both very common for contact lens wearers. If you were to wake up tomorrow with an eye infection you wouldn't be able to put your lenses on and your only way of being able to see would be those 10 year old glasses. So eye infections can take several weeks to get rid of which means wearing glasses for that long. So you would quickly find out that you have to get new glasses in your current prescription until you can once again wear contacts. So the only place I know of that can make you glasses in less than a day is Lenscrafters and to honest it will cost you plenty to get them that day. Otherwise you can expect to wait at least 3 or 4 days for your glasses to be made. Oh yeah, by the way, you would need to find someone to drive you to an optical store because your current glasses are too weak for you to see to drive anywhere. I'm sorry if I am sounding like I'm lecturing you but everything i have said is completely true. If you don't believe me try wearing your 10 year old glasses for just one day and be sure to test your ability to see to drive.
By the way if the price of new glasses is stopping you then I suggest going on-line and checking out these glasses sites. Zenni Optical, Payne Glasses and Lensmart plus many more good sites. Theses sites all offer really cute good quality glasses for as little as $7.00 and that includes the lenses in whatever prescription you need.

My glare is actually coming off of the teleporter. As we know the teleprompter has to be parallel. Any advice?

Place a circular polarizing filter over your lens and adjust it so that it reduces the glare from your glasses. This video has a similar topic:

Well, Richard never told me about it. He's a DP for a living, has his own film co. and has those box-like things I saw in the video. He never mentioned a clock. He's always mentioning angles.
What are you supposed to use when it's night? That's the only time I can capture this fool neighbor when he plays his MUSIC SO LOUD I got the recording of it but all I have is incandescent light. It doesn't even look good and it's a Samsung phone! It's got a name; it's supposed to look at least sharply focused, shouldn't it?
Richard hates cellphone photography and videography. He won't help me do it anymore, and he's almost always out of town when we're not having a pandemic.
