The only review I've spotted that tells the viewer what Battery type it has, non rechargeable but 4xAAA standard batteries... Thanks heaps for opening the bottom! I'm tossing up to get Garmin or Withings (micro rechargeable in 2023 also sucks) Thanks heaps!

Thanks for watching! I've been liking the battery option on the Garmin, mostly because I have been using Panasonic Eneloop rechargeable batteries in it. I think I've recharged them once or twice since getting back in February! Highly recommend! I have the Withing, too, and it's fine but the app leaves much to be desired. The micro USB is a bit weird for charging, but it does come with that cable.
The Garmin BPM, Index scale, Forerunner, and other (running & cycling) gear all coming together in Connect really makes for a solid interface and unbeatable experience!

Trying to decide between Garmin and Withings. Would you say Garmin is better than Withings? Thank you.

I like the Garmin better, as it integrates perfectly with my Garmin watch and scale. When I was using the Withings BPM and scale, only select things would communicate with each other in the Withings app for that particular device. Garmin's is all in one app and exports to other services nicely (i.e. Samsung, Google, or Apple Health apps). The rechargeable battery built-in is nice for the Withings, but I also just use rechargeable AAs for my Garmin.

Con quello che costa , devi metterci anche le pile … quello che ho io , pagato 35€ ha la ricarica usb C … io sono amante del marchio Garmin, ma questa è una presa in giro …

I apologize if the Google Translate to Italian is weird, so I put both English and Italian below.
Italian: Grazie per aver guardato! Capisco perfettamente, forniscono le batterie AA. Vorrei che fosse ricaricabile con USB-C, ma anche l'utilizzo di batterie AA ricaricabili funziona molto bene.
English: Thank you for watching! I completely understand, they do provide the AA batteries. I wish it was rechargeable with USB-C, but using rechargeable AA batteries works very well, too.
