Welcome back, MrSealyP, and what a great map tour to come back with too! Great to see this map making its return in FS22, it definitely looks very nice captures that logging map feel very well. Not going to lie, I'd love to see you revisit this one, either as a brand new Let's Play or a sort of "how the area changed after you left" kind of thing. Either way it looks a great map for the forestry enthusiasts out there! Thankyou for taking us on a tour and showing off the old Landy in its prime!
Hey, welcome back Mr. S. On FS19 the south west corner of the map contained the powerline as you mentioned. Additionally there were many trees blown over by a storm, so the roots sticked out of the ground. In that corner I spent my gameplay. I was clearing the blow over trees and sold them so that these did not rot in my own storyline
I love how you mentioned by-the-by just starting with a "chainsaw and a pickup". I go up in the mountains a few times a year to get firewood too keep for the next winter. I stockpile it and split it and stack at my house. I use a '76 GMC with an 8000lb winch, and then I take 2 or 3 chainsaws, oil, chains, etc, and go up in the mountains and log. I say this because of the nonchalant way with which you mention "chainsaw and a pickup", it feels like you've done some basic, personal logging yourself. :) thanks for the vid.
I used to hate logging but now I enjoy it i just try to start small with a chainsaw instead of those big machines and also grow crops and do logging in the down time
It's weird to watch you drive the Santana over rough roads while I'm exploring the new Season 7 Snowrunner map on my main monitor. Glad to see the coverage of that vehicle! I hope you'll consider doing another "best-of" review of the top mods. They are coming out at such a pace that I'd be happy if you shifted to that model for all new mods.
Thank you for the tour of my map! We are preparing an update that resolves some issues including the trees sometimes losing their collisions and sticks/branches not going away when plowing the ground or landscaping! :)

That's before the Liebherr 622 Pack came along and I spotted your Holmåkra map on the mod hub! Not sure if it was the Scandinavian countryside (my Norwegian heritage) or the varieties of trees that got me to try again, but whatever it was I believe I'm hooked! Nice work! It may not seem like a major deal but, I’m glad you did the drive around because the map maker has done an amazing job with the detail and improvements on the back roads over the FS19 version. They’re still rough but in a much more refined way than they were previously. I may have to give this a go because this does look like another great pioneering map. Just too bad Giants had to nerf the wood values.

And I am curious, last year you were philosophising about having a server where you would do multiplayer…Did that happen, and are you still playing on it? Love all the different trees. Wonder if the AI didnt work properly due the sellpoint being in a shed with a closed door. You subsequently opened the door later in the episode. Would have been neat to try it again.
I know my question has nothing to do with this map but, has there been any news as of late on an update on piney run? desperatley need an update I am having alot of trouble with forestry work the clamp just passes rite through the logs i cut and they pass through the wood chipper making it difficult to pic up the logs/ trees I cut.
By the sound of your voice you should take time off more often. The enthusiasm & and excitement you showed on this tour was great! It seems that with all the mods that come out, the work load is starting to seem a bit much. I don't know how you do it. I sure won't be able to. Thanks for all you do!
Very nice! You know, there is NO other TH-cam gamer on FS22 that does a more thorough and entertaining map tour than MrSealyP! No one can top him! This map reminds me of where I live. I can get in my old jeep, drive 45 minutes and be on a live version of this map. "Where is this?" you ask. Washington State, USA. I live SSE of Seattle, WA. If I hop on I90 and head east, 45 minutes I'm on the mountain on old logging roads. They really did a good job with the realism and detail of this.
I would love to see the sawmill in this map be a mod by itself so we can have the boards 2 and 3 as a business it seems more realistic to me with full size lumber not these tiny pellets were it looks like 4 food boards and not 12 foot or full size 2x4 and so on i do hope u do make another pioneer video this map version should make a good 30 to 40 episodes u may not have the little gray fergy but we do have a Massey Ferguson 100 series that u can make Gray or is it the 200 series i can't remember but anyway if u don't want to use them u can always start with the Porsche junior tractor it is about little gray Fergy and there are some small trailers u can use the possibility are almost endless me i would do a series like yours but my net is slow as molasses it takes me 10 to 15 hours to upload a 30min video or even a 20 minute video and i use a laptop and I am afraid of ruining it and leaving it on for that amount of time not only that I have no protection replacement on it so if it goes i will not have a computer i am poor and most of what I have for tech is from 2000 when prices were resemble for me i got lucky when a good friend of mine helped me buy the new xbox series x that is the news tec i have now but enough of my personal problems please make again a Pioneer series it would make me forget my every day problems go away and I can immerse myself in a world without ever day problems like all of your videos do

Logging. I detest logging! But the map does have exactly the right atmosphere for those that like cutting trees down.

I have found that Auto loading trailers will almost always pull stuck pallets and bales from there predicament.

Hi, played the map, frozen everytime I move an inch, it's impossible to play it. Will it be fixed anytime soon?
Give it a few minutes and that disappears. Just takes a while to load properly
Its a nice map but for me the 1 from 19 was better (in my opinion) i put over 200 hours in the holmakra 19 map

No, there has been no indication that 4x maps will come to console. Consoles have never had them previously but who knows.
