@Julian F. Modding amazing map, great work! Just curious where the $6 water charge is coming from. I like it but didn’t know if it was cow barn or not.
Thanks for the review. Have to say that might be the best all natural US map for FS22! Wish it had custom crop calendar. Planting short season beans into just harvested wheat in the late spring/early summer is really big in that area!
one of the best things in the game is to turn off seasonal planting and just play. if youre wanting to do specific things like that, no real need for the game telling you that you cant
Is it just me or has there been a massive emphasis to try to get console players closer to the PC experience of this game. While I understand there will always be differences in capabilities, the inclusion of console players in 22’s growth has been remarkable, IMO.
Giants clearly marketed this game for consoles, that a fact. Everyone was grilling giants a few years ago about when Fs was coming out with fs20, Giants made a statement saying "we're waiting for the new consoles to come out". Here we are, fs22 and the new consoles can absolutely handle what they are throwing at them with this game. We'll definitely see 4x maps in a year, Giants has dabbled a "maybe" hint recently. We, see!
I love the green Dodge Challengers driving around. I do believe there are a few doors that are missing as well. The one huge shed that had the office area attached has the door missing. There also seem to be a door missing in that same structure where you go from the open storage area to the enclosed area. Other than that it’s a nice map. There’s something about it that gives it a different feel. You hit the nail on the head when you said that it’s not cluttered up with a lot of stuff.
Gorgeous map. Disappointed in the large amount of land that's not purchasable, the inability to sell or demolish buildings, and you start with a great deal of equipment when you do start from scratch mode. Sadly, I won't be playing it for those reasons. Perhaps an update will come out to rectify that. Again, though, it's absolutely gorgeous, but not for me
@Kyle A I don't believe that to be true. Need to make room for productions. I would rather knock a building down, which makes no money vs. tearing up a farm that produces money. You can't purchase empty lots, so there's no placing productions there. It kind of limits you to only destroying your farms (money) in order to place production points. Don't get me wrong, this map again is gorgeous and well made. Just not for my playstyle
I agree with everything about your statement also it's missing some trees, I like to decorate my place and add some detail around to make it feel more cozy but it's kind of tough when there's only three kinds of fucking trees to choose from and none of them offer any amount of good shade and also there needs to be a "short grass option" to where it looks like the grass has been just recently mowed.
This is probably my next map. I like the farm at 28 minutes the best. I also like how you can put the productions wherever you want. I usually don't like maps that have a bunch of stuff placed everywhere because it's usually not where I really want it. Lol I do hope he makes some updates though so when you start from farm manager or start from scratch, there isn't any equipment or buildings. Although because of the way it has been done I could live with the buildings especially seeing as I really like one of the farms. Also he really needs to make every single square inch of this map buyable and anything you want to get rid of be deleted. This needs to be automatic in any map in my opinion.
Several things here, the map is great! Some changes he needs to make: All fields need to be realignment and purchasable All non moving cars moved from farms along with better detail to some of the vehicles. (Looks extremely unfinished) All buildings need to be "sellable", you can't really do your own farm setup. Last, needs to be Kubota xpac and platinum compatible. That's my take away, it's a really cool map, especially us from the Midwest who live in areas like this.
I’ve been playing around with the map. I noticed that while the verges aren’t “purchasable.” You can build, farm, and log on them, all for free. You can even take soil sample of them. Probably a mistake. It’s just free land you have access too.
I bet you feel like a real estate agent with the map tour on this lol. I know that's what it reminds me of. 😆 not complaining though you did a great job.
Ive said it many times the real game changer will be mud and actual ground simulation like real life some what . This would be a great thing . I like that some stuff has also came to console as well
Love this map. Had to give it a go after watching your map tour. But I have a question. Is there any place you can sell bales? I love the baling part of farming and it's all I do tbh 😂. Any ideas? Thankyou MrP 😎
Only think I don’t like is that starting out owning too much. Silos, animal pens in various areas all in land I don’t own. But a beautiful map aside of that! Love the rest.
Being a resident of Northeast Ohio I am intrigued by this one. I would like to see some more small town Americana like in the base map. A school some houses a baseball diamond a couple of pizza shops and a dairy would be just fine. I need a small town store to deliver my eggs and milk to.
The two Michigan maps (Frankenmuth & Michigan Farming) have that small town upper Midwest Americana feel and all base game productions/stores included.
@@DanTheMonkey Griffin was awesome, it certainly has that small town feel. But...Like any good small town the excitement wore off fast and within a year I was standing there scratching my head wondering where I was going next. Nothing to do in a small town...But yes, it is a great map! I spent so much time jumping that levee, that has to be the best feature of the map. 😂
It's neat. I love the animal pens and the small farms. Horse and cattle pen are amazing. Very, very, very disappointed you cannot remove buildings and stuff sitting around when you buy. If I'm buying I want to make it my own. Very neat map, hope they update it and make the necessary changes, then I would probably play it. I do not see any point now, as I do t want to own a farm that I cannot fix up.
The map is beautiful but I have to be honest the fact that I can't edit the things I want to edit (I am looking at you scrub tree that blocks workers and cant be removed even with the dev tools) means that I quit playing it about 20 minutes after I started with it. If I can't delete inconvenient objects and buildings I dont like, it is not worth playing the map for me. So disappointed.
I'm always surprised when I see a big JD working the fields 200 yards from Hershey hospital. It's been so built up the past 20 years but they still have some green space thankfully
Nothing wrong with the shininess of the "Polished" Concrete Floor Those are becoming Quite Common.. Some of these Map designers need to create a 150 Year old farm Stead that is totally "Trashed" out, Junk & old Vehicles spread out all over Buildings that the roof lines are sagging, Etc, Etc. Now that would be a Real American Farm. HAAHAHAHAHAHAA..... Edit; 20:06 on the left, old cars. and the Base Game Building ...
@Richard R I don't want to take away from the beautiful map when there are multiple farm yards we could use, instead of lessening the amount of fields on the map to put down a farm & productions
I like stuff is expensive. I like the challenge of starting with squat and grinding your way up. I find most of the maps are way too easy even when playing on hard.
@@Adam-tp6ch I agree. I have seen a few comments now about prices ion both videos we have watched. I agree with you though, I don't like it being too easy. Silverrun is WAY too easy.
If you were referring to the yellow car that's a challenger....but I get you....old school American muscle is better then the modern plastic piece of crap
As an Ohioan that lives in a rural agricultural heavy area. Very disappointed in the map. Does represent Ohio well at all and the map isn’t nearly as great as it seemed like it was going to be
It's too bad giants can't put out maps that look like this. Silverrun is a beautiful map but besides the new water and trees they won't let anyone use it doesn't compare to mod maps
His rating system has nothing to do with bugs or aesthetics. It is more about how well the map has expected features of FS22 such as production points, the ability to sell goods and buildings, the textures on buildings and how well triggers are marked out. I have seen some pretty crappy maps get 5 stars and I have also seen many highly polished maps rate low. It took me a while to understand what FK was doing with his rating system, but I get it now.
@@CMoDZ3D My apologies. I am reading the comments between the two videos this morning and did not realize whose video IO was on. I thought this was FKs comment section. I can't comment on the actual map as I haven't played it yet.

I love this map, dodge rams and challengers, chevy s10's, f150's and f350's, and flatbed trucks with bales all as traffic, that's so cool!
A simple, beautiful map. I started it last night and I’m loving it. Really captures the midwest US in an impressive way

I know, right? In rural Indiana every second vehicle is a long bed dually...
This map is beautifully made ! So much detail. Also a very suitable map for multiplayer
it is but however the problem i get is that no matter what mode you start on the first farm owns all animal places, and that is a problem
100% agree
