If this 400R would’ve been made in the R32 or R34 generations you can bet you’d be looking at $2.5M+ asking prices. Yes this car is obviously still a huge part of Nissans history, it’s just too bad it was in literally the worst generation of skylines.

400R should have died with the R33 GTR but Nissan revived it for their current Skyline in Japan and not only is it a 400R it’s not even the too trim. Shows how much they actually thought of the R33 GTR 400R.
The only reason anyone would think the car isn't worth that price is because it's not some Italian exotic. Yet it is (objectively) way better engineered, built and capable than anything from it's time, Italian or otherwise...
Honestly, if you can pay $1.5 MILLION for a car, you can probably pay a fabrication shop to fab you up 5 of every spicy rare part on the car. It's only a big deal to us poor folk.

The R33 Skyline GT-R is one of the most gorgeous looking Skylines I have ever spotted. It may be underrated, but it is one of my all-time dream cars
