Thanks for the response. Your beautiful renditions bring me to nostalgic tears often. This should have a million views ☺️ Grant Kirkhope wrote all these compositions and he’s very active on social media, especially twitter, and posts about BK practically every day. A little before Christmas, he played Freezeezy Peak on a kazoo and keyboard. If somehow he doesn’t know about this video, that should promptly be remedied because he would fundamentally, completely, and utterly adore it. So I need to try and send it to him. 😊
We truly were fortunate, those us that grew up with the music to these games. Rich melodies, interesting chord progression, sometimes even complex time signatures. But in games about apes and bears collecting stuff. The arrangements are so on point in this and the playing is so clean and accurate. New, big fan.

technical advancement and the enormous amount of cash that was poured into the videogame-industry made me belief that soundtracks nowadays would be so much better than they were 20, 25 years ago, it happens but most of it is just bland and forgetable. If I hear tracks from the SNES/n64/ps1 era I instantly know the region it took place in (if I played the game), can't say that for many modern games.
Kara great job with including the “Yuh-Huh!” at the beginning just like Banjo. I play your music to my kids and they absolutely love it. They said the Gruntilda laugh was the best!

Kara, I just discovered you while searching for video game compositions. Here's a few observations: 1) You immediately strike me as a person who enters a room and the light fills the space. Truly, that is a rare, refreshing quality. 2) Your energy matches your playing style well from song to song. 3) Your attention to detail is noteworthy from the cosplay, playing, camera work, and editing.
That skrunkly little Gruntilda plushie is honestly such a mood. I love it and I want it 💚 Seriously tho, that is some genuinely awesome playing and music transcription. The transition from the title theme to Spiral Mountain was smooth as honey, and I ended up playing a mental game of “Oh What Are We Gonna Transition to Next?” somewhere in either Mumbo’s Mountain or Bubblegloop Swamp. So much joy and nostalgia elicited from me, definitely going to check out your _DKC1_ medley now 😁
I'm a Seabee veteran and love being brought back to my childhood. It really helps. Thank you for your talent. Incredible skills. Thank you and God bless.
That's a pretty good thumbnail. I like everything about it ...hehe. The Banjo and Kazooie plushies look so kute. And I like how Gruntilda is sort of kamouflaged between some beautiful flowers and your gorgeously kosplaying self. 😂
@@KaraComparetto well it's awesome so you'll get a lot of reach me thinks c: are you thinking about possibly uploading VODs or clips of playing the game to this channel too?

Thank you. Years ago i found the original soundtrack at thrist store, i got it and mailed it to my dad who used to listen to it on long road trip to stay away on long drives 😂
I'm not too familiar with Banjo-Kazooie. However, there are some very tough pieces in here, with a lot of chromatic runs, and you played them so well! These are also mostly just very nice, fun, bouncy tunes to listen to that are great for some happy background music. I'm sure they were fun to play, but maybe also frustratingly difficult at parts.
Wow! Excellent ! 🤩 This medley communicates perfectly all the joy and sympathy of our favorite bear-bird duo. The piano performance is very clean and the themes follow each other perfectly. Great job! And congratulations to the arrangers!

Liked Spiral Mountain, Gobi valley, Rusty Bucket Bay best. And once one starts one of your Complete ST or Mega medleys, you just gotta listen to the whole thing! You just have to.

OMG so much nostalgia! I loved this game as a kid! Okay, I still love it! I'm 27 years old and this is making me wanting to grab the GBA and play Grunty's Revenge during my lunch break instead of the DS or 3DS games I normally do. And I love that you dressed like Tooty. I understand that you couldn't do all of them since there's so many songs (like the bridge to Gruntilda's Lair song). Has anyone else noticed that Gruntilda's Lair sounds like Teddy Bear's Picnic? I always loved Clanker's Cavern's theme, it just has a sound that makes you think "down, down, down into the depths you go, deeper, deeper, deeper you press on, you just keep going down and down further underground" (I just did a Grunty there with that rhyme). The deep underwater part scared me with those freaky strings. Mad Monster Mansion never scared me but the deep underwater part of Clanker's Cavern song almost felt like the game was threatening me, the scary dissonant strings made me think of extreme water pressure crushing my skull in on itself. Dark, I know. I love Freezeezy Peak's tune, sounds so Christmas-like. The lair music though has an icy chill that sounds like January and February more than December. Another part that scared me was King Sandybutt's maze, the music just got faster and faster, but it was more a panic scare than the actual fear I felt during the deep underwater part of Clanker's Cavern. I wish you could've included Grunty's Furnace Fun, the top of the tower music that sounds like an old 1930s horror radio show and of course the epic final confrontation with Gruntilda, but I'm not going to complain because you did us a huge favor with this. Thank you so much for this.
