Hearing a performance so well done, in tribute to a shared life experience that was unique to each player, and somehow broad enough to suit everyone that embarked on that adventure... that is a rare thing! The music brought that world to life while also making deep emotional connections so that you felt welcome in that world. This is such an excellent performance and the cosplay is legit!

I feel sorry for those who haven’t heard this soundtrack. I don’t think there’s another game, even out of the Final Fantasy series that has as many different, iconic and catchy melodies.
How did I miss this for entire year? It's brilliant in it's simplicity in terms of used instrumentarium. The best game soundtrack ever composed. And the percussive use of keys at times? Chef's kiss
Holy cow this is amazing. Mind bending to hear an organ used to cover synthesizer sounds but it works so well. Hats off to you for everything. The musicality, presentation, sound design, talent and hard work is off the charts.
A note that I hope you appreciate: this video isn't just some "flex" - it's not a "look at me" with the cameras showing off your skills, it's actually instructive. I've always been very visual with music # and have struggled to sight read. Once I've learned something the sheet music is more like a map I can use to help me triangulate my position within the piece. If I actually take a moment I can read it, but otherwise it's most helpful as a sort of guide. But the camera angles that show your hands at the keys are extremely helpful for someone who's never had a lesson. I can see your technique and have learned so much from watching you. Thank you so much for this incredible performance.

The only modern game that comes close is Omori in my opinion. It's whimsical, funny, deeply depressing, intriguing, compelling, and the music fits the artwork beautifully... all the things I loved about 90's RPG like chrono trigger and earthbound.

I can't even imagine how much work you and your team put into this, but it really shows. I'm loving the arrangements, your playing of it all perfectly true to the original, the cosplay, the video edits, the sound engineering that brought it all together. If anyone hasn't clicked the links in the vid description, you really should. I especially enjoyed the making of page. I was thinking you were playing some electric organ like a Hammond or something, but this is like a legit full on pipe organ with all of its tuning woes and all. It's about doing the right thing but saying goodbye to your friends forever knowing that everyone has a important role to fill throughout history. You both worry and miss them but their marks across time are unmistakable bringing a sense of comfort but loneliness and longing for those days to return. Such melloncoly washes over me every time. Sure we can replay the game, but it's something that must stay the same in the past (and future) at the end. Having both lost a family member and moving across the ocean in the late 90's it hits close to home, but also helped give the courage to move forward. I was miserable and depressed missing my first girlfriend and my friends, having trouble making new connections when this game fell into my lap. This, among many other reasons, is why Chrono Trigger is my favorite video game of all time.

This is absolutely amazing. The Pipe Organ gives all the correct vibe to the tunes. I love the piano versions of CT music, but this is just something else. And such amazing performance and everything put together, plus the visuals. Outstanding 11/10

Absolutely incredible Kara! I listened to a lot of these individually as you posted them and really love to see the finished product of them all coming together. I can't even imagine how much work you and your team put into this, but it really shows. I'm loving the arrangements, your playing of it all perfectly true to the original, the cosplay, the video edits, the sound engineering that brought it all together.

I was thinking you were playing some electric organ like a Hammond or something, but this is like a legit full on pipe organ with all of its tuning woes and all.

This reminded me of the excitement I had as a kid playing this game. This made my day! This game hit every one here on an emotional level. We also appreciate the fact you rocked these melodies dressed as Lucca and Marle.

We love seeing all the Japanese comments. We always want Kara to be known more in Japan but never know how to make that happen. We tried uploading to Nicovideo but didn't have much success. It's about doing the right thing but saying goodbye to your friends forever knowing that everyone has a important role to fill throughout history. You both worry and miss them but their marks across time are unmistakable bringing a sense of comfort but loneliness and longing for those days to return.
Such melloncoly washes over me every time. Sure we can replay the game, but it's something that must stay the same in the past (and future) at the end.
Having both lost a family member and moving across the ocean in the late 90's it hits close to home, but also helped give the courage to move forward. I was miserable and depressed missing my first girlfriend and my friends, having trouble making new connections when this game fell into my lap. This, among many other reasons, is why Chrono Trigger is my favorite video game of all time.
Mad respect!! You not only are very talented, but you seem to really care about the material youre playing. Tp a lot of us, this soundtrack is as important as the game itself. Thank you for the awesome video!

Ahh thank you :) I worked so hard on making it sound as close to the original as possible- because the soundtrack is already so perfect and didn't need anything more- except maybe some acoustic instruments :) So glad you loved it!!
This is absolutely amazing. The Pipe Organ gives all the correct vibe to the tunes. I love the piano versions of CT music, but this is just something else.
And such amazing performance and everything put together, plus the visuals. Outstanding 11/10
