Hi Boardzy, I have just received my WLmouse and once I noticed a click being stuck, I was using an SMG in fortnite and it just wouldn’t stop.
Afte this time I havent noticed it happening again.
Seems to be a good and solid mouse all around.

Thanks for adjusting your mic volume upwards in this video
Can confirm the flex on the bottom "pillars" behind the mouse clicks. They definitely flex and make a quiet, yet audible "clicking" sound with rubbing against the base. You can tell they wanted people to grip up a bit further since the magnesium slits are smaller and the magnesium is thicker.
The flex is so annoying for my grip style. Really hoping the mini doesnt have that issue
Was looking through reviews for this comment, and it is super true. It is a little bit noticeable but when playing in game it isn't. Could be potentially a large issue with people having smaller hands
I had the same small flex so I took the shell apart and put a tiny piece of electrical tape between the shell in the bottom plate, and it fixed it all for me
As someone with ULX and 2 BeastX, I love the BeastX more. My ULX build quality was a train wreck. I even had the side flexing RMA’d and returned to me, but there is still significant click wobble and some creaking still. Just does not feel like a quality $200 mouse. So happy WLmouse is doing great with their very first mouse release and excited to see what they do in the future

Did you take the plastic off the dots? I didn’t even notice them for like a week because they are so conformed to the dots. I’m sure you didn’t forget but just a thought.

I'm thinking about getting a wlmouse, but what do you think is a better pick between the beastX and the ninjutso sora 4k?
I have one more thing that I want to talk about. The thing is when I go into BeastX store the Black and Gold variant as well as the Pink one are 149$ and the others are 139$ but non of them has the "skin texture" title in their name, so is the more expensive one the updated version? Will your zebra version be already the updated/new version?

Great information, thank you! I figured every mouse early release has got something that needs tweaking. However, they need to do something about that "D O N G L E" I mean it's bigger than the freaking mouse and its cord is obnoxious. Maybe a small version of the Elgato Stream Deck Mini.
Only problem I have with the Beast X is it has a non dust proof scroll encoder on the normal size. Mine developed scroll issues already.

Mine came with 4 white dots on it, and after some usage there was a dot sized circle of plastic on the bottom interior of the mouse, so I think there's a plastic layer on the skates that's supposed to be peeled off and/or supposed to already be peeled off by the factory (since I only found 1 circle?). Other than that, they feel pretty standard fast ptfe, so that might be your issue with the default dots feeling bad.
mine had the 4 white dots also, all of them had a near invisible plastic cover on them. they were actually surprisingly hard to get off, but once i did they felt great
yea all the PTFE skates it comes with has plastic wrap that needs to be peeled off, theyre actually pretty good w/o the plastic

I just got mine in and it only shows up to 1K polling rate on the software. All the firmware says up to date when I run the updater. Am I doing something wrong?

i bought my second wlmouse beast x 9 days ago AND NOW you are telling me the zebra one is actually going to be available. i am so beyond devastated :( ITS SO COOOL, if only i waited a lil longer :/
Still dont have any build quality issues with my first batch copy that I have been using for over a month, including the side button wobble or flex issue you described. The only issue is the battery life is awful. I get maybe 12 hours on 1k polling rate.

Same, I use at 2k and get 6-8 hrs battery life. At 4k, forget it. You can literally watch the battery life drain on the screen in front of your eyes. Pretty shit for a $250 aud mouse IMHO.

I own the blue limited edition one, this mouse really is a ULX clone, everything about this mouse weight, clicks, sensor, is amazing, only thing i wish they made slightly better was the holes on the side, easy to get used too but something where your fingers sometimes doesnt get caught on the side but this is deffo my endgame mouse, I went from the viper ultimate to gpro superlight, owned the superlight v2, viper v2, but this is just something different
I own the vpu too and i main it too hopefully i will love my beast x max

i dont recommend glass skates since they wear out quick you should mainly go ptfe skates on glass pad

The sides of the mouse are still a dealbreaker for me, I'm not a fan of grip tape, I'm not a fan of vertical side cuts. it would be one of the best mice on the market or fingertip grip if it were not for the unique side cuts.
I personally don't mind them but it would be really cool if they made a version with solid sides

I'm deciding between Lamzu Maya, GPro Superlight 2, and WL Mouse Beast X. My hands are little, average size, and my mouse grip style is claw grip, so which mouse model should I choose? Can you give me a recommendation? You can also include a few additional options.

I don't get this obsession with "light" clicks. No matter how "heavy" a click is, it's still easily spammable unless you have newborn racoon hands. I can't stand light clicks, they make the feedback less obvious, which is a huge negative.
Omron 20M switches are my most hated, meanwhile the much clickier optical Omrons in the GPX2 are my new favs.
Light mice need light clicks, clicks that rebound quicker feel more spammable
person that can't click fast is upset at others looool. If you'd flirted with an RSI, you'd get it. Zowies used to make me feel like shit.
I play with a light keyboard, too, at 0.1mm actuation, cause all my hobbies need my arm tendons on point. If you've got the coordination and prefer it, lighter is better.
I lift weights, eat well, and do mobility but wear n tear is a thing. Gotta respect the meat suit.
