they got rid of the original beastX because they outsourced their firmware to some company that ended up ghosting them, so now they cant update firmware, which they really need to because the battery life at 4k is literally 24hrs. So they created these and hired the company that does the mini beastx firmware to take over all firmware operations on their product for the time being.

Yea the battery life is so dogshit i love the mouse itself tho. Just got my viper pro v3 so its no longer used. I love the big dongle tho cause i can have a gif of my girl shakin ass 24/7 on my desk.

According to the mouse engineer (rumor)from wl mouse, you are supposed to put your ring finger(or pinkie) in the slits on the right side when claw gripping, which is like more stable

I really like this mouse and the packaging is Seriously nice, good enough to keep and make use of. The buttons are super light and easy to spam and though I wish you could switch via a small button behind it, from stepped to infinite scroll like on Logitech G502x, the steps are the lightest of all the mice I've used and the scroll wheel material feels really nice, like a smooth rubber. I love the general presentation in the graphics that's all over the two main buttons and scroll wheeland that the designs differ. I did find the two left side buttons a bit far forward but soon got used to it. The only real negatives I've found is the battery life is rubbish compared with logitech.

When you Review the BeastX Max, will you review the Omron Opticals version or the TTC Nihils? Would be pretty interesting to know what the TTCs are like…
Not boardzy, but TTC Nihils feel crispy and feel really good for a heavier trigger finger, the TTC Nihils feel light and spammable when broken in, but they still feel crispy.
Opticals feel lighter, but they’re not as crispy as the Mechanical Nihil Switches
How are the TTC Nihil compared to the huano blue shell on the mini? cause the mini can come with either now

Not boardzy, but the Nihil switch 8k are crispier than the optical OG BeastX I have. I like them since I have a heavy trigger finger and love crispy switches like the Kailh GM 8.0!

Lamzu atlantis or viper V3 pro
Lamzu Atlantis, Pulsar X2H, Zowie U2 are all good for claw grip.

According to eloshapes, the Razer Viper V2 Pro is almost the same as the Model O shape-wise. The price might be reduced now that the V3 Pro is out (the V3 has a different shape than the V2).
In terms of specs the V2 Pro is still very much top tier.

Will u ever rate the sensor placement on mice? I feel like this is one of the most underrated parts of the mouse that for some reason nobody except for Yifang talks about
It comes down to personal grip style and thumb placement more than anything but I could start mentioning it. I considered that the viper v3 pro having a more centered sensor position (relatively higher than viper v2/dav3) could’ve made me enjoy the sensor feeling more
@@boardzy same problem I have with the gpro superlight is that the sensor is slightly off center and its very disconcerting to play with imo
It's not the first time I've seen mice with lighter right click tensioning than left click. I wonder what trend in the QC allows this?
I think its just actuation force variance due to not binning+new switch type rather than smth with the design
When comparing the WL Beast X Fabulous to the Razer Viper Pro V3, which mouse would you recommend?

For fingertip the beast x, but for claw/palm I think its outclassed by the viper v3 pro. Thats just for my hand/preference tho

Depends on shape. Sora V2 is small, the other 2 medium with the Beast a bit smaller in profile. Sora V2 is also only 1K out of box and needs a separate USB dongle to get 2-4K. Which isn't out yet.

Dropping support for the original beastx is such a huge L, especially considering how ass the battery life is. The beast x came out like a year ago too, to already have it not supported is (SHOCKING!)

There are like 5 other colorways, big range of colors. I think they sent b&w units to reviewers
It's cause the colorway is based off a character in the show named di ting that has mostly black fur. I do agree it's a bit basic, would have been cool if they incorporated a third color on the mouse from di tings palette
