Why nobody speak about sony A7IV shutter life?
I would like to see honestly opinion about sony cameras
New to your channel, was debating about which to get?... Currently using Om-1, but i need a full frame for some upcoming work... The olympus ibis is great, 7 stops, Does the A7r5 really have 8 stops or it will depend on the lens?... Btw just subscribed👌
The A7RV has 8-stops of in-body stabalization and works on every lens I believe. The lens can provide additional stabilization if it has OSS (Optical Steady-Shot).
Thanks for your insight on both of these cameras. They’re probably very close and different ways. Somewhat tough decision to choose between the two. I really would like to know what your feelings on the a Sony A7CR Verse the Sony A7V. Now from when I’m told obviously that’s what the Sony a 7RV is in a smaller body, but it’s still be interested in your point of view. Oh, and by the way, that’s sweet lamp in the back and purple. Where did you get it from? I like it.
Thanks for the video. I have the a9 and I needed a backup camera. I just picked up the a7 iv two days ago. I experienced the over heating on it the first day. Only thing I did was updating the firmware. I am not much into video part with this camera, so it will be for photos. I heard about putting external battery may help. I put battery grips on all my cameras, I got one battery grip yesterday. I will try it this weekend.
Try changing your Auto Power Off Temp to HIGH by going to MENU > SETUP > POWER SETTING OPTION > AUTO POWER OFF TEMP.
Camera comes as STANDARD setting so change to HIGH and may help stop it from shutting off due to high temp. And try filming videos with the LCD screen flipped out away from the body. Hope that helps.

In my opinion not worth the upgrade for stills from a7r4a at present functionality and pricepoint. Viewfinder is a plus. CFA cards to slow vs CFB cards at pricepoint. What A7r5 in my opinion deserves is a more engaged support from factory. AF AI only partly delivers through countless confusing functionality options. In your car you don't have to program the abs to your needs for a reason. Some cars have modes, but no confusing functionality. In basis the A7r5 in my opinion is a truely top camera lacking deserved love from it's creator.
The Sony A74 is on my list. I personally see it as a Full frame photography camera and Super 35mm cinematic camera rolled into one

In Austria. The A7Riv is 3699€ and the A7RV is 4499€ i just checked. I'm not getting it here if it's cheaper anywhere else
