      I ran an A750 GPU for quite a while in a i5-12600k rig. My biggest issue was that the drivers were being constantly updated, and the auto-updater didn't always work the way it should. I'd have to go to Intel's website and download/install them.
      For a company that has been building chipsets for decades, you'd think they could figure something like that out. But the card always performed above expectations.

      Arc A770 is a great card landing in the $300 ish range and stands toe to toe with the 4060, pulling ahead in 2k gaming depending on the title. Solid performer cost to performance. Only drawback is making sure to remove all old drivers and install fresh with each driver update to ensure no wonky behavior occurs.

      Soy has estrogen mimickers in it. They are putting soy in everything now from spaghetti sauce, tortillas, candy bars, cans of tuna, etc, etc. It causes men to become emotional and makes breast cancer rates for women skyrocket.
      The Japanese ferment soy before eating it to remove the excess estrogen mimickers. These companies adding it to almost everything do not. By not doing so it is VERY toxic to the liver. This should be ILLEGAL. Instead they run campaigns to slander people like me who tell others to go read the peer-reviewed studies. Unfortunately, it is very effective since many people are stuck in a child like mentally and mistake insults for science.
      Also, regarding "soylent green", they are advocating for outlawing meat(elites can eat all they want though). For us common people the solution is to grow meat in the lab. They even have mini kits where you scrape the inside of your mouth for skin cells and use that DNA to grow meat from yourself. Truly something out of the Twilight Zone.
      Please look into this and spread the word before this becomes our terrifying new reality. Only mass awareness can stop it, mass awareness before it is implemented.

    Definitely not the gpu upgrade I would have gone with. Not even because ARC its just that it's barely a 50% uplift from a 1070. If he went 6700XT he could've doubled his perf and increased the vram :(

    They are finally putting a Micro Center within driving distance from me! It will still be a 3 hour drive, but I have always wanted to go to one! And if I really need a part same day I can always take the ride! lol

    Pretty cool! I have a 6700k and 1070 that’s treated me very well all these years. Just put in a new case to give it some love before eventually going to my daughter as her first PC.

    "der8auer" would have made you a mounting kit for your old cooler in no time :) . Just to avoid some possible driver-hell I would have gone for an AMD card and even discarded the NVME from the list to get the biggest AMD card for the budget.

    I wish they have this in the Philippines. I can't even afford a what they called budget GPU, because the prices here are so high. But I do love your content making smile to someone you gave a gift to. Keep them comin.

    So he does not plan on overclocking but goes for a 12700K on a Z690 platform? Could have easily freed some up budget for a better cooler and/or gpu there..

      I don't ever overclock but I prefer unlocked SKUs for better binning and motherboards with additional features. So do many others. We ran him through all the options available and he was content with the 127 :-)

    I'd kill to have something like a Micro Center over here in the Netherlands... yesterday I was building my EKWB custom loop, only to discover I had miscalculated and did not have enough fittings. So my PC is out of commission for the moment, as watercooling stuff is not something my local shops have. Ended up ordering at Amazon because they had it and they had next-day shipping, so hopefully I'll have them today.
    I would have preferred just going to a store and buy it there, but that option sadly just doesn't exist over here.

    Intel cpu AND gpu! Very cool combo! Many gamers out there are going for a more price for performance these days with gaming. This was less than $1000!

    • @benedictjajo
      @benedictjajo 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No case or psu + the exclusive micro centre combo discount. If you add those all up, it'll probably be around 1200-1500.

    • @jayb2705
      @jayb2705 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@benedictjajo RAM was recycled from his old rig as well, and the motherboard looked like an open box deal. Going 12th gen Intel instead of 13th probably also nets some savings,
