For reference, how long did it take for you to burnish and completely cover the surface from start to finish?
the whole process took me a little over an hour :)

There is no such thing as bad art. Art is a way we artist show how we feel. It might take time to get to a certain skill level but no matter what level your at, it’s never going to be “ bad”
They must be fake friends (no offense but Im just saying) Keep practicing! I believe in you!

i used to put too much pressure on the pencil and it didn't work but i tried again with a light pressure and it worked. Thank you
So overlapping layers of light pressure can be helpful to get that texture?
Do you recommend drawing at different angles? So not just moving the pencil up or down in the same angle, but varying the angle, also making circular moves.

Coloring in such way costs you not only patience, pencils also wear very fast especially when you do this on the right paper.Thats why I prefer to do the base layer with the marker of watercolor first.

:O IT WORKED I was doing a drawing and colored it and, I need some blending in the eye and it works!
do you layer lightly until there's no paper showing and *then* burnish, or do you layer until a certain point and then burnish so that the paper won't show?
basically do you recommend burnishing while the paper is showing, or only after the paper is covered entirely and there's no paper showing?
the burnished look will appear by layering until no paper shows through :)
@@yair4291 The truth is the more layers you use, the more depth you will get…the problem is that MOST colorists aren’t interested in doing lots of layers. Most colorists aren’t interested in doing images as realistic as it is possible, BUT if that is your ultimate goal, then it is going to require lots of layers, blending, shadows etc., and that requires patience.

I own watercolor wood, they are very cool, you paint and you put water on them with a brush
Do i NEED a makeup brush or can i use a normal paint brush cause i dont have makepup brushes
You can use tissue paper but don't use paint brush.

Tips 3 and 5 are what I needed! When I use colored pencils, they still appear so scratchy! I'm going to try a tissue or Q-tip.
