her drawing is on another level! I mean, If you're just starting out, don't sweat it. Achieving something like that takes serious skills.
This definitely puts a lot of effort into realism because some eople end up doing mistakes when they begin to do realistic portraits by not sharpening the pencils and that's a common mistake that beginners do because they don't notice that sharpening the pencils are the main key into doing a realistic drawing. But this shows what an artist should be. With accurate shading, neat sketching and amazing positioning. Nice one ❤❤❤

I'm used to drawing monochrome, In my personal opinion it takes a great understanding of color theory to be able to get the shades right. I think this will be a great beginner friendly color pencil, since Its not so pricey.

you are so amazing!im also a colored pencil user too but Im mersmerize! its good too that you talked about the lighfastness of brutfuner. i was about to buy one set as an alternative to prismacolor. but i cannot take the risk my commissioned artwork. tnx for making tuts
Are Prismacolors lightfast? I thought maybe just half were light fast. I was surprised at that given how cheap they are.
@@polarbearhero9803 They really aren't. Of course certain colors are because they're naturally lightfast but I would never suggest prismas for commissions.

I LOVE HOW YOU USED GREEN AS AN UNDERTONE AND GREY AS SHADOWS! I could never I can only use warm colours while drawing skin tones since I’m a 🐱:0
Your not lol! It can feel scary to use unusual colors on skin but they help your drawing to look more realistic and vibrant, just apply it in very light strokes to avoid it showing through too much

I really like these Brutfuner pencils. They work well with ethyl achohol in a brush pen or else a blank "magic marker" that i fill with the alchohol. Isopropyl alchohol works, too. I just tolerate the smell of the ethyl alchohol better.

When it comes to Prisma alternative number one is Colleen color pencil because it has a waxy pigments, easy to blend, easy to burnish but I'm shocked of what you did using brutfuner well infact sometimes brutfuner is hard to blend
