This collector gives it a 5 star rating and I haven't even had one in hand yet! 1972 was the pinnacle of my childhood collecting and I've anxiously been waiting for this set. For the first time in 2 years I'm purchasing 2 hobby boxes, joining many breaks and collecting a complete set for the first time since 1989 Upper Deck. I feel like a kid(with money this time) again!!
Considering the short prints I won't collect the set via pack opening. Too expensive. I'm hoping that Topps releases complete sets or j7st pay someone else for their efforts in a few months after everyone else has moved on to newer releases
Thanks......I just rearranged my cards because of your video. I just got into this last week. I bought 2 $45 boxes from Walmart. This helped me understand the process a lot better. According to your video I had a few good hits from those boxes. Thank You!
Thanks for a great review. The set is cool to me, cause I began collection in the early 70's. Back then you got gum in a pack. Today, Relics, Inserts, Autographs, parallels, variations...I need a guide to help me understanding all of this jazz. I will review some of your other videos on cards I collect. Thanks again!!
Hey Vinson, thank you for the very kind words. This is probably the best nostolgia set going these days and it's awesome it takes you back to your 70s collecting days. A lot has changed in the hobby since then, but one thing remains the same - the thrill of finding that sweet card in a pack that you've always wanted.
this is a really informative video! you should do review set for basketball and hockey cards! would like hear what you thing about other set from upper deck and Paninis
These reviews are awesome. They must take you a ton of time to research, but I definitely appreciate the work you put in helping all of us make informed choices about what is out there. Thanks, you've earned this sub! Keep up the great work
Great presentation as always! I was having a conversation with a couple kids yesterday actually about heritage. I said the exact same thing, if you’re a baseball fan it’s great if you’re looking for hits and return of investment immediately or to sell, don’t bother and leave it for the people who truly collect it; these are usually the same people who get in line at three in the morning to get optic football.
Thanks for this. Scored a pile of blasters today. Along with some Series 1 tins. Not looking to flip these. Just collecting. Something fun to do with my son. I think this is a great set for that and for the guys even older than me that were actually ripping 1972 packs in 1972. 🙂
@@1CentSportsCards not gonna lie. Ive been out of baseball for so long that I dont even know if I got anything great lmao. Sleeved up the rookies, big names I know, and inserts/variations. When I get some time later today, im gonna do my due diligence. What do you think is the best online resource for getting a general idea of what has value?
@@SpecialistGuava try this website: sellthepeak.com. you can type a card in and it will tell you the price history of sales on ebay. It even gives you the actual sold price on "best offer accepted" sales.
Yeah, looks like we'll be opening a couple boxes now so it should be fun! Last year we pulled a Throwback Jersey variation which was one of my favorite pulls from 2020. Hopefully we repeat that this year!
Thanks for the review. The 2020 Heritage set was the first set I built after my return to the hobby. With 100 SPs (401-500), it was very difficult to finish off the set and ended up investing more money than I planned. So, having said that, I decided not to go the Heritage route this year and save my money for other products. I may pick up a couple of fat packs or a blaster. Thanks again for the review. They’re always interesting and enjoyable.
I've bought 4 hobby boxes, got 2 signatures and 2 relics. 2 of them were hotboxes and had purple parallels in every pack. Got some nice short prints but no huge money cards.
For heritage, two ways - first, over the card number, there is a word like "action" or "throwback" above the number. 2nd, the card code printed in very small numbers at the bottom will be different than those of a regular code.
I was born in 1972 lol got a Jackie Robinson rookie year award # 368 and mike trout # 88 and 169 and rookie raimel tapia # 469 …. From 9.99 retail box from target 🎯….. yep … aloha from Hawaii
A hot box is a box that has extra "hits" inside - so for Heritage, you can get a hot box that will have 1 purple chrome refractor in each pack. Not all boxes have that. So the ones that do are considered hot boxes.
I love your videos I'm just not a fan of Heritage. I still have a bad taste in my mouth from the 2020 H High Number cost and amount of damaged corners on arrival. This product is a pass for me.
I found a lonely blaster box at target decided to pick it up. Each pack had a purple refractor. I asked the baseball heads they said it was a hot box. Then went to the LCS and got a hobby box of heritage. I opened it last thursday while camping and each pack had a purple refractor, 2 hot boxes in 1 day.
Well, we have the 1st edition checklist so we know who's in it. A little less on the 1sts, but there are some nice names on the list... Austin Martin is in there so we'll all be going bananas over that card!

@@guitarnine that's tough... The SPs make it almost impossible to predict. The fist 400 would be 3 hobby boxes... The last 100... Mich more difficult
Hey, new collector's question here. Is a complete set just all of the base cards without having to have any parallels?
@@ruleaus7664 My answer is , yes.

Your videos are awesome, I’ve been collecting for a long time but just started actually selling for a year and the info you give is so good!
Thanks Andrew! Glad you enjoy them and hope you've been doing well selling!

It's been fun seeing what folks have pulled. Just this morning a patreon of mine sent me pics of a Pache auto and a Pache red he pulled from 1 box.

It is tough to complete. The High numbers can be very difficult especially if you're trying to pack pull them all.
Right on target as usual! Great work👍
Picked up some blasters from my local walmart. Love the look of these cards
Love the set guides and reviews. Thank you!
Thanks for watching Joel! Hope you have good luck finding Heritage and getting some nice pulls!
Got a Box Topper Auto and a Carlos Correa relic....love the style. It does feel like an old style set
Great video!
Thanks for watching Tom!

Love Heritage. I would have this set every year if I collected baseball more.
Awesome review. Thanks!
Thanks Vinay! As always, I appreciate you watching.
Got a Josh bell club house collection and a Roberto clemente the great one. Was happy with it
Nice pulls KD. I like the look of the clubhouse collection relics this year.
Heritage is my favorite set, there’s a good hit in every blaster or mega
It's a really fun set this year for sure.
Great review!
Thank you for watching Ray. Appreciate the kind words!

Well thank you Jay. I appreciy you watching!
Another top notch review. Thank you
As always, that ks for watching Beard Brothers!
Have u noticed there are lots of error cards in this set where the names in the back and front of card are different
Thank you very helpful video! Subbed up
Thanks for watching A Surfer!
Great review of the set. Hoping to build this set but the SP 400s are probably going to be my biggest challenge. 👍🏼
The SPs are tough, but the 2ndary market isn't a bad place to fill the gaps if needed.
You forgot the Red Chrome /372 that have come out in Blasters... not sure if they are coming out of Hobby. GREAT REVIEW! :)
There's always a little surprise they don't let you know about in the sell sheets🤣
Thanks for letting me know and thanks for watching!
I pulled one from a blaster, so they’re not hobby exclusive.
As always.. fantastic review! These really help me since I just recently got back into the hobby! I look forward to these for sure!
Glad you're finding them helpful. Appreciate you watching! Happy pack hunting!
Do Topps heritage blaster boxes guarantee a auto or memorabilia card
No the blasters do not
How can i tell if the card is an image variation??

What if it’s in action, with puzzle piece on the back?
Found quite a few blaster boxes at Walmart
Successful hunt in the wild! Congrats!
New sub here, nice vid! First time opening Heritage and pulled a mini Joey Bart. Can’t find any info on it online, any idea what it can be worth?
The minis are numbered to 100 so I'd say it's pretty valuable. Maybe in the $15-$25 range right now.
What’s a hot box?
A hot box is a box that has the purple parallels in it.
I have bought quite a few hanger boxes of Heritage and have had no luck hitting anything... I'm starting to think hanger boxes are useless?
Same here.
on a few my unopened packs with the blank white card in the back, i can feel a 1/4 x 2" piece of plastic/thing
inside. Do you know what it is?
That's the megnetic chip that prevents people from stealing packs out of stores.

They selling them in target already
Yup... I have a few blasters... Hobby will be Friday

Thanks for watching Mark. That sucks you had some bad boxes go your way. I hope you reached out to Topps to try and get it rectified.
10x better than series 1
That's bold! The autos are real nice.
i bought alot of cards in this set before finding this video. as a flipper, what do you recommend buying for 2021?
Well they are just wrong if they don't like the vintage card stock lol
Vintage card stock is like the small of roses in spring 🤣 LOVE IT!
