I'm a little dissappointed to see this video. When one says philosophy, we mean real philosophy. Religious bullshit is theology. Sati, caste system and other such bullshit are part of theology. I thought you would discuss western philosophy when you said philosophy. When we talk about philosophy, we talk about Nietszche, Schopenhauer, Immanuel Kant, Spinoza, Aristotle, Socratese, Plato , Voltaire and others. Anything from Hinduism except Charvaka can't be considered Philosophy. Buddhism is close to it because the very objective of Buddhism is to find truth. Philosophy has long long ago discarded the idea of a god and such. When science discusses values, what it does is redefining its role and transforms into the new wave philosophy. Stephen Hawking is a scientist philosopher in my opinion. Nietszche's book Beyond Good and Evil has some interesting points about human perception. I expected such a deep discussion because it is Ravi mash but dissappointed to see this school level stuff.
Anything from Hinduism except Charvaka can't be considered philosophy... If by "Hinduism" you are referring to ancient Indian thought, you have to include many more thinkers than just Charvaka. Gautama (the author of Nyaya-sutra), Vachaspati Mishra, Sri Harsha, Gangesha Upadhyaya and many others. (Please read some works by Bimal Krishna Matilal, Jonardon Ganeri etc., to learn about India's contribution to the Epistemology, Philosophy of Language and so on.)

The whole earth science is just concentrated only about earth, moon and sun. None of the scientists never prove or tell nothing about the planets around the sun. Scientifically or logically tell me why the other planets are standing there. For me they are some disturbance to the earth. Also please find some technology to move the sun from its place so that every body can have equal sunlight at least on the tilt of earth. No scientist can prove Philosophy is wrong. No philosopher can make scientific definition for all the moving and non moving lives on earth. I can create so much artificial grass on Sahara desert. ഇതുതന്നെയാണ് പ്രപഞ്ചത്തിന്റെ കാര്യവും. പ്രപഞ്ചം ഇവിടെ ഉണ്ട് എന്നത് ഒരു യാഥാർഥ്യമാണ്. അതുകൊണ്ടു തന്നെ പ്രപഞ്ചത്തിന്റെ സൃഷ്ടിപ്പിന് അനന്തമായ കല്പനയോ, ആജ്ഞയോ, കാരണത്തിന്റെ കാരണമോ ആവശ്യമായിട്ടില്ല എന്ന് വരുന്നു (അനന്തമായ കല്പനയോ, ആജ്ഞയോ, കാരണത്തിന്റെ കാരണമോ ആവശ്യമായിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ നാം കാണുന്ന ഈ പ്രപഞ്ചം ഇവിടെ ഉണ്ടാകുമായിരുന്നില്ലലോ). ഇനി ആകെ അവശേഷിക്കുന്നത് ഈ സൃഷ്ടിപ്പിനുള്ള ആജ്ഞ/കല്പന ആരോടും ചോദിക്കാതെ, ആരെയും ആശ്രയിക്കാതെ കൊടുക്കാൻ കഴിയുന്നതാർക്കു എന്നതാണ്. ആ ശക്തിക്കാണ് ഒരു ദൈവ വിശ്വാസി ശ്രഷ്ടാവായ ദൈവം എന്ന് പറയുന്നത്.
