I came across your channel today. I have also decided to move back to my home country in a few months time. Agriculture is one of the businesses I am targeting and I have to say your channel has been an inspiration. We need more minds like you in Africa who will use their business and strategy knowledge and experiences to solve the perennial issues that have been hindering the growth of our countries. Keep it up.
oooh special congratulations on your decision and thanks so much for the kind words. We need more people who are passionate about the growth of africa for sure.
You are doing a fine job Bayo, I think the story is the same everywhere in Nigeria, inflation is indeed crazy, I was telling someone some time ago that when I started planting oil palm in 2019 fuel for my van to and fro my house to the farm was N2500 now I spend N12000 for the same distance. same with other inputs. Pineapple, Cassava, and Plantain are not really cash crops You need to come to the real cash crops, oil palm, Cocoa, Coconut, etc., especially oil palm, One advantage is that you can intercrop oil palm with pineapple and plantain in between the space in the early 3 years of the plantation.
Comment by mo jo from previously uploaded video Wow Bayo, you went through a lot of these projects. But this was a learning curve. Thank you for sharing all this information.

The Plan-do-check-act Procedure will certainly result in a successful venture. Thank you for sharing your experience and providing guidelines.

Thanks so much, Brother, everything you said here is true, most especially that part were one has to ensure that there is an agreement if the land is already being used by a farmer in the community.

I want to do this farming thing: crop, pigs, and garri processing, meat processing if not too expensive. However, the hands-on angle is my stumbling block. I'll only be in Nigeria for 4 to 5 months next year. Do you plan on integrating animals? And what is the minimum to invest in your farming processes?
Hi Bayo , I live abroad and i have been farming in Nigeria since 2020 , i want to change my style after watching this video , can you connect me with contractors to clear my farm , i don't want to retain clearing farm worker anymore !!, managing them is great problem .
We are harvesting now and expanding to have more land available. we just opened up PHASE II yesterday! Please reach out to us if interested +2349157402945

Amazing video Bayo, I am currently starting a project in Ogun state this week for the year and this came at the right time, I will be planting cassava and corn this time! And I hope it will go well, I took so many notes..so sorry it didn't work as much as you would like the time around but the experience is priceless!

Sometimes the owner needs money and sell the land before the farmer on the land clear it.
