Hi ya, pal. I delivered furniture for years so I had to use hand truck, a lot. One 'trick' is PULL it, not push, it's *much* easier to pull. You may want to change out the wheels on yours, Harbor Freight has 'em. Not a lot larger in diameter but wider, that'll help you some. Have a GREAT day, Neighbor!
Definitely. My equipment has way more than paid for itself. If it’s dimensional lumber that’s a little more time intensive, but for furniture making it’s very much worth it I think
