She claims that she was instrructed to do PR where she didn't mention the movie or the subject matter of the movie (dv) but instead should talk about her clothes, promoting the film like a rom-com and, primarily, promote her own haircare brand and booze. And her husband's movie. Which makes zero sense for the production company so, yeah, that claim smells like something that dropped from a horse's backside.

I never got that claim - the majority of the negative stories about Blake during this press tour weren't rumours or allegations, but literal footage of her behaviour. And yeah, some were from a while ago, but a hell of a lot weren't. How can those stories be "planted" when it all comes from her?

As you said it’s a he said/she said situation right now and I for one don’t believe most people in Hollywood or the media in general. Of course when you read Blake’s complaint it’s going to paint Justin in a negative light and when you read his response it will paint her in one because they want the best shot at winning. I will say despite Blake’s interviews or mean girl moments on past jobs or even if you think she’s a good person or not, if she is telling the truth no one deserves that and she should continue pursuing this lawsuit and get the justice she deserves. If she’s lying and this is all a way to boost her image then that is horrible and I hope she is held accountable and takes accountability. As for Justin I don’t know if he’s a good guy or not. It could be that he’s a better interviewer or no one has ever spoken out on him before. I only know of him from Jane the Virgin and while I never heard anything negative about him then, doesn’t mean that we should discard what’s being said about him now. If he did do all this I sincerely hope he is held accountable and takes accountability for it. If he is right then I hope he gets the justice he deserves. For now, I’m choosing to wait until everything that can be is presented before “choosing a side” because reporting and dealing with DV isn’t a trivial matter. So far all I see is a lot of back and forth and an important issue being packaged as just some Hollywood drama.

Didn’t this all start when Blake and the cast members unfollowed Justin so people got curious and started speculating/investigating? If there was a smear campaign against Blake, I don’t think Justin would have started it and risk having his movie and money go down the drain for bad publicity; also Ryan and Blake are both A-list celebs that have so much sway on Hollywood. It just doesn’t make sense to me to provoke them at the cost of it backfiring on him.
Everyone's conveniently forgetting about this tbh. Didn't the whole cast actively avoid talking about him during the press tour? Some of the women in the film even spoke out in support of Blake. Obviously they could've sided with Blake because she's the bigger star, but he could have also made them uncomfortable too. With these allegations coming out, guess which one is more likely.

I mean of one woman tells me that a man was harassing her (whether she’s telling the truth or not) i will definitely stay as far away from that man as possible. Now referring back to the case, i feel like the other actors would have spoken out about witnessing what Blake was claiming since everything that happened happened on set, yet no one spoke up about the details and their only support was in the form of “Blake is strong and amazing we believe he” lol.
I have no dog in this fight, and no evidence to say one way or the other. From what we were told when allegations came out he (1) weight shamed her: she had just given birth, he has a history of lower back problems and asked her trainer what she weighed so that he could prepare to lift her safely. I can understand how that can feel insulting but realistically he has a right to protect is health and he was taking the burden on himself to be strong enough not putting it on her to lose weight. The other allegation was that (2) he kissed her longer than was expected for a scene. That's not okay. If this happened while they were on set there would be witnesses, maybe even recorded footage of this assault. Until that's addressed (if it hasn't been already) we can't say for sure. There's nothing to say it's a lie so it's definitely on the board until disproved. The publicists (3) doesn't seem like reliable evidence to me. At least if the allegations that she ruins clients that leave her agency are true. Baldoni wouldn't be the first if that's the case and can certainly call on former clients of hers and former employees who also suffered abuse if they leave. That's not to say that nothing happened or that he's a saint (I'm doubtful of most men in hollywood at this point) but the timing of things seems odd to me. That coupled with her status and her husbands I just can't fathom why anyone would target her. But sexual violence isn't about attraction, it's about power. All in all I hope that Blake wasn't assaulted but if that was the case Baldoni and everyone connected with covering for him need to get theirs in a court of law.
It does kind of track to me though that her trying to flex her (and her husband's) power in the production encouraged Baldoni and the other producer guy to pull this stuff to try and "put her in her place." A lot of sexual harassment I have experienced/witnessed personally has had this kind of retaliatory nature -- trying to assert power over her to squash her/intimidate her into shrinking back and stop pushing/fighting for themselves/their ideas/etc, or simply drive her off entirely, or make her seem like the unprofessional one for always "causing trouble" or "making drama." Sorry, I worked in restaurants for a decade and this kind of thing was appallingly regular. I don't think, regardless, her press run was a good look- even if she was told to market it like a rom com she went beyond that for sure in all of her attempts to cross market inappropriately. If the NYT has it right, she certainly made the PR team's job easy for them, unfortunately.The movie was exceedingly bad in a bland, shallow, and over-sexxed way and so really for it to have engendered this much brouhaha the flames were definitely being intentionally fanned from somewhere.

What I want to know why exactly is it that they continue to comply with her demands since they have her contract, so what exactly is it that scares them so much, that they would allow her to run their own company. But honesty with how many people are involved with this and how many things that should be documented in various ways it should be somewhat easy to verify

To be honest, I don't think you can look at the SH allegations as seperate to everything else that happened with this project (not talking about other behaviour unrelated to this film). SH is about power and people are saying that as the director (and a man) he had more power by default, but are completely ignoring that during their entire work relationship she's accused of misconduct by abusing her power to control everything about the project. It is questionable that she repeatedly said how much influence she (and Ryan) had but when it comes to alleged SH that influence suddenly didn't apply anymore. So for this case specifically, I don't think you can point blank seperate the accusations and behaviours in different situations because her power in the work relationship IS important for any alleged work SH accusation. I hope that makes sense. Ultimately, I think it's way too early to judge either party innocent or guilty because it's just initial complaints so far.

2024 was the worst year of my family's life. My father-in-law passed of cancer, my mother and nan were diagnosed and survived cancer. Three funerals. All close to my mother in law, she lost her friend, her brother and the love of her life. Family pets passed. The heart of the family for 15 years. Watching my mother-in-law struggle with her new reality is heartbreaking and hard. New years for us as a family is a big FUCK YOU to 2024 and holling in the new year, the first grandbaby will be born and it will be healthy (touch wood). The grandparents on both sides are still going strong. We will scatter the ashes of those who passed and travel to their favorite places in 2025. Regarding the gym, haven't gone in three months, will try next month or the one after LOL If you struggle with resolutions and goals, just focus on what you are looking forward to do/to have in the next year. Getting fit isn't everything.
I started off the new year in the hospital throwing up with a viral infection, then a few days later I discovered that my AirPods must have fallen out of my jacket when it fell off the hospital chair and I was hooked up to IVs so I couldn’t check for it. I heard something fall, but my phone fell as well so I thought it was just that and I was able to reach my phone from the hospital bed, but I’m guessing the AirPods went under the bed. It can only go up from here I hope 🤞🏻 luckily the doctor gave me a note so I could take a few days off so even though I was still in a lot of pain, I kind of got a mini vacation to start off the year so I’m taking it as a win (even though life without AirPods has been very boring lol)

I was a loyal viewer for years, your takes on Amber Heard really turned me off of your channel, I finally starting watching your videos again and now this title has me worried. I don't have much faith based on the comments you've hearted but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and watch the full video, though it seems you have a pattern of supporting (or at least being far too kind towards) abusive men. I am extremely disappointed.
This reminds me a lot of what happened with the Johnny Depp / Amber Herd Trial. At the end of that trial I just came to the conclusion that they're both horrible people who abused each other. I'm getting similar vibes now. I don't want to form a complete opinion just yet because it feels like much more is going to come to light. However, I do feel it's sort of shady for Lively's camp to be so selective about what texts they showed in the lawsuit and erasing a lot of the context by during so. I also find it interesting that Renyolds would make light of the situation in Deadpool & Wolverine with the Nicepool character if the whole situation was so upsetting to them. Let's not forget that Lively also made claims during the red carpet of IEWU that Ryan made edits to the script during the writers strike which would make him a scab. The whole thing just feels like two powerful white people coming after an up and coming director of color(I know he's been in Jane the Virgin but he's not as much of a household name as Lively/Reynolds). If I were Baldoni I would sue for defemation after this whole thing because I'm not sure how many people would want to work with him after the dust settles.

I think that most of the 17 point harassment list are basically her saying “don’t share your own life with me, I’m not interested in you” and only if that behaviour persisted after she complained then it would be counted harassment. For all we know that happened during a conversation where everyone was sharing about spiritual experiences they had. Baldoni definitely crossed the line saying that but I get the impression he tries not unless the vibes seem to allow it.

The texts literally show Justin's team did NOT plant stories. Also, the husband of Stephanie Jones, who is teamed up with Blake, is a partner in the agency Justin was dropped from. Also, you seem to be so married to the idea that Justin, who has far less power than Blake, sexually harassed her while she took over HIS movie he bought the rights to before the book became a big success, that you didn't even note that in the texts Blake invites Justin to her trailer while she's pumping breastmilk, and that she signs one of the texts with an X, which stands for kiss. So, she was sending a kiss to the person she now claims sexually harassed her while she hijacked his movie out from under him because she and her husband have undeniable power in the industry. Perhaps instead of being so invested in her being a victim of sexual harassment, in future videos you should actually look that the evidence logically. What's interesting for me is that she was the one saying all those awful things in those interviews, and no one made her say all of that, and yet she is blaming everyone but herself?
She claims that she was instrructed to do PR where she didn't mention the movie or the subject matter of the movie (dv) but instead should talk about her clothes, promoting the film like a rom-com and, primarily, promote her own haircare brand and booze. And her husband's movie.
Which makes zero sense for the production company so, yeah, that claim smells like something that dropped from a horse's backside.

And has contemporaneous texts (that they never thought anyone would see) where they criticize him for refusing to let them attack her or plant negative stories. And where he’s repeatedly seeking assurances from them that they wouldn’t attack her or boost negative stories about her.
I never got that claim - the majority of the negative stories about Blake during this press tour weren't rumours or allegations, but literal footage of her behaviour. And yeah, some were from a while ago, but a hell of a lot weren't. How can those stories be "planted" when it all comes from her?

As you said it’s a he said/she said situation right now and I for one don’t believe most people in Hollywood or the media in general.
Of course when you read Blake’s complaint it’s going to paint Justin in a negative light and when you read his response it will paint her in one because they want the best shot at winning.
I will say despite Blake’s interviews or mean girl moments on past jobs or even if you think she’s a good person or not, if she is telling the truth no one deserves that and she should continue pursuing this lawsuit and get the justice she deserves. If she’s lying and this is all a way to boost her image then that is horrible and I hope she is held accountable and takes accountability.
As for Justin I don’t know if he’s a good guy or not. It could be that he’s a better interviewer or no one has ever spoken out on him before. I only know of him from Jane the Virgin and while I never heard anything negative about him then, doesn’t mean that we should discard what’s being said about him now. If he did do all this I sincerely hope he is held accountable and takes accountability for it. If he is right then I hope he gets the justice he deserves.
For now, I’m choosing to wait until everything that can be is presented before “choosing a side” because reporting and dealing with DV isn’t a trivial matter. So far all I see is a lot of back and forth and an important issue being packaged as just some Hollywood drama.

If there was a smear campaign against Blake, I don’t think Justin would have started it and risk having his movie and money go down the drain for bad publicity; also Ryan and Blake are both A-list celebs that have so much sway on Hollywood. Now referring back to the case, i feel like the other actors would have spoken out about witnessing what Blake was claiming since everything that happened happened on set, yet no one spoke up about the details and their only support was in the form of “Blake is strong and amazing we believe he” lol.

I have no dog in this fight, and no evidence to say one way or the other. From what we were told when allegations came out he (1) weight shamed her: she had just given birth, he has a history of lower back problems and asked her trainer what she weighed so that he could prepare to lift her safely. I can understand how that can feel insulting but realistically he has a right to protect is health and he was taking the burden on himself to be strong enough not putting it on her to lose weight.
The other allegation was that (2) he kissed her longer than was expected for a scene. That's not okay. If this happened while they were on set there would be witnesses, maybe even recorded footage of this assault. Until that's addressed (if it hasn't been already) we can't say for sure. There's nothing to say it's a lie so it's definitely on the board until disproved.
The publicists (3) doesn't seem like reliable evidence to me. At least if the allegations that she ruins clients that leave her agency are true. Baldoni wouldn't be the first if that's the case and can certainly call on former clients of hers and former employees who also suffered abuse if they leave.
That's not to say that nothing happened or that he's a saint (I'm doubtful of most men in hollywood at this point) but the timing of things seems odd to me. That coupled with her status and her husbands I just can't fathom why anyone would target her. But sexual violence isn't about attraction, it's about power. All in all I hope that Blake wasn't assaulted but if that was the case Baldoni and everyone connected with covering for him need to get theirs in a court of law.
I’m doubtful of women in Hollywood too including those who identify as women and women who identify as men.
It does kind of track to me though that her trying to flex her (and her husband's) power in the production encouraged Baldoni and the other producer guy to pull this stuff to try and "put her in her place." A lot of sexual harassment I have experienced/witnessed personally has had this kind of retaliatory nature -- trying to assert power over her to squash her/intimidate her into shrinking back and stop pushing/fighting for themselves/their ideas/etc, or simply drive her off entirely, or make her seem like the unprofessional one for always "causing trouble" or "making drama." Sorry, I worked in restaurants for a decade and this kind of thing was appallingly regular.
I don't think, regardless, her press run was a good look- even if she was told to market it like a rom com she went beyond that for sure in all of her attempts to cross market inappropriately. If the NYT has it right, she certainly made the PR team's job easy for them, unfortunately.The movie was exceedingly bad in a bland, shallow, and over-sexxed way and so really for it to have engendered this much brouhaha the flames were definitely being intentionally fanned from somewhere.
on (2): from what i understand, she skipped the meeting with intimacy coordinator so he had to take the meeting himself and explained to her later on set what the meeting resulted in. and i know full well i'm trying to find excuses for an SA allegation and I HATE THIS SO MUCH.

What I want to know why exactly is it that they continue to comply with her demands since they have her contract, so what exactly is it that scares them so much, that they would allow her to run their own company.
Also Emily D. Baker went through Justin Baldoni's lawsuit yesterday and multiple things he was saying didn't make sense, and the added context to alot of the phonetexts didn't change the meaning. For example in one they just changed the topic after the texts Blake Lively used in her suit. Like how does that change the meaning? Also Justin Baldoni was all like Blake Lively refused to meet the intimacy coordinator but the text they included from Blake Lively was just like no I'm good right now, I'll meet them closer to the filming starts, like again how is this an absolute refusal to meet with the intimacy coordinator?
But honesty with how many people are involved with this and how many things that should be documented in various ways it should be somewhat easy to verify

I watched the credits of the movie and she is listed as a producer. I feel like no one has any idea what really happened.
It’s covered in the document from Justin’s team. She basically threatened and strong armed her way into getting that producer titled with a lot of other shitty things as well. I encourage people to actually read the document before forming opinions because watching commentary TH-camrs doesn’t get the whole story which is not there fault it’s 87 pages and a lot to to cover in a short video but that why it’s best to get the info for yourself.

His side has now provided the full conversations for the texts and it looks like she was trying to make it seem like he was the bad guy, when in reality she was manufacturing a false image of his character to the public to smear him

To be honest, I don't think you can look at the SH allegations as seperate to everything else that happened with this project (not talking about other behaviour unrelated to this film). SH is about power and people are saying that as the director (and a man) he had more power by default, but are completely ignoring that during their entire work relationship she's accused of misconduct by abusing her power to control everything about the project. It is questionable that she repeatedly said how much influence she (and Ryan) had but when it comes to alleged SH that influence suddenly didn't apply anymore. So for this case specifically, I don't think you can point blank seperate the accusations and behaviours in different situations because her power in the work relationship IS important for any alleged work SH accusation. I hope that makes sense. Ultimately, I think it's way too early to judge either party innocent or guilty because it's just initial complaints so far.

2024 was the worst year of my family's life. My father-in-law passed of cancer, my mother and nan were diagnosed and survived cancer.
Three funerals. All close to my mother in law, she lost her friend, her brother and the love of her life.
Family pets passed. The heart of the family for 15 years.
Watching my mother-in-law struggle with her new reality is heartbreaking and hard.
New years for us as a family is a big FUCK YOU to 2024 and holling in the new year, the first grandbaby will be born and it will be healthy (touch wood). The grandparents on both sides are still going strong. We will scatter the ashes of those who passed and travel to their favorite places in 2025.
Regarding the gym, haven't gone in three months, will try next month or the one after LOL
If you struggle with resolutions and goals, just focus on what you are looking forward to do/to have in the next year. Getting fit isn't everything.

I started off the new year in the hospital throwing up with a viral infection, then a few days later I discovered that my AirPods must have fallen out of my jacket when it fell off the hospital chair and I was hooked up to IVs so I couldn’t check for it. I heard something fall, but my phone fell as well so I thought it was just that and I was able to reach my phone from the hospital bed, but I’m guessing the AirPods went under the bed. It can only go up from here I hope 🤞🏻 luckily the doctor gave me a note so I could take a few days off so even though I was still in a lot of pain, I kind of got a mini vacation to start off the year so I’m taking it as a win (even though life without AirPods has been very boring lol)

I was a loyal viewer for years, your takes on Amber Heard really turned me off of your channel, I finally starting watching your videos again and now this title has me worried. I don't have much faith based on the comments you've hearted but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and watch the full video, though it seems you have a pattern of supporting (or at least being far too kind towards) abusive men. I am extremely disappointed.
This reminds me a lot of what happened with the Johnny Depp / Amber Herd Trial. At the end of that trial I just came to the conclusion that they're both horrible people who abused each other. I'm getting similar vibes now. I don't want to form a complete opinion just yet because it feels like much more is going to come to light. However, I do feel it's sort of shady for Lively's camp to be so selective about what texts they showed in the lawsuit and erasing a lot of the context by during so. I also find it interesting that Renyolds would make light of the situation in Deadpool & Wolverine with the Nicepool character if the whole situation was so upsetting to them. Let's not forget that Lively also made claims during the red carpet of IEWU that Ryan made edits to the script during the writers strike which would make him a scab. The whole thing just feels like two powerful white people coming after an up and coming director of color(I know he's been in Jane the Virgin but he's not as much of a household name as Lively/Reynolds). If I were Baldoni I would sue for defemation after this whole thing because I'm not sure how many people would want to work with him after the dust settles.

One of my resolutions this year is just to believe women. Women put EVERYTHING at stake by making allegations like this and men are largely unaffected by them, as men can commit WORSE offenses and still be elected president of a 1st world country 🙃 I don’t care that she’s “a bigger name than him w more money”, how many big name actresses have quickly fallen from grace after even alluding to toxic environments on a set??? I agree. Yeah that was shocking to read the father part.. but so were those NYT published texts until we saw them in context. I think that most of the 17 point harassment list are basically her saying “don’t share your own life with me, I’m not interested in you” and only if that behaviour persisted after she complained then it would be counted harassment. For all we know that happened during a conversation where everyone was sharing about spiritual experiences they had. Baldoni definitely crossed the line saying that but I get the impression he tries not unless the vibes seem to allow it.
I usually believe women over men. But something about the way lively conducts herself in interviews makes me doubt her.

Your comment early in the video after several minutes of stuff about the new year, saying that any man getting an award from Voices of Solidarity or something similar is a "red flag" displays a bias on your part and is prejudicial, which may be why you got some of the facts wrong later, like claiming Justin's team planted some stories. The texts literally show Justin's team did NOT plant stories. Also, the husband of Stephanie Jones, who is teamed up with Blake, is a partner in the agency Justin was dropped from. Also, you seem to be so married to the idea that Justin, who has far less power than Blake, sexually harassed her while she took over HIS movie he bought the rights to before the book became a big success, that you didn't even note that in the texts Blake invites Justin to her trailer while she's pumping breastmilk, and that she signs one of the texts with an X, which stands for kiss. So, she was sending a kiss to the person she now claims sexually harassed her while she hijacked his movie out from under him because she and her husband have undeniable power in the industry. Perhaps instead of being so invested in her being a victim of sexual harassment, in future videos you should actually look that the evidence logically. I'm a woman, and I've been actually sexually harassed, and based on evidence and the power dynamic of this situation, it is VERY unlikely that Justin sexual harassed her.
