    Glad to see someone come up with a solution to this problem. I've been into 100's of these things and its never the aluminum boding wire that's bad. Its pretty much always cold joints on bga packages. Likely stress from consistent over heating and cooling mixed with the vibration. I did a video about it awhile back on my channel.

    Highly Recommend this unit. I’m in Australia so it was going to be a longer wait for GM parts. The unit works perfectly and my truck is back on the Road. Big shout out to ATS Diesel for providing a great soloution to a really bad predicament given to us by GM.👍👍

    It worked great on my truck, shifts better. Definitely worth the upgrade since GM never is going to make replacement. Plus this one wont fail again because of the same problem. Totally different TCM design.

    Sounds like a great concept but for almost quadruple the price of standard tcm replacement I’ll stick to either a gm replacement or a dans replacement for a 1/3 of the price.

    I have replaced this part once and it is acting up again. How much is it? Does it need to be programmed to my VIN?

    Plug and play is misleading. I bought one of these almost 2 weeks ago and my truck is still down because they left out the part where you have to drop the tranny to swap out the turbine speed sensor.

      @@VB-zf8kpya I've had it about a month. Easy install, only issue I've noticed is that my remote start doesn't work anymore, getting a "lost communication with TCM, low bus voltage" code erratically. I'm still chasing that down as it may be a harness issue. It never throws the check engine light though. Other than that it drives great, definitely notice the co-pilot function as it holds shifts much better.

  • @richhulsizer1049
    @richhulsizer1049 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Allison has upgraded the TCM. That is why you can't get them. The new one has fins in a v shape. It no longer has that issue. You can get them from a Chevy or Allison dealer that works on semi trucks.
