      People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. The history of the domination you support has huge problems. Your current history of Miriam (aka Mary) dates to the 1800s. She called Jesus her salvation. “You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. This one of the biggest of the don't of the Ten Commandments. This one is smashed to pieces .😢

      You know what - Bible isnt just to read but experience it.
      Your doubt about Catholic Christian as the same as non Christians.
      Its like Judaism who reject Jesus Christ and Islam who accept Isa but refuse as God.
      The similarity that both are in grey not bright.
      I converted to be Catholic Christian after The Lord Jesus visited me and His message is about to have a clean heart.
      God bless you🙏 ImmanueL.

      God forbid graven images among the Israelites because they treated the images they created as gods. Catholics don't treat images or statues as divine or as gods. So we are not practicing idolatry. So keep that in mind the next time you want to say Catholics worship images or statues. We don't.

    Hey Daisy, I know you won’t think this is weird but perhaps it will be to those lurking in the comments - but I wanted to tell you that years ago when I heard of your story, I told my husband and he decided to spiritually adopt you and your husband. We haven’t been able to have as many children as we hoped and therefore he has decided to spiritually adopt people and pray for them every day. So he has prayed for you and your husband every day, along with the other people he has adopted, and will do so until he dies. We also converted to Catholicism in 2017 after a lifetime in the Protestant church. Thanks for sharing your story and May God bless you!

      But I stayed with God.

      what Jesus wanted, what all spiritual teachings want to lead us to.

    This is an amazing testimony! I am a Catholic priest and at times have my faith tested in the most sacred moments. I believe that is part of the spspiritual warfare that we are in. The devil hates the most sacred things so he tries to discourage us from engaging in those things that are most sacred. Thank you so much for taking the time to make this testimony!For some reason I cannot see the words I am typing so I cannot go back to correct my typos or grammar even when I press edit. So discipher my comments as best you can :) Remember the phrase: God forgets your sins and calls you by your name; the dvil forgets your name and calls you by your sins. Saint Martin of Tours on his death bed saw the devil near his bed so he rebuked him saying, "Why do you stand there, you bloodthirsty brute? Murderer, you will not have me for your prey."

    What a beautiful testimony. Thank you Daisy. I'm a spanish catholic and all the things you said are very true. In my case my conversion to Christ was on a spiritual retreat. I was catholic but not a very good one. I remember when I confessed all my sins to the priest an owerwhelming love of Jesus filled my heart. It's very difficult to explain because it's beyond to whatever experience... and started to cry like a baby of pure joy. And after realize that all makes sense: the scriptures, the catholic faith... like closing a circle, and all was beautiful. Keep close to Virgin Mary she is the path to Jesus. Also today december the 8th it's the celebration of the Immaculate Conception of Mary, which means she was born without the mark of the original sin. She is the mother of God and our mother. Thank you again for your testimony Daisy.

    Daisy, I listened to this video yesterday and then again this morning. In the interim I listened to many of your older videos and interviews, including the Allie Beth Stuckey videos. With a better understanding of your journey, the second listen was much more impact full. My wife and I reverted to Catholism about two years after we were married outside the Church. Like you, one of the issues that led us to reinvestigate the claims of the Catholic Church was how to raise our soon to be born daughter. That was over twenty-five years ago. The more one studies scripture, Church history, and lives the Catholic life, utilizing the sacraments and sacramentals, the more it is clear that it is the Church Christ founded. Welcome home. I will add you and your family to my daily prayer intentions.

    About Guadalupe. I know you were summarising, but what really gives me special connection to it is not all the miraculous facets of the image, but rather words of Mary. "Juanito, am I not here, I who am your mother?". In these few words she made every man, woman and child who loves her the sibling of Jesus. Your race, skin color, social standing, disabilities, deformations all fade away. The only thing that remains is the loving gaze of a mother to her child.

    Daisy, your testimony is very compelling and I’m certain it will resonate with a lot people who’ve had similar struggles. We Catholics have not been very good about sharing our personal journey through life and faith so I think what you are doing is much needed. I was raised Catholic and then joined the Presbyterian (PC USA) where I stayed for about 15 years. In recent years I became disenchanted with it and returned to the Catholic church. I couldn’t be happier with my decision. My Catholic faith provides me with inner peace, hope, and it keeps me grounded in this difficult times we live in. I will keep you and your family in my prayers. I’m originally from Mexico City and loved to hear you’ve found peace through our Lady of Guadalupe.

I was happy to see you seek God through your struggles but obviously saddened that you felt that you couldn't be a Christian. I prayed for you then to find the truth of the Catholic church, especially when you described your frustrations with protestantism. I saw little bits of "news" when you had your son and prayed for you again. This morning when your video popped up in my youtube feed I was overjoyed. Thank you for sharing your story. Belated welcome home to you your husband and son, my sister in Christ. Welcome home. p.s. Remember this, the evil one will try to go after you, but as long as you continue to go to confession and receive our Lord regularly, he will have no power over you. I, like you, could never be other than catholic, as I could never see my life without being able to receive our Lord, or not being able to go to Adoration and be with Him... Thank you for sharing such a sincere testimony. This is the first time I have even heard about you, but I was captivated by your story.
    I especially related to what you said about when you were pregnant, thinking how you wanted to raise your child. I was a lukewarm protestant before I had children. I remember my entire world seemed to be collapsing around me when I found out I was going to be a father. I felt so unworthy. To put it simply, I was sh.. scared!
    I realised I was going to be an image of the living God for my son, and that I needed to be a better man, a MUCH better man. I also realised that as he grew up, I would have to transmit to him the truth. So, I decided to get serious about praying. Someone recommended the Rosary... and, as they say, the rest is history.

    When I also feel unworthy of receiving Holy Communion, I remember this passage from St. Faustina's diary: "Once, I desired very much to receive Holy Communion, but I had a certain doubt, and I did not go. I suffered greatly because of this. It seemed to me that my heart would burst from the pain. When I set about my work, my heart full of bitterness, Jesus suddenly stood by me and said, 'My daughter, do not omit Holy Communion unless you know well that your fall was serious; apart from this, no doubt must stop you from uniting yourself with Me in the mystery of My love. Your minor faults will disappear in My love like a piece of straw thrown into a great furnace. Know that you grieve Me much when you fail to receive Me in Holy Communion'" (paragraph unit 156, p. 87, Notebook 1).

    Hi Daisy, I'm protestant but encouraged and thankful that God and his character met you through the Catholic church. I recently switched from reformed Baptist to Presbyterian, which is a lot more reverant about the sacrements, doctrine, litergy, and tradition, so I understand where you're coming from. Jesus really unites all in ways that transcend our own logic and human nature of separating ourselves. Much blessings and prayers, from one sister in Christ to another ❤️

      Hi from Jerry. I have some experience with different denoms and one weakness with most Presbyterian Churches is that they no longer teach or encourage about the need to be born again through faith in the gospel. It is becoming more sacramental.
      We are born again by the word of God.
      1 Peter 1:9,18-19,23
      [9]Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.
      [18]Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;
      [19]But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
      [23]Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
      Note that the word is the seed which will sprout up and grow into our salvation.
      Parable of the sower...
      Matthew 13:3-9,18-23
      [3]And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow;
      [4]And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up:
      [5]Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth:
      [6]And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away.
      [7]And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them:
      [8]But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.
      [9]Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.
      [18]Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower.
      [19]When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.
      [20]But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it;
      [21]Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.
      [22]He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.
      [23]But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.
      Hope this may help make sense of it!

    What you said about the Eucharist, the way you described it, was so similar to how I thought!
    (very shortened version) I grew up catholic, thought i knew everything, walked away from the church thinking it would be forever. Years later, became curious about Catholicism. Along side other things i was learning, when i learned that Catholics actually believed the real presence i thought "that is so bold a belief, at the least i have to respect it" then it just becomes clearer and clearer. I quickly realised i wanted that to be my life.
    Great video! God bless you.

      Love it. Just a point to help explain it to others. It isn’t that the Church makes the bold claim. It’s that Jesus makes the bold claim in John 6 over and over that unless we eat His flesh and drink His blood, we have no life in us. The Church just says “yes sir” and makes sure our doctrine lines up with His teaching :)

    The Advent is one of the moments we have a series of devotions to make us reflect upon the incarnation of our salvation as Our Lord Jesus Christ.
    The Ember Days are not directly related to the Advent, but it is a celebration to the change of season, which is a God's creation.
    Then we also have the O Antiphon and the Rorate Mass (celebrated mostly on Saturdays throughout the month until the Advent, under candles lighting) and the very own advent novena, with reflexive meditations by saint Alphonsus Marie de Liguori.
    A family strong and loving like yours has a lot to strengthen through those devotions.
    May all of you always understand how your lives are meant to be a constant offering to God.

    Delightful story of your conversion to the Roman Church. Personally, when things get dark I think of a prayer from a character in a Saul Bellow novel 'Seize the Day,' Tommy Wilhelm:
    "O God, Let me out of my trouble. Let me out of my thoughts, and let me do something better with myself. For all the time I have wasted I am very sorry. Let me out of this clutch and into a different life. For I am all balled up. Lord have mercy!
