I was born and confirmed Catholic then at 13 years I followed my sister to non denominational church and stayed away 33 years. I returned to Catholic Church 2 years ago and received all my Sacraments. God has been so kind to me.
If a so called non denom existed which they don’t it would still be a denom. (and you’ll find those who belong to a so called non denom think there better then everyone else!). Now to the painful truth You have the holy Catholic Church. You have 48,000 man made protestant CULTS. The Bible is a Catholic book the protestant Bible is an incomplete and corrupted Catholic book which I’d rip up. To be Christian one must belong to the holy Catholic Church because it’s the ONLY CHURCH. God bless.
When pentecostal revival was introduced in the 1980s, I attended most crusades out of curiosity but found it boring and too noisy with all the hype in music singing dancing and speaking tongues unlike the Catholic holy mass. Luckily I never attended many alter calls..today most of these loca smalll churches have died out as they continued to splinter.
I am a Muslim convert to Christianity Catholic and it is beautiful ❤️ but I am living in exile. It's God's grace that I am still alive and kicking ❤ I believe Mother Mary continues to intercede for me😊 I am away from family but my God is with me in thick and thin ❤
As I am in the process of converting to Catholicism from a non-denominational/Baptist background, Sophia’s story is so relatable. When she said “it was fear that Catholicism was right..”That’s so true. I grew up on Protestantism being the only right way and that Catholics worship Mary and are bounded by Rome. But I was invited to a Christmas Mass December of last year and fell in love with the history and traditions of the Catholic Church. I found a lot of Protestantism is driven by hate and misinformation. I could have never envisioned myself becoming a Catholic. Yet, by the grace of God, here I am.
That's what's so frustrating and sad that it's so driven by hate and misinformation, and they don't seem to care. They claim to follow God but don't act like they follow him when it comes to Catholicism. That's why we pray for them a lot.
I am a Catholic from India. I am a catholic from childhood but also have a baptist background from my mother's side. I have grown in my faith, reading the Bible and the lives of the saints, their witnesses. I am about to be ordained to priesthood next January. Please pray for me! I wish that all the protestant brothers and sisters have their eyes opened by the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Well God bless you in your calling of priesthood. It won't be easy but through trails and tribulations your reward will be huge. Stay true to God, read the Bible and may God walk with you through your journey.
After studying Church history and reading the Bible I came back to Catholicism following years of atheism and exploring other faiths. I'm here to stay. Hello from the Russian Greek Catholic Church.
@@TriciaPerry-mz7tcI don't want to be negative to our sister here but the devil has access to our "feelings". I admire her reservation about repeating the lord's name though, as this is a practice I also learned in Catholic formation 60 years ago. Protestants in particular have zero reservation about including the holy name as often and frequently as possible everywhere. Disappointingly now copied by many Catholics. Like the orans position at Mass, a pentecostal practice, not in the Roman Missal. I further notice boo remorse for the destruction of our sacramentals, the rosaries and statues. I pray this woman will steady herself and grow in the faith.

I'm going to share something with you. I too heard a lot of lies about Catholics and I believed them. Especially when people would show me Scriptures. If your wife is against Catholicism, showing her Catholic material won't convince her. I read Catholic material and I just thought they were a bit fanatic. It took first and foremost, God in my life. This is what helped me. I heard the lie about "good works religion". Catholics had to earn their salvation through works. Then I read "Message to Christian Workers," by D.L. Moody. Read that sermon. It will blow your mind. I know D.L. Moody is not Catholic, but he realized that every human is a tree, and like trees, we bear fruit. We either bear Fruits of the Spirit, or Fruits of the Flesh. Jesus said the Holy Spirit is like wind because wind never stops moving. The Holy Spirit is active, and because He is active, He wants to work for God. Because the Holy Spirit is living inside me, I can't be a couch potato. After reading that sermon, I thought, "My goodness! The Catholics are right!" You see, everything started in the Catholic church. But if you go straight to the origin, many Protestants are prejudiced and don't want to look at it. Just keep praying for your wife.
Same with my husband, and he will not wavier because his entire family would disown him. He really does not have the strength to go against his mother.
Protestants do not want any "catholic", we want people to believe in God and his word, not follow traditions, false words etc. It's sad to see people go catholic, and not follow the word of Jesus. But I guess that is what you say is "best of protestant"? God bless you. 1 Timothy 2:5: For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, (Not Mary in any shape or form), So please send us your "worst catholic", they maybe give honor to God, not Mary.
@Giraf1964 you should read the rest of that sentence from the Bible. Or even the rest of 1 Timothy. St. Paul literally asks us to pray for each other. So verse 2:5 actually just can't mean what you are saying it means. Good thing St. Paul clarified exactly what he meant in the rest of the sentence. 1 Timothy 2:1-6 "First of all, then, I ask that supplications, prayers, petitions, and thanksgivings be offered for everyone, for kings and all in authority, that we may lead a quiet and tranquil life in all devotion and dignity. This is good and pleasing to God our savior, who wills everyone to be saved and to come to knowledge of the truth. For there is one God. There is also one mediator between God and the human race, Christ Jesus, himself human, who gave himself as a ransom for all." So St. Paul is actually quite clear about the type of mediation that exists between God, Jesus, and man, while explicitly excluding the type of mediation you implied it means in 1 Timothy 2:1
@@sgtadhesive9044 Pray for each other, it's not the problem. You Catholics pray not for Mary, but TO Mary as a mediator. Mary was only a human like you and me, and is not God. Like the bible say, there is ONE mediator, and it's not Mary. "For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus" Where do you see Mary in that line?

That is a prerequisite for a true child of GOD. Manmade religion will rob you of your right as a child of GOD with mumbo jumbo. Colossians 3 there is something that happens to the child that has risen with Christ seeking those things which are above. The true Damascus road experience shows what happens when that happens in Act 26.

Where in the Bible says catholicism is the truth? 😢 PLEASE Jesus is the only Truth, not catholicism Jesus is everywhere, salvation is not depend on what church you are, salvation is individual and it's all about personal relationships with you and God, name of Church won't save anyone, preach Jesus the way of salvation instead of preaching catholicism, there is nowhere in the Bible says salvation is in the name of Church
@@minosoachristine551 Thank you for the question. The word Catholic cannot be directly found in the bible because it is a greek word. It came from "Kataholos" which means "universal". This is as complicated as the word "Trinity" can never be found in the bible; yet you are NOT considered a christian if you dont believe in the One God in Three Persons. And the word "Trinity" was coined at year 200 AD by a catholic named Tertullian. The word "Bible" can also never be found in the Scriptures. because the Catholic Church decided which scriptures are "God-breathed" and compiled the final 73 books and calle it "Biblia: which means "The Books." Scripture also says that "all Scriptures are inspired by the Holy Spirit" yet the bible itself never told us which writings and letters are inspired out of the thousands produced out there.

I grew up in the Baptist Church, and I converted this past Easter vigil. It honestly is so annoying and heartbreaking the amount of hate Protestants, especially evangelicals, give to Catholicism. I grew up hearing misconceptions of the Catholic Church but didn’t always pay much attention to them, and it’s only now that I’m Catholic do I see that absolute vitriol that many Protestants have. I will always love and respect my Baptist roots, but I will also defend the ancient Church. I’m so glad this woman found discernment, praise the Mighty Living God.
What misconceptions are they.?? Take a read of the Gutenberg Martyrs. They are not fairy stories. That is what this so-called pagan church is about. you are OK if you agree with them if not woe betide anyone who disagrees.
I’m studying but I still don’t find anything supporting the intercession of the saints or praying to saints. Or that the saints or the dead is aware of our daily life. Any support for these would be helpful
Perhaps these might help understanding physically dead, but truly alive in Christ: Matthew 12:26-27 Luke 9:30 Luke 23:43 John 11: 23-26 Hebrews 12:1 Revelation 5:8; 8:3-4
Whathappened: what about the Protestants murdering Protestants ever since the dawn of the Reformation. They not only burned each other's Bibles and works, but they burned each other as well. People doing bad things doesn't disprove the church itself. Otherwise Judas would have disproven the church.
Eugene, thank you for the comment. All prohibitions against talking to the dead were in the Old Testament because Jesus had not died or risen yet. Therefore, people died and were rotting in the grave. They couldn't hear you. They were not conscious. There was no way to talk to them unless you practiced some black magic or something, or you conjured up their spirit like Saul did. However, Jesus is alive. He conquered sin, shattered death, and is alive forever, more in glory. In Mt. 27:52, It says that the graves of those who had died broke open and they were walking around. So these people are not dead any more, thanks to Christ, but are alive and not in the grave. Everyone who follows him are alive forever in heaven (Rev. 6:9) and perfected in his life and righteousness. Therefore, they are not dead in the grave but are alive in heaven, which is a big difference. Even the bible shows people in heaven taking our prayers before God. (Rev. 5:8; 8:3-4)
I became Catholic in 2020 and have never looked back. I’m a former non denominational Protestant who used to be saying that Catholics pray to dead saints. I know better now. Since being Catholic, I have gotten a deeper understanding of God and Christ. I’m not ever going to apologize for being Catholic.

@@DadoMac Yes, you are so right, common sense is all you really need to dismiss sola scriptura! Plus, where is it written than it must be written at all? Where did Christ say, be sure to write all this down? Where did Christ write anything except in drifting sand? Is the Great Mandate to go out to the entire world handing out bibles? It's so comical to see earnest protestant movies always trying to get in frame some Apostle busily writing everything down even though there's no warrant for scene in the bible, lol. Kind of reminds me of how everybody's ignoring the real people in front of them while attending to a secondary or removed reality through their phone. Who would split his attention off of Jesus Himself to take notes? Do we think the Apostles didn't know about "being in the moment" unlike us moderns? Blessings!
Exactly. One person said that most people interpret the Bible from an American point of view, in English, 2000 years removed when, in fact, the Bible was written by Jews, for Jews, in a Jewish worldview, and we need to enter into that to understand it.
I know that feeling of being torn up as I read the Church Fathers. I came from a devout Protestant background, and the cognitive dissonance was off the map. The Lord helped me through it, and my wife and some of my family were able to join the Church last year. Glory be to God!
In a protestantan church they base their worshiping in touching people's emotions, they make sure they have good music an a good inspirational speech, so you feel comfortable, the center is you.. In the Catholic church, we worship God, he is the center. During mass there is time to ask for forgiveness, time to pray for one another, time to listen to God, time to confess our faith in him, time to remember his sacrifice, his death, time to celebrate his resureccion. I am so thankful to be part of Jesus's church.
@@CatholicTruthOfficialYes, I appreciate some of the worship songs that evangelicalism has created… the older stuff but most of the songs now are not anointed. I sometimes miss the hour long Bible study and singing sessions that constituted the worship at the baptist church I grew up in. I would just say, "I'm Catholic." And I doubt there are official Church documents from the Vatican that say "Roman Catholic."
When I became Catholic I realized this is the real deal. Saints are real. The power of God is with this church. Knowing Jesus is with you at confession and adoration you can feel it. So glad I'm not non denominational Christian anymore.
@@Shskfjekdnf38587 yeah, I like how the Catholic church does exorcisms because spiritual warfare with the demonic is also real. Born and raised Catholic, my faith solidified during college years, an atheist doctor converted to Catholicism after researching the beating heart muscle in the Eucharist, gave a talk in our school. It confirmed and solidified my faith, no matter how much my Protestant side family warns me and tells me to convert, I would respond “Jesus is alive in the Eucharist, how can I ever leave him”

A few months ago I started getting into it with Roman Catholics (which was not the norm for me). I kept getting accused of misrepresenting their beliefs. True, I didn't know much about the RCC, but I didnt have to because they were so OBVIOUSLY statue-worshiping, polytheistic heretics. So, in fairness, I decided I'd learn more about their damn religion then they know, that way they couldn't accuse me of misrepresenting them! So I ordered Crossing the Tiber, and Rome Sweet Home. Yes, I heard a story about my aunt. Her daughter (my cousin) came out as lesbian in her teen years, then all of a sudden my aunt became not only anti Catholic, but agnostic bordering atheist. She's really into the occult, and it saddens me so much, because apparently she used to be a "super catholic" and really involved in the church. It would seem she left for the reasons you state, that she wanted the freedom to live in her sin and accept the sin of her daughter's lifestyle. I was very happy as a Mormon.. but when the Holy Spirit called me home, I knew I needed to act and I did. About a year after leaving the LDS church, the scales came off of my eyes about the LDS church and then I was angry. The whole foundation of the LDS church is based on lies that changed periodically over time. I was angry that I lost 19 years based on lies. I do know the LDS church has a way of making everything about US instead of about Christ. There is a lot of Christ intertwined but overall, everything is to please humans, not God.

My first night of RCIA, I commented on how exhausting it is to find the most biblical, most accurate pastor to follow, only to find another one who is even more biblical and better at preaching, only to find another one, etc. etc. I was so tired of trying to define every doctrine according to what *I* determined was right. Thanks be to God for giving us an authoritative Church! Pray for our shepherds!
You describe the Evangelical church perfectly! I never thought I was good enough. If I wasn’t involved in everything, I was made to feel I wasn’t doing enough. @@bluecomb5376 with much fear and trembling, I assure you. It felt like I was entering a dragons den, even though I had intellectually accepted Catholicism on many points. But to back up, I had spent about a decade having God move me from one Protestant denomination to another. 10 years of listening to about 40-60 hours of Protestant podcasts a week, while studying scripture, KJV Bible lol, prayer and regular fasting. I would go to up 6 different churches a week. A short stint going to an Orthodox Church helped as well. I worked on a college campus, so I could take world religions classes, Biblical Hebrew, Old Testament era comparative religion studies, etc. I was a grounds keeper, so I basically worked the entire time alone while listening to my mp3 player. God had taken me through Protestantism and showed me the errors, I couldn’t remain in a denomination if I found an error in their theology. In the end, Catholicism was all I had left or start a new denomination, which I couldn’t bring myself to even try to do. I needed to find the Church that matched the theology I had been taught by the Holy Spirt, which happened to be the last place I would have even dared to look. I had a broken windshield wiper on my vehicle at work. So, I got a different vehicle that day. It was a new truck and came with a free year of satellite radio. So, I decided that was the day I would start listening to catholic teaching. It was the feast of the conversion of Saint Paul which peaked my attention, as I had been pulled out of atheism by an act of God very similar to Paul’s experience. I was effectively an atheist by high school and spent a long time as such. So, feast of the conversion of Saint Paul, ewtn, the whole day is conversion stories and then came on, John Martignoni, Catholic apologist, I ended up going home and downloading all his stuff at the time and jamming it on my mo3 player. I hit play the next morning and didn’t stop till I had run through everything. Everything I had accepted to be true without a doubt over the last decade, was already Catholic and everything I had learned about Catholicism as a kid, was a lie. I had been absolutely betrayed by everyone that had ever told me anything about what Catholicism taught. They brainwashed me while claiming Catholics were all brainwashed. They had served me strawman arguments and hadn’t even attempted to debunk actual Catholic arguments. My conversion has ultimately cost me everything, family, friends, my wife, my children, all gone, no contact whatsoever. I forgave my parents and they disowned me. My wife cheated and left me, turned my kids against me, etc. I wouldn’t change anything though, I’m free of a living hell on earth the likes of which I wouldn’t wish on my worst of enemies. Living without love is a hunger and thirst that is just pain, unrelenting pain. People with reactive attachment disorder, typically commit suicide if they haven’t accidentally overdosed. It’s horrible.
WOW!!! Praise the good Lord!! May God continue to continue blessing you. Sadly, I see a lot of mental illness associated with anti-Catholicism, and just extremism in general. SO glad God healed you! Thank you Jesus.
@@CatholicTruthOfficialmy illness wasn’t from antiCatholicism, it is attributed to neglect as an infant, typically found in infants warehoused in orphanages. It stems from a lack of proper emotional attachment to a parent or caregiver. But thank you for your kind words.
Thank you for this podcast. I am currently in the process of converting from Protestantism. The further I dive into being Catholic, the further I am falling in love with the faith.

I was a non practicing Protestant who heard from one Protestant pastor that Catholics worshipped Mary and I believed him. And it never once even crossed my mind to look at what the early church fathers did and what their worship looked like. They were the ones who were nearest to Jesus. I didn’t even know that I was a Protestant. I had to google that term when I was in the beginning stages of my conversion I kept seeing the term. I just thought I was a Christian. It’s funny because deep inside I already knew Catholicism was the oldest faith. You can tell by the architecture and beauty and age of their churches and the fact that all old movies they are Catholic. That’s because all Christians before 1500 were Catholic. Even the orthodox were united as one Catholic universal Church. It’s funny how dumb I was. I was just a lost sheep. Thank the Lord, He came back for me.
Amen amen! Beautiful story, thank you for sharing. I'm so glad you found your way home. We are all so glad that you found your way to our Channel as well. I hope you enjoy it and that it inspires you.
This was utterly fascinating. Conversion stories just blow my mind. I always see Mary's hand involved. She touches so many hearts. She is irresistible!
I used to think why do Protestants hate us so much I used to be so upset and hurt because I was always taught by my Catholic Church that they are Christian too and we are similar in our love for God but all I received was pure unfiltered hatred from them (not all but a lot) and I struggle for a while to understand them and She confirmed everything I kind of learned from them it just steams from fear that the Catholic Church is right and they fear turns to hate too. I’m at peace that a lot more Protestants are coming around and seeing what we see in our faith and church. You can also see that heavenly glow about them when they convert too. Praise be to God! 💕💕🕊️✝️🙏🏼
They are judged by their fruits - anger is a fruit of the evil one - 🙏🏼 those who hold anger will find the truth and have a true conversion - blessings
What she is saying about worship leaders is so true. I played in the worship band at my church, but what I realized much later after being Catholic was that worship leaders use the same formula as Led Zeppelin to “worship.” Then there is the whole Bible alone, but then not believing everything in the Bible, but that is a different story. I’m glad you found the Catholic Church!
Led Zeppelin IV starts off fast and hard, then it gets slow and softer, then it ends with a slightly harder song. Led Zeppelin III starts off fast with the immigrant song, then slows down. Both of these albums are exactly what goes on in a “worship” (I used quotes is because the Mass is what is worship) service. It uses one’s emotions to make you feel like you’re worshipping. The worship team is a part of what actually brought me into the Church. I ended up realizing worship is sacrifice, and when I went to my first traditional service (the Anglicans) I realized that I didn’t have to feel any certain way to worship God. This is something that I would love to explain more, but it’s too long for a yt comment. I did go over it a little on the miss happy Catholic channel on the protestant trad video.
I am a former Southern Baptist convert to the Catholic Church. My position on cognitive dissonance goes back to the old time concept of an angel sitting on our right shoulder, and a devil sitting on our left shoulder...whispering all the time to try to sway us to their sides. We have to have the courage to embrace the Truth, no matter how frightening, no matter how it will pull the rug out from under us. I pray daily for God to give me a new thought, a new understanding, even if it hurts. You are a testament to that principle. On a side note, from my growing up Baptist, I believe they are practicing John The Baptist's faith, preaching and baptizing with water. They are stuck there.
Some Catholic Writings are anti-Bible. For example Decretals, epistolae decretales, are papal letters that have a claim to universal validity and clarify questions of Church law. The Roman Decretalia states the Pope can pronounce sentences and judgments in contradiction to the right of nations, and to the law of God and man .... He can free himself from the commands of the apostles, he being their superior, and from the rules of the Old Testament,” “The pope has power to change times, to abrogate laws, and to dispense with all things, even the precepts of Christ.”-Decretal de Translat. Episcop. Cap. The Catholic 10 Commandments found in Catechisms Sections 2052 -2557 are DIFFERENT to God's 10 Commandments found in Exodus 20.
As an Evangelical myself before I became Catholic, I did not experience that type of vitriol. In fact, as a Protestant Evangelical, I would argue with some Protestants and defend the Catholic Church. My attitude toward the Catholic Church when I was Protestant was that the Catholic Church is a Christian Church that contained error, but I believed that about all denominations. I am not a lukewarm Catholic or a modernist as I attend the Latin Mass. I still have Protestant friends who appreciate some Catholic spirituality and will even attend Catholic events with me. It is sad that there are people like James White, Dave Hunt and Mike Gendron who cause anger and vitriol based on nonsense.
That word nonsense seems unjustified how about laying some of that nonsense out. I have found there is a mixture of truth and error. Pointing out errors is not nonsense. it then opens for debate. Catholic Truth i.e Byron Mercer to him his Truth is Truth. if his Truth is not Truth. can we dispute it? Now catholic truth has control of this site. if he controls the comment through manipulation for those with alternative views and indisputable facts to support why they disagree with his Truth. Would you say that was dishonest? Most of those who put up the CC as the only way, use this buffer to prevent comments that would otherwise contradict that position.
@@DonDraperism dear brother in Christ, I am a mother and cradle Catholic from Africa. I urge you please do not be tempted to create ‘groups’ of Catholics like ‘modernists’ who are ‘lukewarm’ and those who attend the ‘Latin Mass’ by implication are perhaps better. @@DonDraperism I was hoping thou would not be defensive. However, I urge you do not add to or promote division. We do not have the Latin Mass in my part of the world, but I have attended beautiful Latin Masses on my travels. However, Jesus is present in every single Mass. I have attended Holy Mass in some of the poorest parts of our country, where the churches are simple and so humble, but the people are on fire for Christ’s. Church. People in those areas walk many kilometres to attend Holy Mass. Their reverence and dedication is something to behold. You and I can’t decide who is wishy washy in their faith or not. What a beautiful testimony. Mike and other anti-catholics inspired me to look into what Catholicism teaches because it didn't sound right. It seemed more reasonable to learn from the source. St. Irenaeus of Lyons was a big influence on me. On a different note please pray for my sister. She's dealing with OCD and anorexia. She's seeking help from a Protestant pastor who believes that mental health doesn't exist (very John MacArthur influence) and tells her that she's in sin because she has OCD and anorexia. This is significantly impacting her mental health and our family. All my family members are anti-Catholic, and my sister thinks Catholics aren't saved."
Praying for the healing of all those who are suffering from mental illness. In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. If you can take her to the Anointing of the Sick. I was healed through the Anointing of the Sick in a Mass. "Reach out to Jesus with Faith". Remember the woman who suffered hemmorhage for 12 years. Bishop Baron has a brilliant sermon about this including the rasing of the dead of Jairus' daughter because of Jarius' faith. Have faith..❤
Didn't you notice? You just have to open your mind, think outside the box and use your common sense to know that protestantism defies simple logic.Bible was not available until one thousand and five hundred years later(no such thing as sola scriptura because no bible to read!), protestantism came up the same date, and before all that, Catholic church existed, where literate or non-literate Christians learned of the gospel. Keep praying, say the rosary if you can, it works for me, I'm sure it will for your family..

Are you in unity with the Pope and are you subject to him and all the dogmas of the Catholic church. The Catholic church demands that you know. It has some difficult to nail down means by which a non-Catholic may be saved, but it's for a very few who they consider redeemable.
@@ralf547incorrect. In Lumen Gentium, the Catholic Church teaches that non-Catholics may be saved if through no fault of their own, they didn’t know of Jesus, the gospel or his Church but they lived their lives sincerely following the dictates of their conscience as best they could doing God’s will. Those who know the truth of the Catholic Church and how essential it is to our salvation but refuses to enter it will not be saved.
@@mayannsteinbeisser5228 First of all, in Hebrews 11 God's Word says we must first have faith before we can please God. So Catholicism is wrong in saying anyone can do anything that pleases God and would enter the Kingdom without knowing the Gospel. I left Catholicism but place all my trust/faith in Jesus as my savior. I know the "truth" of Catholicism but reject some of that "truth" that isn't truth at all and has no impact on my salvation. I'm not invincibly ignorant. But I am saved. If you think it's necessary to be united to the Catholic church and subject to the Pope, then you have an additional savior and Jesus isn't sufficient. That's saying Jesus isn't the only way to the Father.
@@ralf547 from what you just said, I’m convinced you were either poorly catechized as a Catholic and/or you bought into anti-Catholic propaganda by some Protestants. You have committed the grave sin of apostasy by turning your back on the Church that you were baptized into, the one Jesus’ founded. I urge you to repent and come back home for your eternal salvation. I believe Jesus is Son of God, our Savior. It is from this faith in Jesus that I believe he founded the Catholic Church as the means by which he saves us through the supernatural grace contained in the 7 sacraments and also through her doctrines and dogmas that form and guide us in our mortal and spiritual life. Just to give a short explanation why I said that, I’ll talk about one of the sacraments, baptism and how it saves. This stems from what Jesus said to Nicodemus in John 3:5, “Amen, Amen, I say to you, no one can enter the kingdom of God without being born of water and Spirit”. and 1 Peter 3:21 says, Baptism, which corresponds to this, now saves you, not as a removal of dirt from the body but as an appeal to God for a good conscience.” Also, in Acts 2:38-41, “Peter said to them, “Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” This is why we believe baptism is more than just a symbol. It actually saves a person because the water washes away his sin and the Holy Spirit enters into him which then enables him to enter God’s kingdom. As for doctrine and dogma, you made it sound like they’re really awful and burdensome and so we should eschew them. I happen to think differently. I love the teachings and dogmas of the Church. They’re profoundly beautiful and speaks of the depth of God’s love for us. Take the dogma of Communion of Saints for example. Members of the Church form the Mystical Body of Christ and so we are deeply connected to each other. Not even death can separate us. Saints, therefore are empowered by God to hear our prayers and intercede for us in heaven. No different than when we ask a friend or a pastor to pray for us.
Please pray for Miriam Delgado in Cutler Bay, Florida. We were all born Catholic. My son and I and her she's changed to a drive-by religion which I call. We pray that she comes back through the true Catholic faith. May God Jesus and Mary the Holy Spirit bless ALL 🙏✝️📿

Thank you for such inspiring interview. I was born Catholic, practice after my marriage felt appart, divorced and angry at the bad media coverage about pedophilia. Left the Church and joined my fellow protestants. Now thinking about it i love the bible drilling, but i missed the eternal sacrifice of the living host. I used to be very intimidated by the accusations that were made by pritestants until one day I started to look up the scriptures that they threw at me for myself and discovered with awe, that they were actually misrepresenting what the scriptures actually said. Then it dawned on me that the things they were attacking as "evil" or "unbiblica" were right there in the bible....yep and although many of them did not realize these things were in the bible, it was also the case thay many of them knew these things were in the bible and were deliberately ignoring them and being dishonest
@@atrifle8364 we catholics do just that, and unlike protestants, we have a complete and correct bible because the bible was produced by the catholic church, not the protestant church and our version was mpt altered by Luther. Never assume that someone else knows less than you do, b cuz you might be wrong
Do you know why they, protestant pastors, do that? Because they are instruments of Satan used to attack the One, Holy, Catholic, Apostolic Church and to lead unsuspecting souls to his Hell. They may not realize that they are working for Satan, deceived and blinded by Satan's lies. May God have mercy, open their eyes, and grant them understanding so that they may repent, convert, and come to the Only Fold (John 10:16) instituted by Our Lord for their salvation. Amen!

Great interview. I actually bought my wife Scott Hahn’s book 3 years ago in hopes she would read it. She still hasn’t and I’m not the type to pressure someone to read a book against their will or force anything, but I have a strong feeling she’s purposely avoiding it because she doesn’t want to be convinced. So pray for her.
Keep praying for her brother! And have monastic people (nuns, priests) pray for her too! My mom did that to me with her nun friends back home and I came back home to the Catholic Church.
Forcing her is one thing, but a friendly reminder or encouragement wouldn't hurt. ;-) Scott Hahn hated the fact that he was trying to force faith on his father, who was on his deathbed, but it paid off because he ended up accepting Jesus on his deathbed. Just a thought.

Would she be open to watching any of our videos? We will pray for her.
Pray and show her a good, loving heart.
The Catholics are right!"
You see, everything started in the Catholic church. But if you go straight to the origin, many Protestants are prejudiced and don't want to look at it. Just keep praying for your wife.
Same with my husband, and he will not wavier because his entire family would disown him. He really does not have the strength to go against his mother.
Keeping your intentions. God has his own timing
As mother Angelica said. Catholic gets the best protestants whilst protestant gets the worst catholic 😂

@@stassdanielsons4850Can you explain what you mean?
1 Timothy 2:1-6
"First of all, then, I ask that supplications, prayers, petitions, and thanksgivings be offered for everyone, for kings and all in authority, that we may lead a quiet and tranquil life in all devotion and dignity. This is good and pleasing to God our savior, who wills everyone to be saved and to come to knowledge of the truth. For there is one God. There is also one mediator between God and the human race, Christ Jesus, himself human, who gave himself as a ransom for all."
So St.
"For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus"
Where do you see Mary in that line?

This is as complicated as the word "Trinity" can never be found in the bible; yet you are NOT considered a christian if you dont believe in the One God in Three Persons.
And the word "Trinity" was coined at year 200 AD by a catholic named Tertullian.
The word "Bible" can also never be found in the Scriptures. because the Catholic Church decided which scriptures are "God-breathed" and compiled the final 73 books and calle it "Biblia:

Scripture also says that "all Scriptures are inspired by the Holy Spirit" yet the bible itself never told us which writings and letters are inspired out of the thousands produced out there.

Perhaps these might help understanding physically dead, but truly alive in Christ:
Matthew 12:26-27
Luke 9:30
Luke 23:43
John 11: 23-26
Hebrews 12:1
Revelation 5:8; 8:3-4

In a protestantan church they base their worshiping in touching people's emotions, they make sure they have good music an a good inspirational speech, so you feel comfortable, the center is you.. In the Catholic church, we worship God, he is the center. During mass there is time to ask for forgiveness, time to pray for one another, time to listen to God, time to confess our faith in him, time to remember his sacrifice, his death, time to celebrate his resureccion. Imagine if you will, living 40 years since birth, being raised antiCatholic and never felling love for that 40 years and I don’t mean in a figurative way, I mean in a very serious, diagnosable, mentally ill kind of way, which is incurable and a living hell on earth.
Now imagine being completely healed of that condition at your first Catholic mass, at the consecration and feeling love for the first time in your life at 40 years old.
It’s earth shattering, it’s I’m on a new planet I didn’t know existed.
@@frekigeri4317 Wow. That is INCREDIBLE! What a story to tell. How did you even make it through the doors of a Catholic church having been raised so anti-catholic?
But thank you for your kind words.

yes... the experience of vomiting, anger was the demons being ousted by the keys of the Church and Peter's chair...The truth set you free, you are liberated. Praise God!

Amen! We are so glad too! What do you mean by Led Zeppelin
I did go over it a little on the miss happy Catholic channel on the protestant trad video.
eyes wide open, bruh!
For example
Decretals, epistolae decretales, are papal letters that have a claim to universal validity and clarify questions of Church law.
The Roman Decretalia states the Pope can pronounce sentences and judgments in contradiction to the right of nations, and to the law of God and man .... He can free himself from the commands of the apostles, he being their superior, and from the rules of the Old Testament,”
“The pope has power to change times, to abrogate laws, and to dispense with all things, even the precepts of Christ.”-Decretal de Translat. Episcop. Cap.

I have observed how damaging these distinctions have been and are I the west. That is not of God or what He wants for his Church. He sees the heart. Let’s fervently pray always for the grace to be walk faithfully and humbly with God in His Church - no divisions, no judgements.
@@marydantu1102 I have not "created" groups such as modernists. They created themselves by denying tenets of the faith. I don't want to be wishy washy about the Catholic faith and turn a blind eye to false doctrine and sin. And neither should you or any believing Catholic
When we do this we are falling into the greatest sin, pridefulness. God knows the essence of our being and our thoughts. Guard against the pharisiacalism which was was the message of last Sunday’s gospel in Mark.

You have the holy Catholic Church. You have 48,000 protestant CULTS. You have the Anglican CULT. You have the Cult of England NOT church

I used to be very intimidated by the accusations that were made by pritestants until one day
I started to look up the scriptures that they threw at me for myself and discovered with awe, that they were actually misrepresenting what the scriptures actually said. Then it dawned on me that the things they were attacking as "evil" or "unbiblica" were right there in the bible....yep and although many of them did not realize these things were in the bible, it was also the case thay many of them knew these things were in the bible and were deliberately ignoring them and being dishonest
Naw you finally bought into.their lies.. Nobody hate the Catholic Church. We hate their lies and ACCURSED DOCTRINE.

***THANK GOD FOR what an Inspired conversion Story really! Thank U Sophia for your body language which speaks like music undoubtedly. You sounds deeply blessed. Also I was unbeliever then I converted for two years to Evangelical churches who opened my eyes to the "Gospel of life". I remember I tried many times to quit cigarettes and fail. One evening I went for walk and tried to say few Hail Mary and I quit at once. Now I am Canadian. THANK GOD OF HEAVEN HIS LOVE IS ETERNAL! ❤
Amen amen amen!!
I went to my first Mass today. It was a traditional Latin Mass. I had didn't have any idea about the rituals, when to kneel or stand. However, it was beautiful and I was in awe with the reverence.
Can't imagine going to one without having any clue what to expect or what is happening. I commend your courage.
I love this testimony. Thank so so much for this.
❤️👍
Keep up the great work!!
Beautiful conversion story!!
Sophia welcome home!! Thank you for sharing your journey and conversion!!!
It truly is by the Grace of God!
Your smile tells it all, you've really found The Truth, welcome to the Catholic Church, welcome Home ❤
What a wonderful video! Welcome home sister!🥰
Thank you so much for this! I had been raised without Christianity, but through a strange internal message, was told to make rosaries. So I looked it up and became a rosary maker, although non-catholic. I went on to become a Protestant and married one who forbid me to make rosaries. Divorced in 2020 and discovered Catholic priests speaking on you tube, returned to making rosaries, and Easter Vigil of 2024 I was confirmed and I can now joyfully say, I’m home as a Catholic. I continue to make and donate rosaries. It was a 4 year journey to become Catholic for me, but it’s the best decision of my life. 😊
Wonderful! Do so glad to hear it. Thanks so much for sharing.
Great conversion story. Indeed many people who leave the church are truly hateful. We can only have one truth and not many. Christ left only one church and its the catholic church. Welcome home Sophia and continue being passionate with the Lord and his church.
Amen! In Africa? The most alive, fervent Catholics are in Africa - the future of the faith.
