Your top FN FAL Type A actually sits inside a L1A2 (I assume since you are from Australia?) scabbard. It would have had one similair to the bottom one if it's South African. Nice Collection!
Sweet collection, Pointy! What happened to your M9? A suggestion for you since you're basically the bayonet guy, is to buy some of the repro bayonets, and sell them at a small markup and use those funds to buy your pricy collection pieces. As an example, I have a knock-off M7 in an M8A1 scabbard that cost me €37 on Amazon (I am from Sydney, but I like in Germany now). It's sharp AF and looks and feels as good as the original M7S that I had.
Excellent collection of blades I must say. Thanks to you my own collection now spans over 13 different bayonets. I trust your surgeries are not serious…?! Pls accept my best wishes for your health. A thankful old disabled veteran from 🇩🇰. 🇩🇰🎗🇦🇺
Thanks, just routine surgeries. I had my gallbladder out just recently so my health is improving. I'm curious, is it easy to find bayonets in Denmark? I've had some luck buying from Sweden and Finland in the past. Funny how they seem to multiply 🤣
I have an ozzy issued m7 with complete with scabbed in pristine condition my mate gifted to me will never sell it was never used to cut a anything,. As I research more I'm seeing that they are quiet prized so stoked I have one it would b one of the best bayo I own.i collecting knife bayonets that is bayonets that double as fighting or field knives. Started with the m9 and have been working my way backwards through history . Have m4 and m7s and m9s will get the m5, m5a1 and m6. All in very good condition have decided to only buy bayos in good to very good condition not paying top dollar for beat to hell examples particularly when no documention of items history is given with people just abusing them anywhere post war. Would rather have a pristine piece. Regards damo

a while back I got a "butchers blade" German bayonet from ww1 but it doesn't have any handle scales does anyone know if there are repro makers of them?
I. Love. Bayonets.
Thanks for showing us what you have 🙏🏻
Love the Finnish m1938, just got one recently!
Man, that Aussie M10 scabbard has me jealous every time I see it. Like you said, hard to locate and unrealistically expensive. Very cool collection!
Never sell, only buy! Awesome pointy things!
Awesome Brother 👍🏻🇦🇺

The M9 belongs to a friend, but his collection lives with me. I'm looking at buying some cheap from the states to sell

Now you're just showing off....LOL VERY NICE collection !
I kinda want one. Any recommendations under 100 dollars? I'm American with Czech and German ancestry.
You have plenty of good options in the US. A Czech VZ58 can be had really cheap, probably a VZ24 too. German bayonets sell for a lot more though
Nice collection of bayonets! Like you said i don’t like to buy bayonets without the scabbards also😂 we think the same about these things i feel ❤

@militariacollectablesbelgium definitely make more videos 👍 we need as much bayonet content as we can get. Sadly it's not covered nearly enough
Lovely Sir, you need to sell me that Aussie M7 Scabbard 😂
Never!

There are plenty of reproduction 98/05 bayonets but I haven't seen the grips sold separately. Surely someone would sell them
So you don’t have the British sa80. Bayonet anymore??
No, I got an offer I couldn't refuse 😂
