Hello, nice video. I agree with you that some prices on today's collectibles market are just not where they should be. Here in Czech Republic we have for example similar problem with Mannlicher M95 bayonets. Average price for a good one with scabbard is around 100 to 150 AUD which is totally fine, but if you have an example that was made in company which is based in Czech Republic or it has Czechoslovakian army acceptance stamp it can do double or even triple that and that's kind of stupid, yes they are a little bit rarer, but not so much to be worth it.

In 1979 long Lee Enfield bayonets were 10 dollars each at army surplus shop in NSW

That's awesome! I got curious and checked an inflation calculator, that's only $57AUD in modern dollars!

Good vid man, I don’t even know what a 1907 hooked quilon would go for here in the USA, they don’t seem to exist here. And I have looked far and wide…

I was wondering last night if there is much of a market for them in the US. I was looking at M1905s and the crazy prices you guys have for the WT marked ones. No market for that down here

@@pointynotsharp I do think there is a wide difference in what people are looking for here as opposed to your part of the world, I may actually do a video like this one (ish, my own style of course) pertaining to US prices somewhere down the road

@@GreatNorthwestWeaponry if you would settle for a repro, Atlanta cutlery has long P1907s with quillions (from I believe windlass in india) for around $100 USD, sometimes less if there is a sale.
