Dear Sir. Thank you for an excellent review. I own a model 28/30 from the Civil Guard with its original frog, all in really good condition. Love the smell of the Old leather and the blade…?! I Got it from an elderly lady who told me that her grandfather used it in the Winter- and continuation war respectively. I was actually contemplating sending it to you for review, but I could not see any address or anything to send it to. Please keep up the good work, take care of your loved ones and stay safe. Best regards from 🇩🇰 🎗 🇦🇺
Good info. I always wondered about the differences since the models are so similar. I have an M28 made by Hackman, with the large rivets, blued catch but no welds on the cross guard.
X-ray! I had one of my older German kitchen knives (J.A.Henckels) x-rayed. It revealed a rat-tailed tang and molten lead that was poured into the drilled-out handle to secure the tang (and ferrule) to the handle.
I have both one like this, and the version with curly birch grips.

They certainly had me stumped for a long time, the M28s are gorgeous. Next on my need list I think
Good video. Wish I’d never sold mine😢

Wow, that's quite an interesting construction!
I've noticed a lot of swedish mauser bayonets on the market, yet these are oddly far more scarce and a lot more expensive
8:57 he is not Simo Häyhä. he is some swedish guy with swedish mauser with m1896 bayonet
I wish I had the M39 bayonet, but even the reoros are too expensive for me.
