The color grading was already good in the original. It's understandable that upscaling could necessitate some changes but the colors are too much. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." Overall, these videos are really amazing.
I do not understand those who complain about the change of colors. I think that having a little more color, highlights the fantasy of the saga. I liked how the final result was. I kept working like this! As other people pointed out, the upscale is really nice, but the colour corrections, not so much. The contrasts of the original version are way better.
The upscale looks fantastic and the colors look great too. But I would suggest moving the patreon button to the intro, instead of overlaying it on the actual video...
