Thank you so much for this video. I paid $144.00 today at Walmart for mine. I couldn’t get how to slide the side things on each side of the a/c. After watching your video I was able to.
    Thank you so much.🙂🙏

My hvac needs freon and is basically useless except around 12 a.m when the temp outside is in the 70s. Got home this afternoon, and it was 88 in the house 😂 won't be able to get a guy out till next week, so I ran out to get this bad boy. It was the only option on the shelf. I watched this because I have metal framed windows, and there's no real way to screw it down without drilling into the metal, which I don't want to do. Was hoping to find someone with the same problem. Your video wasn't what I needed, but your personality and funny pwrsona were what I needed. Thanks man

Just got this baby right before my Walmart closed tonight! Our A/C went out a few hours ago. Repairman cannot get us in until next week! Hoping this makes it somewhat bearable! I could not justify shelling out $400-$500 for a 12,000-14,000 BTU! Hoping this does the job as a temporary fix. Your review definitely helped me decide! Sending you much appreciation from southern Virginia! Keep it up brother!

If you want it to last long and if have odors you will need to take it apart to clean the cooling coil . They sell cleaners to remove smells and mold from the coils

These air conditioners are usually very affordable so when it comes down to cleaning or servicing them, people would rather just buy another one then spend the money on a technician to come and clean it for them, but if you can do it on your own, you will save more money

The cord isn’t extremely long. However, if you find a window closest to an electrical plug before you install the a/c, measure that the cord can be plugged in.
I found a window nearest to an electrical outlet than installed the a/c. Good luck.🙂

This unit appears to feature a water catch trough where the outside fan blows room condensate out of the pan onto the outside finstack to use the evaporation cooling effect to boost cooling capabilities. Seems to work quite well considering just how much colder the inside air gets over time when it collects enough runoff.

    • @EatingGoodWithRickandJerre
