I've always felt my baby's latch isn't right, but because hes been gaining weight well and transferring a decent amount of milk per weighed feeding my concerns have been dismissed by 2 LCS's. At 13 weeks old now I was told there isn't anything he can be taught now.
@@MsLessette this is such a common issues that feeding concerns are dismissed because baby is gaining weight. I’m really sorry that your concerns have been dismissed by LCs - that’s infuriating. Babies can have terrible tongue function but if mum has a super good supply and a fast letdown baby isn’t needing to work for it. Sometimes in these babies we see weight slow down or drop around 4-5 months when supply has decreased and baby is suddenly having to work harder for it and can’t. @alissabrownibclc i don't have any pain while nursing, but I'm this is also my 4th baby I've breastfed them all.
