Heck yea! I like how simple the intercooler plumbing ended up being. When I was building my truck I ended up welding 90s onto the intercooler to get the connection points back into the bay. I know sometimes those silicone 90s have a tendency to blow off and I didn't like the idea of pulling my grille off to fix it. Keep up the good work!
I really like that intercooler setup! Do you think the IACV is needed? Different engine but years ago i had a 1UZ in a corolla and I did away with the IACV and just adjusted idle using the ignition map (MS2) and adjustment screw on the throttle body and it was dead reliable in all conditions.
Idle can be handled with timing and that is what I do once its running for the most part. IACV really helps with startup / high cold idle as well. But far from a need
Can you please help me I wanna turbo my bmw e30 so bad but I really don’t know what parts to get and what I need I’m new to all of this and I wanted to know if you could please help me out
@jakemodscars I feel it may end up another failure point. I understand keeping the turbo cool is important. But sometimes over complicating things just cause more failure points. Maybe I'm wrong though.

Could you just run oil cooling without the coolant lines on the turbo? I would rather not have all that plumbing.
yes...but why? water cooling a ball bearing turbo is much better

@@Tierod86 It's using the throttle body heater hoses so they are parts already in use normally. I have 6k miles on the setup...
