I was planning to do but the go pro files failed sorry. Its not that hard actually just bond them together using MMA glue while placing both parts in the mould halfs to keep the correct dimensions. I'm making 2 more soon and I'll film it again hoping this time they work.
That finish is amazing! The join lines of the cloth are so neat too. It must have been so exciting and a huge relief to de-mould and see it was perfect. So much planning and preparation and I paied off. What finish to you use inside to protect the resin from the fuel?
Hi great video. Can I ask about the fuel. Are you planning on putting a barrier on the inside, I would have thought the petrol would eat/dissolve the resin
Thnx! Its on the bike, the tank sealer had to sit atleast 7 days before using it. we tested wate, no leaks now when the coating is sealed the fuel can go in. I'll post a foto from the tank on the bike.

Thnx! When you look at the technical data of your prepreg you can see hwhat thickness it wil get after curing and that way I get the thickness I want .
Hi, well for that Monkey R it isnt that big a problem, it drives only for shows and more sight seeing. For racing I would prefer tu ad some layers of Kevlar for safety.
Why do you have a autoclave but use easy composites "out of autoclave" prepregs when its intended application is just under pressure prom the vacuum pump and oven cured? Nice work tho😊
Thnx, well these were the first runs of my autoclave. I never had worked with an autoclave so it was all learning at firs, and I stil had this prepreg laying here so a bit of a waste not using them.
