The 7Artisans 35mm T1.05 is a pleasure to shoot with. It's a perfect match for the S5 and the results speak for themselves. I have the full set including the 12mm T2.9. I bought that one first and was so impressed with the 100 degree AoV and ease of focus, I bought the rest in T1.05. I use them professionally on my FS5 and FS7 when I'm not operating the 18-110mm servo zooms.
I don't think they make one natively for MFT in this range, but they have a lot of lenses for MFT on their site. I just pinned a link in the comments so you can check it out.
oh, I thought specs on this lens are already given in their 35mm equivalent as these lenses made for APS-C sensor. Have to rethink my purchasing plans and target 25mm 1.05 instead 0f 35mm as I prefer wider angles of view... good review anyways, thank you!!!
I did. I showed an example of how bad the distortion is even in this video. The other channel probably didn’t know what to look for. Full frame mode is not recommended at least not by 7Artisans, or me after testing it.
@@GeekyNerdyTechy it works very well on full frame, Sony cameras. It only has a slight vignette that could easily be corrected in post or with clear image zoom.. I have a Sony A7S3 and I will be making a video review with this lens very soon! It’s a fantastic lens and extremely versatile.

Nice. Very nice. Is there something for MFT?

Looks like they have one of each in MFT.

I have a Canon 200D ii (Rebel SL2)... Is it possible to use 7Artisans 50 MM T1.05 with adapter? will it be useful? Thanks in advance...
U can use it for photography? I have an R6 with an RF 100 Macro 2,8L and I wanna but this lens in the 50 mm version as a portrait prime lens.

Would you recommend this lens for the a7siii?
yes but in APSC mode only
try it in full frame - another TH-cam channel tested it and it worked well.

@@GeekyNerdyTechy ahh that's too bad - would love to see more in full frame. Falloff can be quite nice - main draw for vintage glass
@@GeekyNerdyTechy do you have any sample of the images in fullframe mode?

So is this lens 35mm or 50mm? Assuming it’s true 35 as it’s an apsc lens?
35mm APS-C lens = 52.5mm field of view.
