Absolutely agreed. I will never make this at home (I live In a house of picky people). But I do watch every Video Chef and Jack put out just because of the good feels Chef puts out.
Chef JP has a talent that no other chef has. He keeps his viewers engaged by entertaining them and teaching them at the same time. This chef is really an artist he should be nominated for the Emmy’s award, and I am sure he will win it. I think Hollywood should think about including chefs in the awards
Chef, Jack was salivating over there behind the camera and me watching it 🤣. I love lamb. You are such a character, makes me feel better and happier. Thank you! God bless you 🙏❤️ Jack, great job... love the pop ups ❣️
I started getting really bad anxiety attacks recently. Nothing calms me down faster than hearing "Hello friends!". Thank you for making these videos not just to teach me how to cook but to help calm me down. Thank you Chef!
That sauce looks fabulous! I have also come to the conclusion that Jack may have the greatest job in the universe! Forced to endure the torture of learning to make fine cuisine and eat gourmet meals every week. Lets all take a moment of silence for poor poor Jack who hath suffered for us all. You guys are awesome!
Chef, My uncle was the head chef at a somewhat well-known steak house outside of Chicago for 25 years. I grew up in that kitchen, and you remind me of him a lot. He wasn’t as animated as you, but he loved to teach and take people under his wing. I think that’s why I love this channel and your content. Thanks for taking time out of your retirement to help ignite a passion for cooking in people. It’s wonderful.
I tried to start a new comment but when I tried to copy and paste your name it didn’t work and when I wrote it all out it didn’t seem to work right so I just replied to the first comment I could find from you 😳😜
Wow. Made this for my wife, yesterday, ingredient by ingredient, same as video. So elegant. Since each bone literally cost 15 dollars, it is another good reason for that breadcrumb mixture to be there, as it is filling
I love watching this man work! He is the Michelangelo of cooking. I want to compliment his camera man Jack on his technology and skill. Together they make an outstanding team.
This sauce looks AMAZING! I now cook with red wine, even though I don't drink it (because I'm a lightweigt 😵💫). Once I ran into a chef in the grocery store. Actually, I was blocking his view of the spices. Impatient to get around me (😂 ), he asked me what I was cooking and gave me suggestions... which led to another cooking tip to add red wine to my stew. OMG! It added a whole new level of flavor! Drinking wine and cooking with it are two different things altogether, because most of the alcohol burns off in cooking.
Chef, you are so inspirational! I was in town this morning and asked my butcher about a big rack and she giggled, she's a big lady, as you'd expect a lady butcher to be. It's a bit early for lamb in the UK so I was able to get half a rack of hogget. She French dressed it and divided them into single chops, £9.80. I got home but forgot the mascarpone and the Bourbon whiskey. It's my age I suppose. Another trip to town or chops in the freezer for two days? Nah, better to wait until we have all the ingredients so I will egg dip and breadcrumb the chops for now and reorder them for the weekend. PS, I've sent the butcher a link to your site and this recipe. She's going to get a bit huffy when she sees the size of your chops.
Really enjoyed this recipe. Sauce is very unique and pairs so well with the meat and veggies. The mascarpone cheese mixture just amazing with the crunch from the breadcrumbs. This is a pretty involved dish overall timing wise. But highly recommend.
As usual Chef an absolutely gorgeous looking dish cooked as always with enthusiasm and passion that's why we all love you and Jack we love your humour and presentation and think you're amazing too!!
Love the way you take us through the culinary process ...French cooking uses wines to enhance the flavour profile... Indian cooking uses a lot of condiments ...Lamb Chops is the 'Mutton/Lamb Chaap' is Lamb chops are marinated and are cooked in a gravy with spices and aromatic flavors are enhanced with the slow cooking process, sometimes 'Mutton Chaap Fry ,' is the dry version...But the gravy version is a must try from the Indian cuisine...Enjoyed the video...
Chef, I followed your recipe for trimming and cooking rack of lamb for my Easter dinner and it came out DELICIOUS. I happen to have one more rack available, so I think I'm gonna try this recipe next. I'm sure it will also be a success.
@@ChefJeanPierre No, thank you. I marvel at your creative confidence and humanity....plus of course I love your humour and humility. I am moving to Lyon next year (after 50+ years in the UK) so that I can live the golden years of my life in my original homeland. My South African ancestors were French Huguenots who were refugees escaping death in Europe by fleeing to Africa. How times change, but not cooking and eating with loved ones, that is both universal and timeless.
Another great recipe! 👌 I'm making the French onyo soup today, which has been a big hit here since I first tried chef JP's recipe 🤤 I'm sure this lambchop recipe will be just as good 😁
I'm part Serbian and grew up on lamb. Unfortunately the only way my husband will eat it is when I make stuffed grape leaves. Soon I'll make lamb chops for me and pork chops for him. Thanks for the tips in this video!
These look absolutely gorgeous. I don’t like much lamb but I do like lamb chops every now and again and I’m certainly going to try this way, my mouth is watering and now I’m hungry. I don’t really have an appetite but seeing this I’m feeling so hungry, yum yum yum. My youngest son is a chef and he doesn’t cook for me but he will tell me how to make things when I ask him. The last good he helped me with was 2 big racks of lamb and I cannot remember what I put on them but they were to die for and everyone who was over for dinner loved their meal. Thank you Chef for sharing your recipes with all of us and your fantastic personality, it’s contagious.
Oh mashed swede, beautiful, another great dish 😮. I bet you could make any complicated dish simple with your communication skills and showing how too skills 😊 Thank you chef
This reminds me of how I love to prepare chicken breasts, except I add a duxelles and chopped cooked spinach to my mascarpone mixture, then top with bread crumbs. I love a marsala sauce with it. It's always a hit! My point is: this is a *very* flexible technique.
There are certain people we talk about during our daily lives, and we know them by their name. So whenever one of us says Chef we know who we are talking about
Incredible recipe, Chef. And YES, I would add the bourbon. And the reminder to us in the audience that butter is an e-mool-shun is always appreciated. Can't wait for the next video !!!
made now, up to oven stage! whew.... used cranberries, sauce looks .. aaaAAAmmmAaaAzzZZiiinGggg! .... a dash of red for the sauce, the rest for the saucy cook... lol xx ty team, yeah, I don't know what you're going to do if you don't drink, either.
2 like day. Made your lamb chops with red wine reduction for Easter last year. This year my 85 year old Mum was in rehab for Easter. We will have a belated Easter dinner this weekend. This will be it. Thanks for being you. Oh I like big racks too!
haven't been watching youtube, but its time to watch chefs videos when lamb chops are on the menu. sir with all due respect, i have baked roasted fried smoked and grilled lamb chops, i have concluded that, LAMB CHOPS NEED DIRECT FIRE. i love the cooked roux! reminds me i have to make another batch.
Lamb!! I love this! It's perfect timing for a lamb recipe. I just picked up some lamb from a local farmstore. A good substitute for rutabaga is turnip or carrot and potato mixed.
I normally do my lamb cutlets with just mustard on one side and covered in garlic chives but I never thought of cream cheese and bread crumbs. I must try this tomorrow.
You know, sometimes I watch this channel not to learn how to cook better but just to feel better. Chef just has such a good vibe. :)
I quite regularly watch older vids of Chef's because he just makes you smile
Absolutely agreed. I will never make this at home (I live In a house of picky people). But I do watch every Video Chef and Jack put out just because of the good feels Chef puts out.
You can poke, but don't peek. He says "let them alone". Great for any meat(grilling too) I feel better too. Gives Me confidence.
My husband and I feel the same way! 😊
Right?!

Chef JP for best chef and Jack for best camera and editing.
Chef Jean-Pierre rules all! The best Chef on this platform, hands down.
I have to agree!!
I second that!!!!
Chef john the OG tho, alsow very nice
yep
Jacques Pepin might disagree with you on being the best. But I give Jean-Pierre a strong second.

Love the way you sieve, with the bottom of a ladle, you are the real deal, not many know that trick.
Always fun when Chef mentions one of them is for Jack, like cooking for a friend.

@@LunarLocust That Jack requested in his contract.

Man I don’t know why I watch this channel. I just ate and now I’m hungry again. Love you Chef.
He's part French. part Italian, lives in America and eats butter like an English man!
Good recipes and good laughs along the way. TH-cams #1 chef
Dear Mr. Chef JP
After watching you once a day every day i came to the point where i no longer need my blood pressure medication. Thank you sir
I get burned out on every channel except this one. I love watching you cook. Thanks for brightening my day.
Watched so many Chef jp videos that when he says "friend" it feels sincere even though I've never met him
Chef very much does make us feel like we are part of his friend group. I very much hope to someday meet him in person.
