While you have to admit the second album is definitely a downgrade from their catchy, melodic and downright brilliant debut, it is still a great album. But then again I don’t think they ever could of topped that first album, especially considering they lost a lot of their momentum in the early 90’s.
Being of an age where I was too young to appreciate the first album, it was ironically the second album that got me into the Roses. They are my favourite band and Driving South was the song that set that all in motion. You absolutely nailed this and thinking back to how long it took me to learn it once I got myself a guitar I can honestly say you've done an absolutely amazing job. Incredible performance of what is a rather tricky song. Just been to Wembley and seen them play! 😎🍋
@tonyyuille they come with a tab book 'Play Guitar With..The Stone Roses'. Although the tab for this IMHO isnt right in the book, the backing tracks are good.
