- My interpretation of John Squire's 'solo from start to finish' guitar part from the somewhat underrated Roses classic. I missed the wah effect off in places, but you should get the gist of it.

I think one love is the roses most underrated song the guitar playing is on another level.

@Wootlol200 thanks. IMHO Mr Squire reached something of a peak with his playing on this. Real pity the Roses couldn't release a second album at this point in their career.

That change upto F#m from E is a stroke of sheer unadulterated genius at the end. I remember being a kid and listening to that over and over again going wtf just happened there...why would you do that?...where did that come from - sublime..thanks for putting this up - absolutely brilliant.

Great playing! Hard to find "Play Along With .. Stone Roses" these days. I have a 1981 Love Rock LS-120. I love the guitar, it's a finely-crafted instrument. You could turn these Stone Roses videos into a whole series of lessons!

Great Job. Been trying to play this song for years, and I can tell you how it is one of the toughest songs to play. Just little disappointing that you didn't try doing the outro. I know its not on the backtrack but it somehow doesn't do the song justice wihtout trying to play it. Still you had a good vibe. Only saw one better on youtube years ago. and that was from a musician.

Is it constant use of the wah throughout or is there some form of flanger or phaser going on?
He uses a Flanger throughout and Wah at various points. Can't remember what I used on this to be honest. Probably a Flanger on the POD I had at the time.
