The challenges in this game could never be worse such as BS counter fails. going to hit the dangerous people when you didn’t even point the joystick at their direction makes me want to destroy my ps4
@@MdMaynard I think the main problem is the lack of gadget and combo options. For example: no beatdowns, smoke bomb, freeze grenade, disarm and destroy, bat claw slam, etc.

Nah same I thought it was just me getting mad at the game but batman feels slow ASF I could never get past the 48k mark cause there would always be a mf punching me just as I was about to finish the guy off
As of July 2024, this glitch still works! It was such a life saver for me, and helped me score the platinum trophy! Although I did this on the 2nd round, since there was only 1 titan to defeat. Although it took a long time to reach 50,000 points, since I got 20k on round 1(somehow?)
@@wissopower2270 That all depends on your current score. For me, it took me roughly 1-2 hours to reach 50k on the second round. But if you scored higher than me, then it should take less time to do so. Also, keep in mind this is just a rough estimate on my end. It all depends on weather or not you accidentally KO the titan.

@@MdMaynard Speaking of Arkham Knight: I still can't seem to get a perfect freeflow on round 3 of the monarch theatre. For whatever reason, I can never get a perfect freeflow on round 3 as Batman or Nightwing. I've tried bat claw slam, punch, back-flip rinse n repeat, nothing works! Also, I'm struggling to defuse Mad Hatter's 3rd bomb, as well as score 5 perfect shots in the batmobile without taking damage.
@@nine_tails137 I trudged though all the challenges of Asylum and City on the PS3, & finally went back and cleared Return to Asylum on PS4 for that plat. But didn't have it in me to do City challenges again on PS4. And as much as I was hoping to plat Knight, those challenges were really frustrating and my backlog was piling up lol. I enjoy a good challenge & while I know I'm not the best I'm certainly not bad at the challenges So when I'm spending over 3 hours trying to pass a single challenge I think it's time to say this isn't fun anymore lol (plus my backlog of games has piled up from spending too much time on trophies like that lol). It's too bad because I absolutely love the Arkham series and would love to have a plat in all of them that Rocksteady did. (not the one off that WB Montreal did, Arkham Origins)
@@MdMaynard I feel ya. I just got platinum on Arkham Asylum, but I'm hesitant to play Arkham City, since there are some trophies that are complete BS. Such as Storyteller(aka: the Calendarman trophy). Then you've got Arkham Knight Trophies like: the Curtain Falls, A Chill in the Air, Point of Impact, etc. And yes! I too still love the Arkham games, and I wish I'd played them sooner, but when Rocksteady adds BS trophies, like ones that require taking no damage, or performing a perfect freeflow in all 4 rounds is maddening! Cause while I am really good at video games, I always get hit at least once in every game I play! Anyway, the only reason I decided to platinum Arkham Asylum, is because I heard it was the easiest out of the 3 games...sort of. I did find an exploit in Rumble in the Jungle Extreme to get 50k, so it saved me a lot of rage quitting.
@@nine_tails137 Asylum wasn't too horrible to plat thankfully, & like you say about being the first in the series I can forgive leaving some things out that they made up for in the predecessors. It's been too many years now for me to remember the specific trophies in City. I do vaguely remember the Calendar Man one being a bit of a pain, I think changing the date on the console worked for that. Though nothing in the main story left me with a bad taste like the challenges did (except for that one in-game AR challenge flying through the tunnel, that took me days to figure out, especially with the PS3 clunky mechanics lol). I never understood why they would make the trophies so heavily dependent on those challenges, maybe forcing post-game content-ish. They could have easily just had us complete one hard level challenge leaving the rest for people who wanted to do them. The City campaign was a masterpiece of a game to me especially for it's time, then you force these frustrating challenges. And the challenges from Kight made me walk away, the Riddler challenges should have been enough lol. Now I'm getting excited for the upcoming Star Wars game, so glad Ubisoft is taking over.

I saw the leaderboard, and there is a guy with 3 million points. I was like "sure there is a glitch there", and if THIS is what he was doing to get a 3 million points, dude... Get a life XDD
I am aware there will never be another update though it is nice for people looking for help to know right off that it's still working. Especially since this glitch can be a bit tricky to get the timing. I do appreciate the info nonetheless. Hope you have a safe & wonderful 2024.
@@MdMaynard it definitely worked I did this trick in round 2 with the titan and at the end of round 4 I was 63000 got the 3 bat's good tip and got the platinum

that's helpful but i think it'd be faster to just restart and try legit depending on how much you need for the score i suck at combat challenges (too ancy, press X/□ too many times etc) so i might still use it even if i need 20k
You're absolutely right, it can take forever doing it this way.. especially if your score is far off. Plus, one little mistake & 'poof', all that time & effort gone lol. I didn't have the patience for it myself, & like with anything after some trial & error (& some OCD) you eventually get a feel for this challange also. Though this safety-net is there just in case. Cool screen-name by the way, I really like it.

It’s not that hard once you know all the combos in your head when your to hit them or doing those perfect round But nice to know there are other ways to beat those extreme maps
I know all the combos, it's just that when I try to pull them off, I keep either getting sucker punched in the most bullshit way possible, my combo breaks for no reason, or I knock them out too fast and barely get any points from the round
@@superiorcomicfan It has been a long time since I have played this game but you need to learn how to practice first The video explains it what to do if you fail it’s because you are standing to close please try stand some meters away from him so you can do the dive kick on him and then throw the boomerang on him to farm your points up and please don’t rush up it’s easier to break the combos than doing it correctly You have two of them so it’s should give you enough points to do it Don’t finish the first guy Immediately and follow the video and farm your points up it’s more like if you mess up the first one then you always have the other one to do it and when you get all your points then you can just finish them
