I actually did the 2nd contract myself, and it's actually possible to do it pretty quick. Though it's not easy.
Grab a 4x zoom sniper rifle, start at the default starting location, head to the door leading to the basement on the left side of the hotel, and use your sniper. You can just barely get an angel on Lion Forrest, and his head is about a small pixel shot. If you shoot at just the right spot, you can get a headshot on him without needing to trigger the Easter Egg while maintaining Silent Assassin under a minute.

I'll give that a go with a 4x zoom. I've tried to catch him before he sits down, but can't pull it off. Skill issue on my end

It may seem like cheating, but what people actually do on some of these levels is wait 24 hours before finishing the level. I'm not sure if they change the calendar date and clock time, or if they actually just wait the full 24 hours, but when you hit 24 hours, the timer resets so you can get some insane times like 1 second and all that.

When I played Hitman 3 last year, many things also seemed impossible. Take a look at the videos of GenP or Tupla Pekoni.

I played Hitman 2 and 3 for a total of 6000 hours and thought I already knew a lot. In many contracts I was the first. However, when I saw these videos, then I lost the desire to play this game. 😂

Definitely cheating going on when it comes to leaderboards, you only have to look at some escalations where it takes at least a minute to get to a certain weapon you need to kill the target with

Yeah I think it's a mix of cheaters and really talented players. Pretty standard across the gaming world I guess. It's really hard to find clips of these sub 30 second contracts... Would love to see how they do it!

@The Leon Forster Thing I've just been playing the Dartmoor escalation where you have to A: get to a specific rifle, B: take out 5 targets, and C: escape the mission, the current record is 2:11 seconds, seriously not possible without mods
