Holding alt and clicking to cycle color types of shape layers and tools was a new one and so was holding alt to break and stretch out a marker. This is coming from someone who has used AE for over 10 years. Good job on the tips!
Great video, learned quite a few new things! I'd also like to share one that I use often myself: pressing *Ctrl + Alt + Home* to center the anchor point on the layer, and *Ctrl + Home* to center the layer to the comp (using the anchor point as a center). Nice and quick way to center your shapes/texts etc to the center of the comp :)
Anyone starting AE, save this video and watch it multiple times as you’re learning. This was an excellent set of time savers. I’ve been using AE for about 8 months now and didn’t know about 20 of these tips. Thanks for the video and I will be watching your other ones.
Haha, it's completely ok to not know these tips, it took me years to realize too! Thank you so much for the support and amazing feedback, really appreciate it :)

Holding alt and clicking to cycle color types of shape layers and tools was a new one and so was holding alt to break and stretch out a marker. This is coming from someone who has used AE for over 10 years. Good job on the tips!
Ben you're a gem, this was so enlightening
I'm glad I watched all the way to the end, because the 51st was the one I'd never seen and will radically change my workflow. Thank you!
I knew some of these. Some others I will tattoo on my forehead so I never ever forget them

thank you you make it show easy and simple to understand !! all other videos make it more complex when they explain
I paid $3000+ in university to learn less than in this 12 minutes.
For real tho.
I honestly hope people are out there skipping college and learning from TH-cam and landing jobs. For real.
Lucky you. We pay $20,000 to learn nothing in the US
We all need to know that we only pay more in university to get more connections and to get degrees
@@hayteren do you go to a community collage? bc universities charge that much just for a semester

This is PURE gold
Great video, learned quite a few new things! I'd also like to share one that I use often myself: pressing *Ctrl + Alt + Home* to center the anchor point on the layer, and *Ctrl + Home* to center the layer to the comp (using the anchor point as a center). Nice and quick way to center your shapes/texts etc to the center of the comp :)
Thank you! Such a great tip. Thanks for sharing :D
Thank you very much, this video was very useful!

Anyone starting AE, save this video and watch it multiple times as you’re learning. This was an excellent set of time savers. I’ve been using AE for about 8 months now and didn’t know about 20 of these tips.
Thanks for the video and I will be watching your other ones.
