The grip was huge and perfect on the a6600 lol it got even bigger!? Nice! Also, I've never truly experienced overheating luckily with my a6600 even in extremely hot South East Asian temps, but luckily since they updated the display on the a6700, you can actually just install a fan there for about $60. I'm using the Tilta one on my ZV-E1 and it works perfectly!
yeah the fans are cool, but they sometimes don't stick that well on the back of the camera :(
Hi Eli! Plz run this by me again. You paid nearly two G for the ZV-E1? Right? If so, then you get a super duper $60 dollar stick on Tilta wonder fan to make your two G investment work, I luv it. How about sending both of those items, the cam and the fan to Japan Inc direct and saying u want your money back. The least they can do to make up for Genius Tech of theirs is to replace both items with the FX3 body! 😎😎

Maybe i am too late to ask this but i'm really thinking about getting a digital camera (I just shot film with a Canon A1), just something amateur, ocasional, not a big video fan but I can use it sometimes, which would be better, A7III - A7IV - A6700? The price it's "not that important" but the difference between A6700 and A7III in used terms are maybe 200-300€ difference (being A6700 higher). Do you think the A7III or A6700 in 2-3 years won't be good?
great questions that comes down to your preference, do you value the full frame look over apsc? for photo only I would probably take the a7iii and the discount!
Could you upload the source а6700 of some video 10 bit 4.2.2 to a file hosting service to try in the editor?
Yeah no problem Viktor, I'm uploading 60fps 120fps and 240 fps 10 bit clips when I drop my next video Tuesday morning :) Hope that helps

Honestly I haven’t heard anything new and I sold the a6700 it’s just meant for long run times and that’s ok for lots of people

You’re going to love it - my recommendation would be the 18-50 2.8 for sure - that thing will live on your camera :) you can buy lenses as you need but that one will cover a lot of scenarios

I’m pairing with tamron 25-70, sigma lacks image stabilization. If you are doing photography mostly, sigma would work too & It’s compact :)

I think the a6700 would be my choice with the exception that you often shoot video for long record times in 4k. The a7C is nice too because it's full frame if that matters to you and I don't have a lot of experience with the R7

you could make money with the a6700 no problem man - don't let the camera hold you back - just invest in your knowledge of business!

Nice video! Do you reckon the a6700 is adequate for client-based short-form content creation, specifically for shopping malls and lifestyle? Alternatively, would you suggest going for the a7iv? My budget is currently $3000usd, so it's a choice between the a7iv with one lens or the a6700 with multiple lenses, a monitor, gimbal, etc.
I see, honestly I'd just buy the camera that isn't going to have limitations for video like the a6700. So A7IV would be my recommendation with one lens because as you grow as a creative you will find every job is slightly different.
How u removed overheating? My iv overheated after 8mins of 4k interview, I had to wait to continue

Swap a new battery and overheating issue is solved. Make sure you flip the screen out.

@@MattyDCCollins Hi Matty actually, i would also like your opinion on this. Because right now where I'm based, both the A7III(used) and the A6700(new) are the same price. I've got 2 lenses, an APS-C 16mm f1.4 and a full frame 50mm Zeiss 1.4. I do a lot of hybrid stuff, photoshoots and videos for models, food, real estate, and vlogging as well. Right now, my budget is enough for a new A6700 or a used A7iii. What I have right now is a A6400

hmm, well the R series is always pricier, great cameras if you're photography first! file sizes are largeee and if you don't make use of the benefits it's not worth it. Not the best hybrid option

I would probably suggest the a7iv if you're doing interviews :)
I stuck between A7iii and the A6700 I use it for model pics and also some street

get your facts checked, a 6700 does 4k60 at 1.04% crop unlike the a 7iv doing it at 1.5x
Sorry man I think you misunderstood. I meant the A6700 is APSC so it crops in 1.5x compared to a full frame camera.

Neither, unless u like warm toasty hands when shooting the aurora up north where I live. Good luck if either of these haven't overheated and shut down on u with their infamous temper tantrums in the middle of the most spectacular northern lights show you've ever seen. Sook. I’m in Australia, have them both and neither have overheated. I shoot commercial and corporate video.

@@gbwalther3198 No they didn’t. If you know anything about design or manufacturing, it’s not a quick thing to change without telling anyone. It’s just a case of people (you), who have never actually used these cameras making stupid comments! I mean, sure, TH-camrs complain they can’t shoot an hour of 4K 60p, when no filmmaker or commercial videographer EVER does, but hey, let’s not let reality ruin a good story!

So take a deep breath, plz look and listen to the above review by Matty DC Collins video of the a6700. He's the one who made the review with that camera, not me. Am glad u seem to have better luck than many others with your cams. Sony does know how to make cams that don't overheat: Lower end ones: Sony FX30 & Sony FX3. 😎😎
