@@almacohen7952 No. You can never use a Joker with a pair. You may be referring to a previous video where we are showing you what we were going for, at the end of the game. We did not have MahJongg, we were just sharing our possible MahJonggs.
I created Siamese Mah Jongg to be played with integrity and continuity of the rituals of 4-handed Mah Jongg which is why the rules of Siamese Mah Jongg say to build walls, break the wall, etc. When you simply toss the tiles in the center of the table and move them around between games to shuffle them, it's easy to keep an eye on the general location of some Jokers. I prefer the structure of building walls. Imagine playing 4-handed Mah Jongg without walls. It could be done, but it's not how to play the game. Thank you for the question.
Yes. If you want to declare a first Mah Jongg you expose it then discard a tile and that ends your turn and the game continues with the other player calling or picking. This would then leave you with 13 tiles in your other rack for you to continue working towards another Mah Jongg by picking or calling another tile.
Sorry for the confusion. The purpose of this video is to teach you how to play and set up to play Siamese Mah Jongg with the assumption that you already know how to play 4-player Mah Jongg.
The game is so much fun. ❤
Where did you get the racks?

Where do I get the card from?

Gladys, I was wondering if you could start making Siamese Mah Jongg car stickers to sell.
can you play with regular mah jongg tiles?
Yes, play Siamese Mah Jongg with your regular Mah Jongg set. Royale Siamese Mah Jongg aka 4-handed Siamese Mah Jongg is played with 2 sets, though.
Wow, interesting. Do the 2 sets have to be the same color? Or can they be of different colors?
I saw on another video 2 ladies playing and one of the ladies used a joker in a pair. Is that allowed in Siamese?
@@franka7691 No. In general people use two different looking sets so they can easily separate them if needed.

Did I see correct that you DISCARD on your first MJ and NO discard on the second MJ. That was not made clear to me.

Not in focus. I can't tell what the tiles are.

No Charleston?
@@SharonDuffey-f9y Nope. No Charleston in Siamese.
